[Q] Age of Defenders - G Tablet Themes and Apps

Has anyone tried Age of Defenders on a Gtab yet? I installed yesterday, and it was beautiful, for about 5 minutes. It just locked up, but the Gtab was still able to kill it without a hard reset. I rebooted and tried it again, same thing. The game runs smoothly for about 5 minutes, then just locks and I get the 'force close or wait' button.
Im running the latest Calkin+Clemsen ROM, and everything else seems to be running smoothly. Is anyone else having trouble?

Gameboid problem?

Hey, I'm loving my MTS so far, really nice phone. I downloaded most of yongzh's emulators, and it's working great
Problem is, on Gameboid, the emulator seemingly randomly stops and takes me back to the ROM selection screen(or sometimes just resets game). I've tried 2 different GBA bios images. This happens on just about every game I've tried.
Anyone else experience this? Any solutions?

Sorry to here that pal, seems to be working fine for me,i play it all the time, hope they make a game grip for it.
i actually cant even play a game. with gameboid, snesoid and gensoid none of them save my settings(so gameboid can never find the bios file). I e-mailed the dev about it. i think hes looking into it.
Thanks for the replies
And when I set the location of the GBA bios image, it saves that setting fine. The emulation itself is excellent- I was surprised how good it was, actually- except it just randomly stops(doesn't force close- takes me back to ROM selection screen). Even weirder, when this happens it pops up the "Gameboid is running" notification as if I had left the emulator running and went to the home screen. The Nesoid and Snesoid emulators do not have this issue, which baffles me all the more.
Funny you should mention settings not saving, though. My Random Ringtones app will not save the ringtones I have selected in my playlist. After I put a check mark in all of them, when I go back later the check boxes are all cleared. This problem's not as important to me as Gameboid though. I hope it gets fixed
This is not a MTS issue, when i was on my G1 it took me like 4 tries to get the Bios to work correctly. I'm thinking its just an issue on the app itself.
I just tried it on my G1 and I'm having the exact same problem(emulation exiting randomly back to ROM selection screen) >.>
So Jerzeeloon and mylostlonelysoul, since you guys have had success getting this to work correctly, think one of you could PM me?
I have the same problem of randomly returning to the ROM selection menu.
If you like at the Gameboid app in the Marketplace the developer put a note saying "NOTE: I am trying to fix the crash on HTC Legend and MyTouch Slide!"
He's updated and the issue is, indeed, resolved! I've been playing Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance for the past week and enjoying it immensely. This emulator can go full speed on the Slide almost with no frame skip! Lovin in

Dungeon Defenders - network error

Tried to run Dungeon Defenders. It will load from the Market so that is good. The intro screen loads. But normally it checks that you are on wifi before loading patches. Unfortunately on the nook it pops up an error message about the network and being unable to reach the host.
I know it isn't the network since it works fine on my droid x. Oh well having that would be kinda cool.
Anyone know a way around that issue?
Where does your problem appear? I get the title screen, unreal screen, game spy screen, intro video, menu, I can play locally, internet gaming I can select a character and then it asks to login into my gamespy account. I don't have one and I really don't want create one. As far as i can tell it works.
I installed the came a couple of weeks ago and then uninstalled it because i did not like it but I never removed the data from my sdcard. After I read your post I reinstalled and it still works. Keep in mind this game wants to download 600 MB. So if your nook goes to sleep and yourwifi turns off you could have issues. What sucks is that it was $6 wasted since the market refund policy is now 15 minutes. Google really needs to change that again. It took 1.5 hours before I could even play the game in order to try it. I have a 40Mb/s internet connection so the problem was the servers that provide the additional contend that needs to be downloaded.
Same exact thing happened to me.
Go here: [wont let me post a link] Go to the Dungeon Defenders main website, go to the forums and then to technical support, there will be a thread at the top that says ANDROID USERS: Solutions for anyone having installation problems of DunDef:FirstWave! and it will have a link to instructions on how to get it to work.
It runs for you? I got all of the data downloaded but then i crash during the loading screen
Well I'm not sure if it was the update to the program today or my reboot but in any event today it downloaded fine. Actually seems to run reasonably well although the interface is different on the NC then it is on the droid x. On the droid you move with a little joypad, with NC you click where you want to move to and the character moves there. Not quite sure how the game works as I didn't really play it much but it is bright and colorful and seems to run pretty good.
If a network error occurs, just click ok and then click on the dungeon defenders icon again, it will start where it left off and most likely fix itself. I've got Dungeon Defenders running perfectly and everything works. I was surprised at how smooth it was on the NC. You can enable the joystick in the options, and it is probably the only way you can do well at the game. I have never had a crash and rate it 9/10 on the NC (not my rating of the game, of how the nook runs it). There are millisecond hang-ups I would expect to see on any platform, but nothing bad.

Nexus 6 5.1 issue with real racing 3

Closes after the EA logo with no error. Tried to clear data/cache reinstall nothing works. Using tmobile nexus 6 and i sideloaded 5.1 OTA. Anyone else having this issue?
Did it ever work?
nope. it doesnt work on 5.1.
Didn't work on 5.0.1 either.

I thought I was being blocked by real racing 3 because I did hack that game to get cars and cash. I'm just curious is everyone that's having issues hacked rr3 as well. I'm just curious??
I just tried it on my Nexus 6 running an Android 5.1 Test version of the ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3005747 and it crashed my phone immediately when trying to launch.
I've never hacked the game and last played it on my stock Nexus 7 (2013 WiFi) before it was upgraded to 5.x. I just now tried to play the game on my Nexus 7 which is still stock and unrooted, but is now running Android 5.0.2. The game has been showing me notifications quite regularly, tempting me to play, but I grew bored with it after I bought a PS4 and Thrustmaster T80 wheel & pedals.
Anyway, when I launched the game, it was stuck at the EA logo screen for a while, so long that Android popped up a "not responding" dialog. I told it to wait and a short time later it started downloading a 490 MB update package. After the update package completed, the game ran normally and showed me what is new... Then it downloaded another 18 MB update... Then another 7 MB update, and yet another 6 MB update! Then I watched a video to try to earn free gold, until it said I had to install another game to get it. Then I tried to play a time-trial race, and it had to download another 31 MB update. It was starting to get ridiculous, but I was finally able to play a race... Wow, they show ads now while the race is loading and while you pause; I don't remember seeing that before. The sound and music don't work. I confirmed my media sound volume was not low. The servicing is now automatic and forced? That's bizarre. I remember when you could individually service each component like tires, or brakes, independently from repairing crash damage. That seemed a lot more realistic. But perhaps it didn't result in as much in-game virtual-currency transactions from those too impatient to wait.
Anyway, now I remembered why I quit playing this game. They should rename it to "Really Annoying Racing 3" that would be more Realistic...
Even though it seems to work on my tablet running Android 5.0.2, I've uninstalled it. I also removed it from my phone as it didn't work anyway.
I'm gonna go ride one of my sport bikes now.
I prefer GT racing 2 myself.
I am experiencing the same problem after updating to 5.1.
I'm running latest chroma build and my first thought was: maybe it's related to the kernel. So I flashed latest ElementalX. I managed to play one match and after that the game crashed. Damn that's annoying...
Stops after the logo load.

I have the nexus 6 pure and it does the same thing. I can get to the race but then it sends me back to the home page. Totally shuts down. It let me race once and that was it. It worked before the update to 5.1. Thanks.

[Q] ME176C keeps rebooting

Hi!
I have an Asus ME176C, it had Android 4.4 on it and a few days ago, I did a factory reset. Everything went fine, first time setup, it's working, cool. After a few minutes, I got a notification about system update, which was strange, because I had the latest one 30 minutes earlier, before the reset. Even stranger, it wasn't a simple firmware update, it was the Android 5.0 update. I've heard nothing about it, Google still can't find anyhing about it and as I said, when I checked for updates, nothing has showed up and now all of a sudden, it's here. Alright, I was pretty happy, updated. Update went fine too, now I have a Lollipop and everything is working.
Now here comes the fun part. After 8-10 minutes of more intense using (and I'm not talking about an hour of 100% CPU usage, just not a stand by state, you know), the app crashes and the tablet restarts. Maybe it has something to do with the Intel GPU, because it happened only when I was playing games (Real Racing 3, CSR Racing and The Room Two) and was watching stream with the Twitch.tv app, though there were no problem, when I was watching videos on Youtube or somewhere else. My other idea was overheating, but on 4.4 I used to play much more than this 10 minutes and it doesn't even feel extremely hot.
Does anybody has any idea? Maybe Lollipop is not compatible (yet?) with Intel chipsets?
Edit: Spotify made it restart after 15 minutes. Not related to GPU, not hot at all. What could cause this?

Performance Question

Hey guys,
This may seem like an odd scenario but I bought my tablet months ago to game on it specifically for Clash Of Clans. Everything worked well up until this morning. I was making breakfast and realized that there was an optional update so I performed the update. I then accidentally dropped my tablet in the kitchen which landed on my kitchen mat (it also has a case). When I sat down and launched the newly updated game I am experiencing incredible game lag. Almost like the game is performing at 10 fps. I looked at Game Tuner and made sure everything was turned all the way up. I restarted the device multiple times, uninstalled Clash and reinstalled it three times. More reboots etc.. I even installed an earlier version of the game but I am still experiencing the choppyness.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do next? Did my drop in the kitchen cause the tablet to under-perform and possibly break or is this merely a software issue with the update? Can I force the game to go into some high performance mode? Definitely not how I wanted to start my morning!
Thanks in advance.

It appears that the issue was stemming from a low battery (around 35%). I came home to a fully charged system and there is no lag.
As long as it didn't crack, you should be fine.
You're right about the battery, I believe the processor begins throttling down at low battery
That's a Marshmallow battery saving feature. When you get to about 40% it starts turning off cores. Perfectly normal! My phone becomes noticeably slower when power dips. It's a bit annoying.
I think this also happens in lollipop (5.0.2) as well. Mostly around 35%...
