Hi everyone
I've got a G1 and I wanted to put some movies on it. I coverted them to .mp4 format and if I watch a movie it frezzes on the half of it. Can anyone help me what shoud I do to watch full-length movie on my phone?
Try downloading MX Video Player from the market. Default player is kind of flaky... IMHO.
Thanks for help, but it doesn't work. It seems that G1 with cyanogenmod can't handle a video that is longer than 1 hour 10 minutes :S
That should not make any different thou. Try searchiing the market 4 vdo player.

I'm looking for a Video Player that can play video files continuously...Any help is greatly appreciate...Cyanogen rocks for the lately rom build....
Can you be a little more specific? lol. Maybe someone will be able to help you then.
he's looking for a media player specifically for video files where you can set up a playlist to play all files instead of having to keep selecting the next video after the one playing has ended.
like i downloaded a bunch of music videos and i wanted to see if there was an app that would allow the videos to play right after the other once one finishes? like how the music plays. the regular player stops when the video ends and i have to pick and push a new vid to play is there an auto play next video option hidden that i cant find?? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
I believe both Mobo Player and BS Player (both free in the Market) do this. QQPlayer is another one worth trying.
I know for sure that one of these has this option, just can't remember which! All are worth a try tho.
Hi!
Can anyone help me with my problem?
Im having problem watching movie with resolution of 840x480 on MX player..
i don't think using other video player will fix the problem..
and i don't want to download and then convert the movie just to watch it..
I have a 480x320 video,and it was so smooth..
so im guessing if the problem is on my phone, because it's only on stock kernel, and though OC,only up to 729Mhz..
I just want to clear my thoughts that i can watch my favorite movie when im on the road..
thank you!!

I guess our phone is not capable of playing movie of that resolution. Anyway resolution is 320x480 so you wont see any difference.
Hi I've just got the z1 after years of HTC, love the phone but when I try to watch a TV show or movie it stutters all the way through, like frame rate is very low, this happens on the Sony movie player and mx player, all files are avi.
Is there any settings I can use to sort this out?

Ok give me a feedback if that works with VLC :good:
Vlc seems to work fine, tried it for about 20 minutes and no visible stutters.
Thanks for your advice
So basically I'm looking for the best possible solution here:
I have approx 20-30 movies on my tab all in mp4(mostly) used this format because I stream to my tv via apple tv now the proble is only some of these videos play on the tab so either I'm looking for a video player that can handle mp4 or a different format to utilze with apple and a corrosppnonding video player to use locally on the tab.
Players Iv tried with lil to no success
Mx player
Joe vlc
Archie(+ add-ons)
Mobo player
And various "easy mp4 players" in the market
I've attempted to move them from the sd to local memory and no affect on the outcome so I come to the brilliant minds of sds for a solution on.open to all suggestions at this point.
Plz excuse the various typos thru out post. Posting from my phone
