Curious what browsers everyone is using? I was using dolphin Mini but switched when all the privacy issues came out. Now I use skyfire but it isn't as fast.

What privacy issues you referring to? Got a link to an article or anything?
Pretty sure my pops is using Dolphin HD, if this is a serious concern I need to tell him to uninstall it.

Dolphin HD. Fast, love the Tabs, and also the fact that there is an Exit feature allowing the app to be closed and not hanging around in the background using data and/or battery.

went back to stock. opera mini is a pain when it comes to downloads. I kept trying to install a file and it tried to make it a .zip when it was an .apk. Always ended up using the stock one anyway for downloads,

Has anyone got the update yet? Is it just for phones or will honeycomb devices see it in the android market too?
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App

I believe you can only join an already started hangout. You can not start one using the app.

I can confirm that you can only join the hangouts. You can't start them.. That's lame.. Tested it on the Atrix and Xoom..

Instead of clicking on the link, try right clicking on the link and click "save as." That should work.

I have been having this problem as well. Using Dolphin HD through the XDA premium app. But...if I click to open in a browser page then I can download fine.
I've noticed that I only have problems downloading from an app when the link has been shortened.

A Screenie to explain
So, I am still having issues, even with the download all program. (very cool btw) so I took a couple of screeshots to show exactly whats happening so someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong here.....
The first shows (obviously) the link I'm clicking on via the XDA Premium App on my phone, and the second shows what happens after I click the link.
Thanks for bearing with me on this all. I appreciate it.

Not sure, I click on the link in the Tapatalk App and it starts downloading. It must be an issue with the XDA app. I don't use the XDA app so I can't check it out but try going through all the settings on it and see if there are any options for links or downloads.

It looks like you are having internet connection issues. I have been having issues connecting to the internet via wifi. try turning off wifi and see if it works then.

I just turned off my wifi and connected via 4g same problem. If I open the link outside of the xda app, (in Dolphin) it works fine...
I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong.

I am wondering if anyone is having issues with any FB apps while running BO. Up until yesterday when I rooted my phone again I was using Friendcaster but now I can't access it via the app or even through my browser/dolphin. Is anyone having similar issues? The FB for Android app sucks since their updates so I don't use that one anymore.

I've come to the conclusion that FB only works on a 4g connection. It isn't a connection speed issue since wifi doesn't work. A poster in another thread says it also works when they're down to a 1x connection.
I found that if I am really close to my router then I could get on Facebook. Otherwise I have to go to 3g. it's pretty weird.

I was using chrome from day one. Ended up using the stock internet browser to watch a flash video. It was much faster. Has anyone else experienced this as well?

I've been using chrome since it syncs with my pc. I've been thinking about switching to stock for the flash support, but iono, I'm so used to chrome
Yeah chrome has been my go to browser since day one as well. Stock browser seems really nice, but I just love chrome too much. Maybe I'll rotate them... But probably not.

There are many things like this the stock browser does better than chrome including flash.

How were you able to get flash working. Tried watching a flash video today using the stock browser and it kept telling me I needed flash installed
Edit:
Yup just I installed the latest flash version from the thread and nothing

Chrome, verry nice look, clean interface, fast and reliable sync.
An excelent browser!
disabled Chrome, don't like it, never have. I am currently using One Browser, very quick.
I really want to use Chrome, but I prefer the Android stock browser's tab management better, specifically that the browser closes when you close the last open tab. If this can be done in Chrome, I've never seen the option to do it.

Maxthon browser for me, it's fast in areas where I have bad data. And I always have bad data.
Chrome and the stock Internet browser are good for quick things.. But even telling it to give you the desktop site, it typically doesn't.
Everyone do yourselves a favor and try opera on this thing.
