thanks u
there beautiful, I like them. Thank you, cannot wait to see your next stuff.
next stuff will be a iconset installer for cht
it will make a programmgroup in the startmenu with the iconset so u are able to use different icons in cht and in the startmenu and u can choose the programs, iconset and install location and it will generate the shortcuts
but now i need a programlist of the most common installed ones
here are the first icons of the transparent iconset
and a few more

very promising! thankyou very much. Its any option to have unframed icons? With CHTtweaks i can easily change icons frames in cht (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=992957&page=34), so it could be a good combination.
there will be a unframed version of the quicklinks stateindicators and program icons but first i need to get a bigger programlist before i make the other styles
just write for which progs u need a icon

I made, for my personal use, a mix of the Samsung Black theme made for Omnia2 and the GlossBlack by m.carroll, along with some customs images made for me by Vostradamus.
I liked the glossy bars and selectors of the GlossBlack by m.carroll but at the same time I wanted to keep the black background of the default Omnia2 theme.
Maybe someone else may like the full black theme, so I decided to post it here too.
GlossRealBlackTheme
Details:
- VGA and WVGA only
- WM 6.5 only
- black background in any application
- glossy taskbar mirrored from the original by m.carroll (glossy effect on the right side, so to reduce "problems" if you using any apps like WKtask or Indibar)
- item selectors with glossy effect in blu to be readable on the black background
Installation: after installing the cab, you have to select the theme from Start->Settngs->Today and click ok.
Important1: even if many people tested it already without any problem, this is my first theme (and second cab^^) I ever made so I don't assume any responsability if you have any problems with it
Important2: some applications don't support a black background and will still show the text in black too (so nothing can be read), for example older version of SKtools (newer versions have been fixed)

Vostradamus for his custom glossy blue selector items, black glossy up/down arrow background and the modified m.carroll taskbar
Special thanks:
Vostradamus for being so patient with my requests every time^^

The taskbar icons aren't related to the Theme.
You need to install the taskbar itself: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520132

Okay, thank you
It's unistallable right?
bravo bravo thanks
I made this theme out of frustration - all S2U2 skins I could find had fancy clocks and sliders but I was looking for something clean and simple that would give all the attention to the wallpaper.
It's a modified version of TPRO for S2U2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467435, so with all the new icons it's going to look great on HTC WVGA devices such as the Touch Pro2, Diamond2 or HD2.

INSTALLATION:
Extract S2U2_-_Theme_File.zip on your decktop and Load the theme file S2U2_-_Clean_and_Simple.s2u2 from S2U2 Settings > Themes
OR
1. Extract S2U2_-_Clean_and_Simple.zip to your desktop and copy lang.ini and gfx folder to S2U2 folder on your Device/Storage Card (you need to replace some files)
2. in S2U2 Settings go to Information > Clock Font Folder > clock\
3. in S2U2 Settings go to Appearence:
Topmost Curtain - check
Top Curtain - Float
Bottom Curtain - uncheck
Curtain Opacity - 32
Text Shadow - off
Text Size - Smallest
A very beautiful skin! Congratulations! It looks very elegant! ;-)
Outstanding. I like this theme alot. Particularly the clock. Should feature my absurd amount of wallpapers quite nicely. Thanks.
edit: The sliden.png is off center when used with the slider in the middle. OK by me, I use the slider only. Also, there are no matching 'A' 'P' 'M' files for the clock. Clock will be out of alignment if set to display AM, PM. Great simple skin. I like it alot.
Very Nice Skin
Thanks for sharing
Will it also work for other resolutions?
Any chance of a QVGA version?
Nice and Clean nice edit
Hi LeCiel, first of all many thanks for sharing your great work. But a pity that it only works for VGA. Like PayandDie and Emrulez, I would like to ask you if could perhaps create another one for QVGA resolution. I am willing to donate .
Thanks.

Shouldn't be much work. I don't have a QVGA device anymore so you'd have to be a tester and report back I'll get to it when I'll have some free time
perfect look on my HD2.. tq sir.

Yes, It is for all resolutions.
How many plugins are supported by the skin? I see no support for cComm, cFacebook, Coffice ect ect ...
great skin proves it on a HTC Touch XL
I have a version that I haven't uploaded. It has my two plugins included. JMLLauncher and the Titanium Calendar, Pictures and Music. I could possibly upload it as well as work on some other plugins.
Okay, so I got inspired to do this:

}
...after looking around in this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761517
I especially liked the cleaner looking themes, but wanted something even more streamlined. So I started by doing the following:
I thought that the samurai wallpaper was awesome, so I found it via Google here:
http://www.outlawdesignblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/samurai_me_by_patleeart.jpg
..and hit it with the sepia filter in Photoid. That darkened it up enough for me.
The dock I found on Deviant Art here:
http://kimboprice.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ydmvn
...and ran it through GIMP. The only part that remained was the app drawer icon. I made the borders on the app drawer icon bolder, erased the rest and made new text icons and the simple white upper border.
For clock I used the DigiTrans clock skin for Weather & Toggle Widget that is available for free on the Market, and modified the widget background (simple white border and clock underline with a 25% transparency), AM icon and PM icon in GIMP.
To use any of it, just put the clock skin ZIP on your SD card in the appropriate folder and select it through the widget skin wizard in your Weather & Toggle Widget settings menu; the wallpaper is a no brainer; for the dock, using LauncherPro select preferences>appearance>dock background>custom image and choose it from the gallery, then use the included blank icon for the app drawer, phone and task manager apps.
There are two docks in the ZIP, a black one for lighter wallpapers and a white one for darker wallpapers.
Mods, please feel free to close this thread or remove any of my attachments if anything is not in line or if I've left out any credits. Everything I used was found on the web or in the market for free, except Weather & Toggle Widget which folks will have to download from the market on their own.
Hope some of your guys will like this theme.
Hi,
I,m loocking for a way to change the taskmanager Icon for a 21XXX Build (right/top) to a black Icon. I use a gtx white theme and the standard white icon is not good to see.
thx, Alex

Thanks,
but where can I find this Icon? It themes this icon is not in the windows directory as .png or gif etc.
Use IconHelper;
http://www.pocketpc-freeware.net/graphics-painting-tag/iconhelper-download-16590.html
With it you can use any *.exe (icon) or *.gif cq *.png
Success with finding the right one,
Senax
It seems that other people have the problem also.

Changing taskbar icons in using colours instead;
probably not for your phone (too old), though I'm using it WM6.1Professional;
[SKN] Tsowen Taskbar Collection
though this might work (WM6.5.x);
Taskbar WM6.5.x work in progress
Let me (us) know if the latter one works for you. I'm using Tsowen Taskbar and some other ones..
Success,
