Hello!!!
I was searching in ebay and i found this:
[link] http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....sPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_2218wt_1139 [link]
I was thrilled at first 2430Mah!! It could't be.. However i thought that there may be drawbacks.. If anyone knows more can he tell me if to buy one?
Something else. If the battery is fake could it break the phone?
Thank you for you time!!
Buy it.
Made in Japan with 2 year warranty. Looks good to me.

You might want to head over the accessory section and do just a little search, you should learn a lot about this battery, there is a full hread with feedback already waiting for you ...

Just got this battery, took ages to charge (a good sign), so far the battery is performing really well, early days tho yet, lost 20% charge at work today, normally, its at least 30 - 40%

These batteries have been shown before to have far less charge than advertised. it might even be less than the stock battery...
Never trust the advertised mah unless its an official battery or if someone has done real testing on it.
The seller doesn't have a very good feedback for his batteries so I would avoid!
These batteries are made in China, they have had the Japanese writing added because people think Japanese cells are better than Chinese ones and they will sell better, stay away they are bu11sh1t.
Also if you are interested its impossible to fit 2430mAh of cells into the same formfactor as the original battery.

exactly. at least with current tech. we do have an official 1800mah battery that fits (actually its from SGS2 epic 4g) but even that is .5mm thicker.
2430 is 62% more than stock.

Generally these batteries are of very bad quality and slowly slowly u will start noticing battery life getting low and low day by day. Buy one which has many reviews and are all good. And buy one which is made by a renowned company . Search about any company you buy from, at Google.
P.s. Buy from a Korean company.

I highly doubt you will get the usage that it's said to bring. These cheap batterys are often dangerous and will turn out to be worse than your stock battery. Trust me if you value your handset I wouldn't use one of these.
Warninig - fake.
First of all: the weight: original SGS battery is 34g. So, if replacement experimental platinium super-hyper 3000Giga Ah battery will be lighter - it's a fake. And, it IS lighter.
Second, this and similar issues are and were widely discussed in Accessories:CLick and Click 2
Third, as you may see, both referred by me links contains the DIFFERENT ebay seller who:
- changed his eBay nick from ecell_accesorize to e_cell;
- in both cases is claiming that his stuff is located in Manchester, UK
- is completely untrustworthy, as he buys his eBay feedback. Please take a look on Buying eBay feedback announced thanks to NiTroGenious
- please read carefully both given by me threads. You will find that there is commonly negative feedback from testing: the positive feedback in relation to 1939mah battery was given by... none, and in case of 2430mah battery thread, the positive feedback was given by peoples referring to 1800mah PolarCell battery only.
Looks promising? Interested to waste your monies? Well, you're welcome then

i have never ordered from this site but for a battery with nearly 2x the power storage for £14.98 + post seems a pretty good deal to me will be Pre Ordering and will post a mini review of the battery once I have had it going for a day or 2
Nice find. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in this. Any idea what the battery cover is made of? I'm spoilt by the metal cover already.
The official HTC extended battery is downright ugly. Though if you don't care about the aesthetic look of your phone, having 2200mAh does sound good.

why cant they bring out extended battery that is normal size??? lol
i'd like to see a "mega" battery with a stepped design that goes all the way to the bottom, and has 6000mah. for trips, camping, etc. add a solar panel to it even better.
I'll be waiting closely for the review on this battery. Keep us all posted!
the official htc battery 2200 mah at price of 49 usd, this one is only 14 pounds, it is maybe unusable, isnt it?
yea - 2200mAH would be an option - my HD2 drains the battery too fast - less then 1 day the battery keeps my HD2 on life,...

This is really nice. I would definitely go for this official battery once its out there. No matter what size my HD2 will have afterwards the cover is definetely an eye catcher on the top.
Or Spend an extra fiver and get a cradle with it, able to charge both phone and spare battery. Not Bad value for £19.99
I can't post links (new member) but it's on the same website. Here is a screencap of the web link.
I'm ordering this at the end of the month so will post about it soon.

But the whole point is that if you are out and about you don't have access to a cradle! And if you are using your HD2 in the car for satnav, it still drains slightly as most chargers do not supply enough power to run the program and recharge the machine. Hence the bigger battery is very useful. Also, I do not want to be regularly taking the back off to replace the battery so a spare is not for me. The phone is just not designed for it, unlike my cameras which make it easy to swap batteries.
I do think that the fold out stand on the HTC big battery is a piece of ridiculous style over function. How long before that breaks, and who is likely to use it - the phone is a handheld, after all. I have never thought - "oh i wish i could prop this up on something on my desk".

I think you could argue that it is function rather than style. AT worst, function AND style. Definitely not style over function.
I for one think this feature would be great when travelling on a train/plane and you want to watch a tv program or movie on the handset.

The more I look at it the more legit it seems .. Although I'd still want a proper response from HTC on this one. It would be great if someone who already has a HD7 would ask their mail support and paste it over here.
if you google for the part number:35H00143-01M most german/european pages told me 1230mAh.
could be the stock one.
anyway looks suspenseful.

Unfortunately no. In order for them to squeeze the size on this they had to change up the battery size. I have my sources and so far none of them can actually put their hands on anything larger than the OEM battery so far. The ones advertised are not A Grade 1230mAH batteries.
If my sources can get a hold of them I am a direct importer/manufacturer of Cell Phone Accessories. I might try for a group buy. Air Freight from China is not cheap for small orders. I do not advertise here due to the fact we sell to national retailers and have never setup to handle small quantity items. We are toying with the idea at the moment.
If I find something I will post. I might start a group buy on something for the HD7's. Manufacturers are starting to get the molds completed on this phone from what i have been told.

Read the post above yours. You can be told all you want. It has been proven that batteries even from top suppliers are not as good as some of the OEM at a lesser mAH. Since I am in the business I have already asked by agents in China.
Search for it. I am sure Seidio or the likes will produce something soon. there is not a lot of room in the battery bay to make a larger battery than perhaps a 1500mAH before you have to get a custom back cover.
Not trying to rain on your parade just being realistic. The HD7 needs a bigger battery. It's battery life is not that great but its not that bad.
Hey,
I purchased a battery on Ebay for like 8$.
Shipped from Germany and claims to be genuine.
My tests:
Weight- Old genuine battery 33 grams, New battery 35 grams.
The stickers probably weigh a little bit so the battery supposed to weigh even less than 33.
Voltage- Old is about 4.078V at 100% charge, New is about 4.123V at 100% charge.
I don't really see a huge improvment in battery life although my old one 3.5 year old one.. Yet it's not worse for sure..
The old one has to be genuine since I got it with my device from a big cell phone provider store.
I uploaded pictures of them both. My old one (with stickers on it on the first image) and the new one (with the "original" sticker).
Thank you.
PS: scanning the QR on the old one gives "GH43-03441A+EB575152VU".
Scanning the new ones QR gives its serial number instead.
German quality should be good.

The seller also sells these batteries from Spain too.. So I dont know how it's done and how "German" are they..

Do the states and looks seem ok?
i've already had 3 batteries, the stock battery, then a polarcell and now a Anker, and as far as i can see i need to recharge every evening, so i can't say the autonomy is improving!
However, since i run CM rom, i feel that the battery consumption is huge, whenever i browse the internet while on 3g!

Hey,
Thanks for the comment and trying to help.
But TBH I didn't really get the point in your words and how it answers any of the questions.
Hey,
The one thing that's really throwing me off here is in the 3rd to last picture, which shows the top of the battery - 3 small grooves instead of 2.
To compare and see whether there is any variation I did a check with both my S3 batteries and they're identical at the top. I can't get hold of my mother's Galaxy S right now so I can't compare how her batteries look (one was bought recently and the other was from 2010).
However I'm thinking that a genuine battery would look identical at the top as well.
Hope that helps, but someone with a better knowledge of these batteries will be able to tell you more.

and has the 3 patches on the bottom edge.
your new battery looks close enough to me, it looks good, it fits the phone and it works.
the question I see is for $8 does it matter if its a fake?
(not really helpful in identifying a fake, just my opinion)

i've had my share of batteries, and they are all the same as far as battery life in real conditions is concerned!
The interesting part in your pictures is in fact the manufacturing date! Since it reads that it was manufactured in 2014, maybe the differences come from a manufacturing process that has changed (improved?) over time. At the very least you could consider yourself lucky that they did not ship you a 2010 battery, because i don't think batteries do age well.

Did you mean "the buttom" insted of "the top"?
Because if you are talking about the picture with the buttom of the batterires where you can see 2 patches on one and 3 on the other, then it's the buttom of the battery.
The one with 3 patches is the original one and the one with 2 is the new one.

Why is your battery so worn out? lol
And about the poor brod, fakes come in all kinds of shapes and qualities.. Who knows what kind of battery she bought..
Plus I dont think batteriess just tend to explode for no reason.. Extra heat would be a good sign for a risk of explosion.. As long as the battery is cool as the original and works as the original, I don't see any reason why it would do any damage.
I just want to find out if the battery is real cuz it's interesting to me. I wont throw it away if it isn't. It works just fine and cool.

Why don't you simply ask the vendor to attach the guaranty of Samsung to the package. This is the only way you will know for sure if it is the real deal.
As far as i am concerned for things like that i always go for the real deal (i.e avoid Chinese products at all costs) even if it means paying an extra buck, because you know i don't have no spare legs!

I dont know.. I think that if Ebay sellers had any papers considering the battery they would add it.. I dont think they have any..
And all products are made in china.. Doesn't matter how much you pay for them.. You can't avoid it.
Again, batteries dont explode without a warning and genuine ones are not safe from exploding either..

You have blatantly not used search button before creating this topic. Gold batteries and other after market batteries have already been discussed on many occasions. There just isnt any need for another topic just to repeat same things.
They're fake capacities and bags of sh1t!
^ exactly, stay away from these. Capacity number is made up, and in a number of tests I ran in the past, I wasn't even able to get 2400 mAh out of these.
Not good
It's a cheap Chinese products. So how good can it be?
If you're still looking for a good battery, search Ebay for "deep stretch" it will be a red battery. Best battery I have ever used, and I get one for any phone I use.

If I were you I would try a top-rated seller on ebay for a good chance that the battery is genuine or brand new. If something goes wrong, you can ask for a refund. But this one seems just fine for me and it doesn't cost so much to take a risk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Origina...325604?hash=item4d5576b864:g:JL4AAOSwhQhY14qc Edit: I bought this item before a month to replace my battery after 2 years of use and its great!Works fine and it is genuine I can assure you about it.

Months ago I was referred to this website. Please note I've no experience with them, but I was referred to them from this forum.
I ended up buying the Beltron OEM compatible on eBay. If you're not getting OEM (most "OEM" batteries sold online appear to be fake), at least get one with some sort of brand name with a reputation to protect.

In any case I'm quite happy with the Beltron. Been using it for over a month and lifespan seems just as good as the original. Not having the problem some people have with replacements where the phone won't charge over 50%.

All "OEM" batteries online are fake... even the one from rounded.com.

Why do you say that? Do you have a better suggestion?

If I were you I would try a top-rated seller on ebay for a good chance that the battery is genuine or brand new. If something goes wrong, you can ask for a refund. But this one seems just fine for me and it doesn't cost so much to take a risk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Origina...325604?hash=item4d5576b864:g:JL4AAOSwhQhY14qc

Did you measure it's capacity using something like AccuBattery? I bought this one and its capacity was close to 2300mah when it had to be 2700.
All in all, I'm at a total loss where to buy a battery that doesn't suck

AccuBattery detects it as 2700mah. Performance is still as good azls OEM after 1 month.
In also bought this as a backup:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MZ28CMP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_KFK12zGtt9ENR
I have not tested it but I inspected the label very carefully and it looks legit.

Guaranteed its counterfeit . Suspected mine was fake and unwrapped the battery. Mine was padded with some thick paper to make it thicker. Was really 2200mah.
Google or LG need to sell replacement parts.
Thousands of phones end up in landfills because we can't replace the battery.
Did anyone find any reliable battery seller?

I bought that one and the app accubattery says that the estimated capacity is 1850mah... That's worst than my original 2 years old battery...
I don't recommend it.
I have ordered an original battery from our spare parts suppliers at work.
If I open the nexus already, because of the new 4GB Ram boards, then I exchange the ~3 years old battery with the same.
anyone can't post link with a good battery quality ? Thank's lot.
I allready buy an OEM battery on ebay, but it's bull****.
I can use my phone just 5h00 !

I bought this one and AccuBattery says it's 2700mAh, don't know if that means anything or not in terms of credibility. It looks authentic on the outside ( I noticed looked the same as the one I had when replacing it ) but I did not inspect carefully, haven't properly tested to see how long it lasts but I think it charges fully, I will test it tonight/tomorrow to tell you if it sucks or not.

edit1: The battery charged to 100% , it seems to really be 2700mAh. Testing SoT now, seeing how long it lasts while playing a youtube video at 1080p with maximum brightness.
