Hey!
Nostalgia work, rendered the menu loading video from Tiberian Sun, and mixed togetger a matching boot audio track (atleast it's in sync on my legend..)
Inside the .zip lies android_audio.mp3 and bootanimation.zip, make sure you extract the files before pushing! And obviously edit the desc.txt to match your horizontal resolution, but I guess you guys do that on autopilot
Sounds are taken from the Tiberian Sun theme pack.
How about some screenshots or a YouTube preview?
I'll get to that, but I can't post links yet :-(

I'm interested, but I may need a screen shot or two.

Here are some screenshots, in realsize. Yes, the bootanimation really is this small (240x150 pixels...)

I made it that small to minimize lag, the pngs are also saved in 256 colors.. You guys have any tips on how to get the boot animation to play smoother? This is my first work

Ahhhhh that was and is an awesome game - the good old c&c family
Thank you!
Do you plan this to do with a higher resolution and for example with previous games?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
What horizontal resolution do you want?
EDIT: Considering the response I've got already, there may not be a long wait for another animation
Requests, anyone?

Ok so after playing around some more with the mod I think I'm satisfied enough to share this with others.
Currently the 4x4 and 2x2 widgets are bugged, but the 4x3 widgets as pictured above work perfectly.
This has been tested on HDPI ONLY, but it should work fine with all devices.
Instructions:
- Copy to your sdcard, install like any other apk.
- Add a 4x3 widget to your homescreen.
- Listen to music.
Grab the download here.

Hope you can help me!
Its allways saying "Playlist is empty"

Dont forget to thank him too at this post if you like the bootanimation.
looks very nice, would love to be able to use it...
I think it's b'cause you have to high resolution. The resolution on O2X is 480x800, and you have 540x960.

I resized all to 480x800 and it runs at 20 fps (default from OP's link). Download at mediafire.

it works! thanks! I remember resizing it to 480x800 when i first tried and setting each png to 8bit when i first edited this. i misplaced that folder which explains why the pngs in my original post showed 540x960. dont know why that didnt work.
thanks again, man. ill message an editor to edit the title to show that it works now! thanks!
Plz help
When i try to paste the zip in system/media using root explorer, it fails to paste, it shows " There was not enough free disk space to complete the paste operation."
Thanks in advance
I've made this style of bootanimation for all Tegra devices... Will upload the O2X one soon
It's like a 3D Nvdia chip floating and compressed saying Tegra 2 and LG's new 3.0 bootanimation in one

flash in recovery or extract bootanimation.zip and copy to /system/media
v2 fixes the loop. v1 didn't loop due to an error in the desc.txt. this version is considered final
Code:

Is it supposed to just be the X? I flashed it on CM9 RC1 and it is just the picture in the first post.
I think it only is the X, but it does a cool fade in at the beginning. For what's it' worth I like it.
Do it work in x10?

The other one was marked a WIP...it sounded to me like theirs wasn't working....mine was, so I started my own thread
**I posted an updated version that fixes the animation loop. the first version didn't loop at all due to an error in the desc.txt

the resolution is exactly the same...my x10's battery is currently drained, so I can't say for sure, but I don't see why not!
I just installed it on my Nexus S, works flawlessly.
Just something I noticed that's very small, when the animation is about to start again there's a slight stop and go, for like a split second. other than that, everything else is amazing.
Thanks
link is broken. can u post new one?
Now that was a great bootanimation: simple, unique, Nexus.
Here is a quick preview of my upcoming Pokemon balls. Just let me know your feedback thank-you.

IDK if its just me but the icons look pretty low-res and not well edited to me.
Specially since you are using a black background you can see the bad cuts outs of it.
If it's possible, I suggest you use one of these as those are high-res and will be extremely easy to cut out since they are png's.
1) I'm doing them on my phone(no computer) and 2) my phones screen is shattered and the digitizer is bleeding xD so the quality is crappy on my phone either way I thought they looked good xD

Excuse me, but the Warcraft III's Lich isn't from an anime.
It may seem overkill to post for that, but it's important to me as this game was part of my life for years.
Thank you.

Thanks for these man.
Great post. I'm curious how you got these wallpapers? Is it possible to resize any large resolution wallpaper down to the desire 510's resolution? If so, what resolution should I use?
