Short answer: Yes, Odin3 One-Click will restore the bootloaders. Be careful.

Use Odin one click NOTHING ELSE. Googled for it last night. Top result was a captivate thread. Went back to 2.1, then did one click root and when I got to cwm I installed cognition rom. So much smoother! Ill wait for official GB whenever that may be.

Why? What's the problem with gingerbread? GINGERBREAD Is perfect for galaxy tab.

I want to revert back to froyo as well so I can get ext4.
This is not supported on gingerbread.
You need ext4 to support spacemoose1's honeycomb port.
I have gone back to froyo from stock gingerbread with overcome just for comparison purposes and now back again to gingerbread stock.
Just make sure that you take care to patch the froyo bootloader....

Hi can you pm me as i am on overcome gold and want to get back to gingerbread i am getting problems with still being on ext4 whats the root to get back to froyo safley.

Ext. 4 is supported by gingerbread the overcome gingerbread gold rom is running on the ext4 .
Yeah but you need to go back to froyo or u have crash issues. But you're right too.=)

Hello, I have only been on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 on this galaxy S, but would like to try froyo, as miss it from my HTC Hero days, so, whats the best froyo rom? and is it easy enough to flash/flash back?

Just wondering why are you missing froyo! Gingerbread has way better results. btw Darky's 9.5 is a good one.
Ok i am one of many who's stock is froyo kb2 so i know in the past alot of people had to flash back to stock 2.1 jf6 what rom is good for me links to and how to i am assuming odin ect..advice tips
