so clean
That is just great. Looks beautiful. Keep them coming. What about making a black version of the slate skin instead of the plain grey?

I have 3 different Black skins on the market now.
Looks great! The only thing I'd change is the battery percentage indicator... some graphic with the percentage, rather than just text. Maybe a colored ring (like the inner portion of an Identity Disk, as you used for the lock ring; however, ending at the blue line, which would be the percentage indicator, maybe with text in the middle?).
EDIT: Something along the lines of this battery indicator - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1214789
ohhhhhhh I would use that!

it would be sweet if the battery images where included in skins, but there not. anyone can use the UOT kitchen and make whatever battery mod they want in minutes.
while I can understand the sexayness of the transparent dropdown shade, seeing yours just kind of gives me the impression of too cluttered. Well I dont mean on JUST yours, but ever transparent one, then again it all depends on how much stuff one has on their homescreens when the shades down
I agree. normally mine aren't full trans but I just made an animated drop down mod so it kinda has to be for that.

The Spiderman "Face" loses the red color as the battery decreases.
The Flash Charging Icon:
The lightning bolt alternates between white and yellow when charging.

The battery widget at the bottom with the 60% on the pic,is it a standard widget of ur phone or is it available to download ?
Is there a Super Dark Notification bar theme that makes the Notification bar Blend with the Nexus One's Outer layer ((the Black lining ))?
You won't get it as dark as the actual border, but there are plenty of "black bar" notification bar tweaks. Check out my signature for a version of black bar that works in FroYo (FRF50, not 72 yet, sadly).
Look in the Themes and Apps section for more. Also, if you use the search function, you'll find a ton for whatever custom ROM you are on already.
Do you need to root frf50 ti change the colour of the notification bar?

You can actually get is as black as the border..here is a quick ss off my home screen >>>

lemmi kno op i can send you just the .9 png so u can metamorph or ninajamorph it
exactly as above. i use a completely black color, 100% true black. and then use a true black wallpaper, so that they blend together completely. cant tell one bit, and it looks great! plus its saving so much battery

Thats exactly what im looking for!! Does it work with Froyo??
yes i am using one with froyo. just search around for the thread.
You'll never get it as dark as the border, purely because it's a backlit screen, so even 100% black will still be fairly light. Hell, even when the display goes off it's still not 'that' black.
But yeah, the picture that icegad posted will be as dark as you can get it.
or for everyone.
I downloaded the paperless system ADW theme from the market and i absolutely love it.
the person who designed it only did a few Icons and no widgets.
i wish/would like for most of my icons and widgets to be in this paper theme
i don't care to have the dialer and all of that fully themed, but it'd be sweet to have my music widget and maybe even my power control widget to be themed
just asking I like it maybe other people will like it too.
anyone else ever used this theme, its hot like fiya
this is a SS straight from the DEVS page, i emailed him 2 days ago but he hasn't been back to me

i am doing requests for icons and other widget themes. 50c each icon and 2.50 per widget theme. let me know if your interested.
Try here:

I saw some paper like icons there not real sure they match well, but there is a set called magic marker that might work. Either way, take a gander. As for widgets, not sure about that. Sorry.

I got the url from gomorrah's black mod thread. He used it for his icons. I must say, though, it IS pretty good. Took me awhile to figure out how to use them.
Sent from my CDMA Hero. I got some hot froyo on hero action here!
IMO, you could make new icons for it really simply. Just draw them out on paper, scan them, and then cut the icon out and edit it into an icon. If I had a scanner and some decent drawing skills, I'd definitely help you out. But alas, I have no scanner (or drawing skills!)
With the launch of Launcher7 (a Windows Phone 7 style launcher), I began making some icons to put on my homescreen. I decided to put the icons on the net and make them available for everyone.

Head over to micon.prismapixel.com to check them out. More to come.
Love the contribution and I dont mean to criticize but they could definitely use some work for sure! I happen to make icons all the time and they need work put some more time into them good luck fellow icon designer! To much of flat standard box icon use some beveling maybe or a glow effect or something original.

I know the icons are simple. Verrryy simple. That's the point. They are for the Launcher7 Windows Phone 7 style launcher, hence the simplicity. I do plan to add more icons in other styles later. The icons that are currently available are ones I made for my personal use with Launcher7 (in keeping with WP7's simplicity) and I just thought I'd share. I do appreciate your support though and thanks for the feedback.
Very nice, waiting for it. The normal App-Icons are ugly in the Launcher7.
If you're like me and the white of sites hurts ya, might like grey text on black. You can use Stylish with XDA - High Contrast style to change it. If you do that you'll see the text is yellow but you can edit it and use #736F6E everywhere you find #FFFF33.
I know off topic and outa left field, but know some others like dark themes too:
Stylish - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/
XDA - High Contrast = http://userstyles.org/styles/24695/xda-high-contrast
(All credit for style goes to sickbox)
PS, side note, if width requires you to use bottom scroll bar, change width in style. I changed it from 1200 to 1000 and worked perfect.

That is pretty awesome actually
Nice! But I prefer Blue
So mine's a little weird...anyone know what's going on with this?

The main background of the website is right (black) but the forums are still their original background color with some text colors changed.
I'm running FF 4.0.1 right now.

There are 11 instances of #FFFF33 to replace with whatever HTML colour you choose. In vBulletin each little section is controlled by a command so if you skip that section, you'll end up with it being white or whatever colour it was before.
And by all means, experiment with different colours. If you wanna change the body or boarder to a different colour than black all you have to do is find the colour you want and change it, just make sure you put "!important;" (without " marks) to override the style native colour
