Lets say i want to search "launchers" it finds everything, even themes, go launcher themes. I dont want go launcher themes but i want to list only home screen launcher applications,, adw, go, openhome, dxhome, espier, livehome.
How to search specific things in market?
Launcher -theme
You are still going to get a load of junk though. All apps that mention "launcher" in their description will show up.
How to search according to names of applications? Google is known to be number one search engine but in their market its different.
use online market.

I really like some of the Samsung widgets, but to not like the Touchwiz launcher. So, I installed Launcher Pro, which I vastly prefer. Unfortunately, now the Samsung widgets are not in the add widget menu.
Is there any trick I can do to get them back?
I'd also like to know this, the Facebook Stream widget was really useful, the stock one is awful!

Yeah that is the widget I want most as well.
It is the best I have seen for android so far that integrates both twitter and facebook. I tried out this one on the market called "Socialite", it is *OK*, but not as good as the Samsung one.
So i have to decide, do I want a decent integrated Facebook / Twitter widget, or do I want a decent launcher?
???
Does anybody have an answer to this? I myself like pretty much all the futures in TW - would mainly like to change the 4 icons on the bottom and maybe even have the ability to hide the notification bar.
Is there a way to incorporate TW samsung widgets into launcher pro for example?
Thanks
I suppose Samsung's widgets are tied to the Touchwiz Launcher and incompatible with other launchers
It's a pity because I really like the Accuweather Clock over the other available widgets. But LauncherPro is so much better than the Samsung Launcher, I can't go without a launcher that lets me hide apps from the app drawer due to the massive amount of crap it gets flooded with.
You can change the left 3 icons on the bottom (but not the Applications one).
Just go to the Applications screen and press Menu and choose Edit. Then, move the icons off and put another in place.
I'm pretty sure it's impossible. I wanted to do that but was told by different ppl it was impossible. Same goes for Launcher Pro widgets in Touchwizz (i prefere the LP ones vs the Samsung). They are tied to the launcher u use.
You could put Home Switcher on each of the home screens of TW and LP then just switch between them just like moving to a different page. Just an idea.
Thanks fro the ideas, sounds like it's a no-go for right now at least.....
One more thing, does launcher pro juice the battery as same as TW? And when I used launcher pro in the past, I really liked to use the option "hide notification bar", i think it gives it a cleaner look, but at the same time it won't notify me when i receive an email ( other than the sound), I did search this in the past with no luck, so is there a widget, icon, something that I can install that will show on the screen when I received email, when using LP?
Thanks
I use executive assistant but it is a paid app. Worth it I believe though.
All other launchers based on adw has option to hide icons. But Adw cannot.
Lets say i install several adw icons, they are all on my appdrawer. They are not usefull, i have to hide them. But Adw does not have this option. Why the developer
dont add this option to such a wellknown launcher, anyone know?

Probably when he was a child he attempted to hide a number of icons under his bed, however something went horribly wrong and several thousand people were killed in a horrible zeppelin accident due to his innocent mistake....or something like that.
Seriously, send the guy an email, post on his blog, something...ask him.
However if you have ADW EX you can do a sort of workaround by setting up Groups, and putting all the apps you don't like looking at into a single Group.
I think the developer just wanted it to be this way...kind of trying to be different from other launchers...
as for me, I use Titanium backup to get rid of all those crap software and icons...give it a try.
as tittle. any launcher that can divide out category same as lg home? i wan put and sepereta all d applciation.... any idea?
Hi gliew,
Adw launcher can be used. Here you can put your apps in catalogues. You just have to scroll left or right. It's not the same as the stock, but it helps, I think.
I hope I understood your question right.
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
Try GO Launcher Ex. It can make some sort of folders for you.
thanks for the reply. adw, gonna try it later. fo launcher, erm folder, not my choise, i wanna make a category actually. seperating all d application instead foldering.
any other launcher?
Catagories in the app draw?
That i use - Go Launcher has this plus seperate category for downloaded apps, arc launcher u can sort apps via last run, most used, alphabetical etc.
I think the SGS2 launcher has this functionality also.
-smc
You can try "All Apps Organizer Free" (see here).
No need to change the launcher : I use it to replace the drawer.
You can add categories as you want.
I like it.
I had a great emmc root but screwed up this morning by pushing the Home option and having it as the default. Now I can't figure out how to get back to the Zeam Launcher. Help.
Fixed it by finding another launcher and installing it.
The same thing happened to me. I keep a launcher apk in my dropbox so I can access it from the web interface if it happens to me again.
I use Nova launcher, and I can just access that through the app drawer (push vol+ and tap apps on B&N apps page). Then I can make it the home launcher again. I think Zeem is in the app drawing too, no?
Another way to go is to search for the Google Play app in the browser. Then click the Google Play link and have it open Google Play by default. Then you can either find another launcher (like ADW) or go into your apps there and open a launcher.
Title says it all! I have Layers Manager right now but it does not change my icons. What app(s) are good for doing such things?
Search play store for icons.
you may use Nova Laucher for icons change...
