Droid3, rooted, was running DarkDroid ROM, but giving Steel Droid (safestrap compatible) for a bit, about to download DNLA.
Dlna is required for hdmi

The way I sideload this apk it's: I put the downloaded apk in my dropbox folder on pc, then go to dropbox on Xoom, click on the apk it will download it and then ask's to install and you are done.
Other way it's with a file explorer.
I'm not rooted, yet........
It does work, but not well. My browser has crashed more in the past hour since installing it than the entire time I've had my xoom. I'm thinking that update from Moto may actually have some importantance lol.

No worries, with all the 3.0/3.1 tabs coming out I don't think Netflix will sit out and miss the market opportunity.

I am running Froyo (Calkulin+Clemsyn Ver. 5) and cannot get Netflix to work (tried both com.netflix.mediaclient-1.apk and netflix-new-mod2.apk). Any advice or link to a working Netflix apk would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Flashback 5.5 and got Netflix streaming. Just change the build prop and restart your tablet.
I flashed to 5.5 lastnight, downloaded netflix from the market and it played video in my que with no modification to the build.prop file.

Anyone know a work around/fix for the Bluetooth issue? I connected it to the speakers (via bt) and it seems like its a go but when i play any audio there is nothing coming out of the speakers. (the phone is also silent which it should be)

i do beleive you must be on ics leak only. 232 I think is the safest. Any higher you will not be able to go back.

Not sure if that's going to work but i do not have a dock to test with. My guess is probably not, i believe rag3 and blackhole roms are stock based so should work with those.

That is the ics leak or system version. Ics rom, and no hdmi, so no webdock. Any aosp rom will not have working hdmi.

That is one of the many ics leaks. To flash this rom, you just need to be on one of the leaks, i run the 232 leak, and i recommend using safestrap to flash.

Go back to your unsafe side and you should be on a stock moto build of ics where hdmi functions properly. Two roms I believe are stock ics based are rag3 and blackhole, sparkyman may have one out there too but can't remember at the moment. You can flash one of those in bootstrap on the stock side just so you're running a ROM and hdmi should function normally.
Got it installed on my husband's Bionic, runs great, but I just know he'll hate the font. Is there any way to change it? Oh, and the wallpaper with the black and white girl with the blue eyes and paint down her face, that you get when you apply the System Theme...where might I be able to get that for MY phone? I have a Rezound, so I can't install this ROM.
I just want a ROM with a working camera and higher than Android 2.0. This phone is just for games and pictures so I just want a ROM with 3 requirements

Gumy rom wifi don't work. I got Steel Droid 50 on right now I like it. Just searched 5.5 and found it. Going to flash it now. Is there anyway I can flash this verizon droid 3 to boost mobile?
