Hey guys, so whilst waiting around over in the HD2 Android forum for dansta34 to give us a new Team Bluedroid ROM to test I have been playing around with the Quicklaunch Widget and it is now ready for release. Firstly though I have to give thanks and credit where due.
Firstly and biggest shout goes to liamstears over in the DHD Themes forum as the mod is based off his latest reworking of the original widget which he has been doing for the RCMix team (and which Dan has been including in previous releases), and also for all his help in getting the flip clock moved and resized correctly (and for filling in the holes in my apk/xml skillset ).
Secondly to xiao4 over on DeviantArt for the amazing original Tick weather icon set which I have modded and used.
And finally to monbcn over on DeviantArt for his 'Black Background Set' which provided the inspiration for the shortcut backgrounds.

Sure, just on the white section when open or also on the shortcut backgrounds too? Which weather version do you want (Tick or Sense), and how transparent would you like it?

I wish I could use this widget, but I'm on an Epic 4G without sense, however could I perhaps be linked to the wallpaper in the second set of screenshots? It's very pretty.

i think that would be great idea. original bliss flip with original weather icons, but smaller clock and weather on the top right corner.
please make buttons more transparent when opened, maybe %50 or smth.

i guess as it is on the first page.
It depends on what Sense 3 bits are cooked in - it might work. Just push the apk to wherever your system apps are stored and reboot. If it works it will show up in your widget menu as Shortcuts & Clock.

So here goes nothing...
See what had happened was, I wasn't a big fan of light colored themes till I saw the gChrome and xInvert themes. Did a couple myself early in the JF1.5 platform but got too busy to follow up. I am not a themer by nature but I like to exploit aesthetics and visual enhancements where ever possible.
These two themes as soooooooooooooooo slick I couldn't make up my mind which I wanted, so as the name suggests I spliced the two together added a little sum sumn to get this..............

I will add a screen shot of the Launcher in a bit. The handle, as I said, is transparent faded into a misty white at the bottom... similar to the smorg launcher handle, without the white triangle.

The Gallery app is from gChrome... You may want to delete the shortcut on the desktop and re-add it. If that doesn't work, chances are the aerospace gallery is still in there somewhere so reflash the ROM and then this theme.
Oh, these backgrounds are not in the theme, if anyone wants them I can post them up...

Hey I'm armoredraven. I've been a G1 owner for almost a year now and have been part of the XDA scene for some time, so I've gained some experience with this. I have modified a few themes for myself before, but haven't decided to create and release my own until now.
I've started creating my first theme, |Continuum, and need some input before any release. I would appreciate it if you guys could go over the screenshots and give me some ideas or recommendations on how to fix or theme or make it better.
I'm currently using Cyanogen 4.2.9.1, but will be updating soon. I'll probably update this theme for CyanogenMod roms, but if someone wants to port it elsewhere, they can contact me later...
I could actually release a beta version, but I haven't really bug checked anything (although I haven't gotten a single force closure yet). Maybe I'll get two or three beta testers, so if you would like to do this, either post or PM me.
And please, don't steal my images without asking... Unlike a few other themes out there, I actually drew all of my files out in photoshop rather than just copying and editing preexisting ones. I'd gladly share, just ask first

WOW. I would say more, but my jaw is stuck on the floor. It looks absolutely amazing and from your todo list I can't see anything else that needs to be said. The only thing that I see from the screen is maybe changing the carrier name to a more visible color, but that is all. Your search widget looks stunning.

I think it's part of the theme, but your app drawer doesnt have titles for your apps... must for me sorry man... it would be fine for most apps, but there are a few that have random pics for icons, and i have to have the title to know what it is... but so far the BEST theme ive seen on here

its an option with the advanced launcher to remove the titles on the homescreen and another option to remove them in the app drawer. its up to the user whether or not it is done.

Yeah. I actually changed back now, because I was having trouble finding all my apps
Anywho... I made a couple changes:
-Fixed network provider text color
-Finished all framework-res status icons (I hand drew each in Photoshop to be all white)
-Added another outer circle to the analog clock opposite the minute hand one (solely for artistic effect)
-Shifted the "google" text in the search widget about 4 pixels to the right

Why dont you just download a Clean Template for Metamorph, and make it that way....
Anyway, this theme looks amazing, really sofisticated/modern, nice...

If you replace the normal launcher with the advanced launcher instead of including both you can use bettercut with it . If you include both then bettercut wont work with advanced launcher that's why I substitute it in all my themes... I'm an icon freak lol.

I have abandoned this for the time being. I have reverted back to a 1.5 firmware, as I found the 2.1 unusable for everyday use for me. There will be no more updates untill the official 2.1 firmware is out.
Something I threw together in a hurry. Some things are borrowed from other themes, something I made myself. Thanks to everyone I have borrowed from. You know who you are. None mentioned, none forgotten.
Made for VillainROM 3.4, but should work for alle ROMs based on the Eris leak.
Now also a build for VillainROM 4.0beta2. May work on Behnaams build as well, as they are pretty similar.

The battery widget and the calendar widget are both in the market, but they cost money. The clock widget is something I made myself, using the dial from another widget which I then resized to 2x2, and put some other hands on it. When tapped it goes to worldclock.

Thanx for the metamorph file, its not working though, it doesn't remove or replace the arc at all. Can you have another look at it?

Hi, love the theme. Just noticed an issue though. When playing music through the stock HTC app, you can normally skip tracks when the screen locks. However the section of the screen in blank in the theme. You have to unlock the screen in order to advance tracks. It works fine in the rom, only when flashed the theme.. regards Andy

yup, I noticed the same problem with the lock screen music. its like it is looking for missing graphics. also noticed that in the task bar, the eclair icon for HSPA network is still default to sense UI. I was wondering if you could make a metamorph release with just the task bar replacement? it is exactly what I'm looking for.

just want the homescreen bottom launcher bar but can't get metamorph file to work... error message saying .thm file is missing....
i extracted the files from the .zip the put on to sd card that way to see if it made a difference... however, it went through the motions as though it were updating and even said "theme applied"... but nothing happens... tried rebooting... tried reapplying multiple times... nothing is happening...
any ideas???

Installation Instructions:
Download the skin from the second post and place in onto your SD card. Using a program like Astro (or another SD explorer/package installer), install the .apk on your phone. (if you need help with this step, post your issues in the thread)
Navigate to the Personalize --> Skin menu; you should see a skin called "Glasskin" as an option. Hit the "Apply" button.
Wait for the skin to load on your phone and enjoy.
*To uninstall, navigate the the Personalize --> Skin menu. Make sure Glasskin is not currently selected as your skin, then hit you're phones menu button and select the delete option. Select Glasskin and delete.
Please use the thread to report any bugs, recommendations, or changes you think should be made so that I can fix them in future releases.

If you decide to change your wallpaper, I advise you to change it to something dark. The transparent nature of this skin makes it hard to read the white text of widgets over a very light wallpaper.

Super cool! I notice you have the Flyer in the picture, but the files are a bit different for the skins on the flyer and it doesn't work for that version of Sense 3.0. I wish I knew enough to modify, but I am stumped with the lockscreen bar and circle and the navigation bar on the Flyer. This is totally awesome on my Evo 3D,though!!!! Goes with my icons! Sweet!

It's not supposed to work on the flyer haha I was just trying to throw in some variation of sense 3 devices... I'll make a note about it later... Sorry if there was any confusion

If you have root you can edit the backgrounds of some of the options (such as weather) and change it to whatever you want as long as you use that lockscreen. It is not possible with a skin though

Great Theme
I found a small problem. When you put a new folder from the personalize section, the folder s scaled improperly. It is too small for the icons. The icons overflow outside the folder. Other than this small item, this great work.

OK buddy, Check this out if what you're talking about is this I already fixed it
if so, I will have some other optimize colors to fix then I will post here later on when I optimize something else
I also change the folder appearance (Mac OS)

I look foward to the enhancements you are making. The folder fix looks great and a lot better as compared to the standard folder icon. Fantastic work!
