Hey gang, I finally got the urge to create something simple and new. This is Frugal a new set of icons that I am making. I will be finishing this up and will release soon. I hope you guys will like it and let me know if this is worth posting before I go any further. thanks.

Nice johnny, I say go through with it.
They look a lot like your digital clock mods which can be found on your deviant art page.. same kind of light on top of the "frame".. I like that !
Not sure about the white arc of light at the bottom right (external) corner, if you understand what I'm trying to mean... (who am I to criticize anyway ?? )
Excellent work anyway, I cannot wait the first release

thanks, I know what you mean. I like criticisim thats how we learn. I will change that or maybe just take it out completely. I had the digital clock in mind when I started this and thought that the clocks would look good with these icons. I have to tell ya, you have a good eye. thanks again.

Hey gang this the release of my latest project. I call it "Crystal" its suppose to be clear glass. I also included 256x256, 114x114,72x72 with the crystal base and I added only the 114x114 without the crystal base.
It took longer than I thought. Sorry. I hope you guys like them and let me know if you have any requests. thanks again and enjoy.

I love me some minimal wallpapers, so i figured I'd make some for personal use. I like them so much I decided to release them. Obviously these look best on HDPI (480x800) screens, and I haven't tested them out on any other screen sizes. Here is a sample of one in full resolution as the banner I made to show them off doesn't do it justice.

sadly i don't know what to tell you about that. In my experience, whenever I run into that issue I just look for another wallpaper. I'm thinking it has something to do with shrinking the image to fit the screens resolution. I bet you could mess around with the images in PS or GIMP and get them to come out looking better.
Gradient banding is actually caused from the screen not being able to handle all the colors so it makes one color close to each of the unidentified colors. Making a potentially awesome wall look like compete ****.
There is ways to correct it by adding noise,blurring and color overlays. But it takes me forever and sometimes i can't even get it right and it pisses me off to no end.

Best I could do to keep it the same way... if you have any specific photo you like to see let me know, but it's not easy to display the phone in such a small space.
