Any OTHER rom. In most cases if you upgrading same type of rom no need to full wipe. Just try w/o it, if fail to boot then full wipe.

So i need to do a wipe when instaling froyobread on stock rom?
Sent from my E15i using XDA App

Yes you do. Just search forum there is a lot such questions and answers..

Better do it before.
And back up your apps with Titanium before if you want to keep them.-

Sent from my E15i using xda app-developers app
delete it from gaaps.zip
1. Make a Nandroid backup,
then install gapps
2. Note all added apps in the App Drawer,
3. Restore the backup while you remove the noted app apk's from the zip file on your PC
and then flash your own gapps.zip
Not the best way, but I can't look into a gapps zip at the moment, so this should do the trick

I like how laconic stamatis16 has been, which is why I'm gong to drop in a thanks. As for the answer to your question, you gotta root it, install XRecovery or CWM, download one of the countless GB ROMs available, thank the dev there and then flash it in recovery. Instructions can be found in Development section.
Which development ? Original development or the other one ?

(here in xda forum) Search->read->learn

android 4.1.2 jb by nAa
Best is MiniCm7 with alfs kernel(using it), minicm10 is fast , all good , except the lag when you get a phone call , minicm9 is a lil laggy than minicm10.

Blind RECOVERY MODE??

Well I just rooted my phone and I tried to install Zeus ROM.. inside the recovery mode I select.. install zip from SD card.. then I open the main SD card folder where I have Zeus 7 and update 06.. and the CMW doesn't see them anyway.. it only sees the superuser.zip... any help???
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda app-developers app
Is the ".zip" extension there ? I sometimes when downloading some zip files, only get files with no extension, like "XYZ" and I need to rename it to "XYZ.zip". Just suggesting, don't know what really is your case. :/
It is already. Zip
It sees only the superuser.zip

Install goomanager, then launch it and use the soft button at the left of our phone (you know, the one that shows more settings) and select to install TWRP. That's how I installed it quickly with no headache.

I had this problem once. I remembered it was due to my CWM being the later version. So I 'downgraded' it and everything went well

It'll be a dirty flash. Bugs fcs and slow lags
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
What is the meaning of dirty flash?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
When you flash a rom over a previous rom without wiping it is a dirty flash.
If you follow dakren's Instructions it is not a dirty flash afaik.
Btw i can flash new rom by wiping my device and install new rom like usual?

download everything to pc , format all your data in recovery mode, reboot in recovery so the sd is readable again and use adb sideload to flash new rom and everything
Edit: *Careful when i say format data i mean you choose "format data" in recovery, dont select every single file and delete it or u will just delete the recovery too and u will need to reinstall it
