Z4 no root?

It wont install on the Droid 1 I picked up, anyone have any.client what's going on? Oh and its burning through batteries and its all extra laggy.

Try to use UniversalAndRoot or...Openrecovery.
Send from...PC

Yes, try using Universal Androot if you only want to Root the device.

Rom and root

I want to restart everything I want to find the best way to root 2.2 stock and I'm trying to find the best rom battery life is not an issue because I have 2 batterys Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App

The only way i could get root when i updated through Kies to the official Froyo 2.2 was with Super one click version 1.6.5

Help rooting

I just got the bionic today (had the revolution) and am trying to root. Petes method said its rooted but its not! Lol. Anyones else having this problem

I have to agree this is the only method that worked for me, I worked for 2 days and about gave up then stumbled across this method. Within a couple minutes I was done. In fact it went so fast I didn;t even beleive it worked intill I checked superuser....

How to set up adfree properly for my note.

Can anyone explain how to set this app up? I installed it but I'm still getting ads everywhere!

Daft question, but are you rooted?

Install. Open app. Select Boot normally. Allow super user permissions (need root obviously). Skip registration. Hit the top button (download and install hosts). reboot. Done

I'm having the same problem.
I just got my Note yesterday. Downgraded to 2.3.5, rooted using the DoomLord batch file, upgraded back to 2.3.6.
Titanium backup and other apps requiring root work fine.
AdFree doesn't give me any errors, and when I go into the app now it says I'm "good to go" and that I have the latest version.
I was using the app on my Galaxy S and it was working fine.
Apps that had no ads on my Galaxy S have ads on my Note.

What rooted apps you guys using and working.
I have lucky patcher working
Superuser
Adfree
And that's it.
Any suggestion and hope u guys have tested it to be working.

Greenify is a loved application in the root community. I use it on my phone, works great.

This belongs in the app section and there's already a thread started.
