hi
i have a question:
i'm on nova v8 and i tried to delet that file
"libGLES_android.so from system/lib/egl"
but the phone doesn't let me..it says this file can't be deleted.
i'm trying to deleted by the es explorer.
if someone can help me i'll be glad
sorry for my bad english
thanks
Since nova is already a rooted Rom, all you need to do is to brows the settings of es file explorer and gain root access and super user permission. Then in settings of es file manager, mount system files as R /W enabled. Then you can do all modifications with system files.
Now an another thing that the title of this thread like improving 3d graphic quadrant score is quite misleading to your question. Please edit it. And another thing, please brows the forums.... this question is already been answered.
thank you.
now can you tell me how to delet this thread??
i'm new in forums and i don't know much..

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but there are so many posts its hard to sift through them all.
I've been to project voodoo's web site and found that I can download the update.zip file put it in the main directory, then install it via recovery mode.
Is there anything extra to it? Root phone?
If i want to uninstall it, how do I do it?
Is there a tutorial based on this? Or another thread?
Thanks guys!

I know what you mean... you just want the instructions plain and simple with no cmd language to it... kinda need a a-z guide. All the info is on the Voodoo home page, but imo it needs to be broken down a little more for the novice user, and become more open source as it should be and not like a ubuntu forum with geek language lol - geek language just frightens people away..

I don't see any mention of having to root the phone... Is that true?

You may have more replies asking on that thread as it is specific to it or in the Q&A section rather than here in the General section.

Hello people,
First of all i'm new to this forum but i have a question.
I wanted to remove de music application from the notification bar, but i excidently removed the whole music.apk.
I didn't make a backup. I also read other threads about this problem but there's no real solution.
The easiest solution is to install a new music.apk. But i don't have that file anymore.
Can somebody post this file?
Thanks already!

Thanks man!
Searched for it but didn't find it.
I have a ringtone, which i want to put in phones memory's ringtones folder and phone blocks me. How can i change permissions of that Ringtones folder ?
read first thread in dev section
Thankyou for telling him, i didnt notice your post and was starting to rage!
You dont need to is the simple answer...Open your sdcard. Your going to make some folders...
First folder is media, inside media you make another called audio...
Then inside audio make one called notifications and one called ringtones
so inside audio you have 2 folders put ringtones into the ringtone folder and notifications in the notification folder!
Also if you are usign blayo's B.0.8 you can adb or terminal "aufs --enable" reboot it then write to system..
Next time ask in the Questions and Answers or at lest in the general..
Im sure if you had searched the development section for Writing to System you would have found blayo's bit..Please read the forum rules..
bonesy: please stop answering the questions when put on wrong section.. otherwise people will just think: I'll post in Dev section cause someone will give me an answer anyway..
Sent from somewhere outta space using my phone..
Okkkay, sorry guys, just needed the answer fast

I've been using File Expert for a while now, and I must say it's the best overall explorer. And it's FREE!
Highly recommend!

I found this out yesterday...you need the NFC services app
You can get the app from another rom - I downloaded existanz (as I plan to try it at some point) and got it from there.
Use a root file explorer to navigate to system/app and paste the app there. Set it's permissions correctly (the same as every other app in this folder) and reboot.
Sorry I can't help with the file, it's on my phone but I used a buggy recovery today and have wiped my boot.img - won't be able to repair it until I get home.

I've tried yet, but didn't work for me. I really think this app is deleted because it doesn't appear in the settings menu too.
@ Parkside : goode idea, i will try to find it in other rom, thanks
Edit : my problem is solved, just take the NFC app from another rom and copy this with a root file explorer with correct permissions
