Battery.? - Motorola Droid Bionic

New to this phone and, wondered why the battery percentage only goes down 10% at a time?
DROID BIONIC using XDA Premium App

It's something to do with the ui try downloading the circle battery widget it shows one percent increments
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App

If you ever get into custom ROMs, Liberty 3 RC1 has 1% increments built into it. Otherwise, there's a standalone hack wandering around here somewhere.

I have no hack or anything, I just use the Circle Battery Widget off the market and it shows 1% battery increments:

I'm into custom ROM's. I've had a few phones that I rooted and loved it!

You can try battery solo widget too. Its free.
Sent via r3blurr3d bionic

The free Solo Widget goes in 10% increments. The Circle Battery Widget goes in 1% increments like others already said.

There's a few different named widgets. You have to type battery solo widget. Here's a screenshot showing it's not 10% Increments

I use the battery monitor widget. I set it up so the widget shows me my battery temp, estimated time until my battery dies, and battery % (uses 1% increments). Its also nice because it shows a graph of your battery usage when you open the app/tap on the widget.

Both th3ory roms and liberty rom have 1% battery mod I stay away from battery widget they use to much battery life.

Yeah, I love TH3ORY's ROM, that was the first thing I absolutely loved about it when he first released it. I saw something around here on XDA I think that had a 1% battery hack for stock...but I can't find it again. It was probably in the Development forum.

Live wallpapers will always increase battery drain. Better coded ones use less but it's still going to be significantly more than a conventional one.

On that screen I'm using
Turtle Photo Frame - cycles through photos in a specified folder. It's really nice and light on battery.
Widgetsoid 2.x for battery indicator
Beautiful Widgets 1x1 for weather
Digital Clock Widget for time - have it linked to Alarms.

As someone said it all really depends on the coding of the LWP - the one I've recommended is NexusKang. It's a TeamDouche creation which means you can count on it being well written. At the end of the day it uses about 2-4% of my total battery drain.

Pixel screen

Ok ive looked all over and havent found this issue addressed. Is the pixelated screen a simple software update? Love the phone i just got it today but the screen makes everything hudt my eyes
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium
The screen is a pentile screen and is designed that way. It looks pixelated because instead of just RGB pixels, the layout is RGBW. This means 25% of the pixels on the screen are white, and make it brighter in daylight, and requires less power to brighten the screen. It just looks pixelated due to the pixel setup
