I have searched every post and followed every guide. And flashed pretty well every CDMA firmware I can find with no luck. Ok here is what I have. Tab would do nothing but the Samsung logo and then just a black screen with a vibration every few seconds. I finally got past that but still pretty screwed. I managed to flash the rom Samsung Galaxy Cubed with his old kernal. No the tab will load up, but a list of problems:
1. No verizon boot animation(no biggie)
2.No clockwork mod or recovery(thru the market app or power and volume)
when pushing the power and volume up I get a screen that stats power reset unknown command(something to that effect)
when using the market app I get suscess in bootstrap but when I push the recovery I go into bootloop
3.The tab will not leave airplane mode but will connect to wi-fi.
4.Under the system info for hardware and build number it stats unknown
I think that is most of it. I have a lot of experience with CMW, Sbf, flashing roms and all that good stuff with a droid x, but I am pretty noob with the whole tab. I try my best to support devolpers with buying apps and donations. So if anyone is willing to help a noob out I am more than happy to pay or help out in return in anyway possible. Thanks in advance.
Sounds like you need a new modem. see the modem thread.

The guys over in the I9000 forum might be able to help you a bit better... the Captivate is the US variant- we don't even have a physical home button so our procedures are a bit different

+1 to this, but if you are still here, which program did you download?
I assume because you're in this forum, you used the Odin one-click downloader (which is designed for the AT&T captivate) and even says "NOT FOR i9000" like a million times across the top. so if you're stuck in a boot loop with the AT&T logo flashing and then a black screen and then repeating forever, the last I checked that was the only thing you could do to actually brick your phone.
it is the only unresolved issue for i9000 phones until JTAG becomes an option. I believe the i9000 needs to use the physical home button for recovery/download, and because we don't have that, you can't get into those modes to repair the problem.
if this isn't what you did, then yes, head on over to the i9000 thread where they're more likely to have information to help out. they're also more likely to have the info on any potential fixes if it is what happened.
Thread moved to i9000 Q&A
download the new JH2 fix, which includes the new SPL to re-enable the 3 button modes
I'm new to sgs and android,so hopefully this is a noob problem and easily fixed and not something more complex.I've searched and read alot of posts and not found another problem similar,so maybe someone can help.
Got the phone recently and flashed Darkys v7.0 and very impressed by the rom.
Basically my incoming calls dont show up,when an incoming call happens,i get a vibrate and some sort of notification flashes on the screen for an instant then disappears, then my network signal drops out.
I've tried another sim and different service provider, same problem which indicates some issue with phone, have triple checked all my settings in call settings, answering is enabled.
I can make calls, sent and recieve sms messages and connect to net/mail via my 3g,so cant figure out whats going on.Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Gav
Hi!
Unfortunately, same thing here with me. First, I flashed 7,5 and the problem appeared. This mornig I put new rom 7.6 but still problem remains. Everything works, but incoming calls dont. Im trying to capture message that flashes quickly, but with no sucess...
SOLVED!!!
Factory reset did the thing. Calls are incoming as they should. (setings->privacy->factory reset)
Hope it will work for you.
Greetings from Croatia
Hey i have tried this and have possibly bricked my phone as all im getting is the Galaxy power up screen and nothing else, tried to get into recovery and nothing,ah well my android fun maybe over, might just get an iphone, seems a bit simpler for a knuckledragger like me
I really doubt that factory reset coud brick phone. Try to boot in recovery/download mode with 3button combination (hope you have it) and flash new ROM.

try to flash speedmod recovery on your phone, do the most recent stable version, once you get into recovery you can see if it truly is bricked, if you get the common SD error then it is bricked but if it's complaining about some data missing your still in luck.
check out what to do here....i posted about this a while back also if you want to look at my past posts.....

I had exactly the same problem; installed Darkys 7.5 after which I couldn't receive any calls anymore, did a factory reset and got bricked. 3button to recovery didn't work on my phone, but luckily I live close to a Samsung service center where they reflashed my phone.
I am curious what was causing this. If it is solved I would like to try the rom again, cause it looked great.

Now i never had the 3 way download button working or checked,i pretty much did CWM and flashed darkys right after buying the phone.
When i try to get into CWM all i get is the Samsung Galaxy S gt i9000 start up screen and nothing.
Thanks for your help
I have the same problem excecpt I flashed "leap in the dark". Will factory reset erase all my data? If so are there any other options
Its really pissing me off.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
i now decided to flash darkys 7.7
same problem
Alrighty. The other night, I had download mode. I updated to a new Kernal.
Today I try to access it, and I have:
POWER RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE.
Now, I've googled, and none of the threads really answer the question. What do I have to do to get into download mode to flash a new kernal?

It's all right. Nobody starts from 100 anyway. it's always 0. working up..
Hello guys, I am completely new to this forum, first post actually. I recently rooted my new Samsung Galaxy S2 and installed the latest Cyanogenmod7 for AT&T SGH-i777. Everything went fairly smooth and was not too difficult after hours of research. As I navigated the system I found some glitches and decided to go back to stock ROM. Being a noob, I think I installed the wrong Kernel while trying to revert. At this point, I am unable to do much more than get into clockwork mod recovery boot screen with power, up/down volume. While in the screen which is orange rather than blue before, up and down will navigate the options but tapping an option does nothing but reset back to the list. I can not reboot, power off or anything for that matter. I have been trying for hours to get into download mode and all I get is the Samsung Galaxy S2 and then a black screen like nothing has happened. For whatever reason the Samsung Boot screen says i9100 when my phon is SGH-i777 for AT&T. Not sure if what I am dealing with is a bricked phone or if I need some experiential knowledge within this forum to work magic. Any help with resolving this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any time given, Incloud!
Hope this is appropriate for this section.
We have a AT&T LTE 8.9 which I now deduce is a P7320 model. A year back when I got the 8.9, I rooted it, CWMed and installed a a AOKP ROM and it has been running great since. However, last week I swapped it for another device with my brother who decided I should put it back to the stock ROM so that he could ebay it.
Well with all the timeliness and hectic mode of the festive season, I failed to research thoroughly and flashed it a stock P7300/P7310 ROM. Which rendered it completely dead. It would not respond to anything, power/vol+, power/vol-, power/both vols, usb to pc, usb to wall with no charging icon e.g. Odin doesn't even see it. The only sign of life if that, is that it shows up as an error with QHUSUB_DLOAD in device manager.
Right now, I have the power button taped down to see if I can get anywhere draining the battery. You would think that Odin should at least see it? Is this the end of my tab?

First of all, is your tab booting to AOSP now ??
if not can you see the [Samsung Galaxy Tab Logo], and after what did that happened (is it after you flashed a P7300 Stock ROM??)??
have you ever flashed stock ROM through odin before??
can you at least enter the recovery (CWM)??? cuz that would make things easier
we should know these things before we can help

The tab is non-responsive to *anything*. It won't boot, tethered or not, after the incorrect stock rom flash. I cannot get into recovery and odin does not see it. I have had a blank screen since.
Yes, I am somewhat familiar with odin/fastload/adb and various other tools for my android phones. Prior to this deadly flash, I had used odin to install cwm and a ROM on it. However, at this point, odin cannot see the tab either.

I assume that the problem is caused from the bootloader incompatibility
so you're saying that you can't enter the download mode or CWM
and your computer can't recognize your tab through adb connection ether
if this is exactly the case, then I don't think anyone can help you
maybe you should try to take your tab to any close samsung branch
Good luck

You can get JTAG for about $40 so not that bad:

I have a SM-N910F Note 4 device and I have been out of the loop for a long time. In fact, I was scammed getting this device as I was told it was a SM-N910T and.... well... I am stuck with this and need to make the best of it. What is a good radio, rom, kernel, etc that I can use to get t-mobile wifi calling on this device?
Also, I reset the defaults on the phone and I now have all 11111111111s for the IMEI so it won't register on the network. It worked before I reset the defaults. I held the volume button down on boot up and the writing is all in Chinese so I don't know how to modify the IMEI so I can use it.
Any suggestions to either issue are helpful. When I was in the loop, I was a strong follower of AOKP and Cyanogen as they felt full featured but true to the source of the ROM and kept it updated. I don't know if these ROMs support T-Mobile WiFi calling or if there is a better, stable, somewhat frequently updated ROM that I should consider now. A simple ported T-Mobile Rom with 4.4+ or 5.0+ is fine. I don't care as long as it's stable and fairly reputable.
Thanks for any help on saving me from a complete loss on this phone, if it just won't work, I will put it up for sale to hopefully recoup some of my lost money back. I can't believe how stupid I was. The box even says 32GB but it has 16GB inside... these guys are good now adays. A hard lesson learned.
Any thoughts on this? Even if I am screwed because of the Chinese writing on the bootload, I would lice to know. I can't get the OS to see the device nor Odin and I downloaded the Samsung Note4 USB drivers.
If I use the up volume+power I get an open android lying down with a red triangle with an ! mark and the message "No Command" under it.... sigh, am I screwed?
You're probably screwed on the IMEI unless you have a nandroid backup. You should download Kies 3 to see if you can use that to flash it. Best of luck.
Hey, thanks rco, I did find that when I pressed the up vol on boot that I could press the power button at the Android laying down open screen and it would give me a Rom manager. It says something like
Android system manager <3e>
And then all the other things like applying from anumber sd card or abd flash, etc. No option to connect to the computer so I can attempt to install Odin and I can't find Odin zipped up In a rom manager installer.
So I tried to install cm 12.x nightly from t0tletmo and got some scatter failure.
Thanks again and to anyone else that has any thoughts to add.
Why is it so difficult to put T-Mobile's WiFi calling app on non-T-mobile devices? The hardware is the same. Is T-Mobile's software hard-coded in the stock T-Mo firmware?
i'm just curious to know if you can use wifi calling overseas in airplane mode for t-mo customers lol
Yes you can, that's one of the reasons why I purchased the T-Mobile variant.

Edit - I just checked and that actually shows on the stock Note 4 recovery. I thought they had changed it.
You dont even have a N910F, I think you have a chinese knockoff. I believe that when you see the "Android System Manager <3e>" is the stock Android AOSP recovery and not the T-Mobile one.
When you hold the volume down and Power and Home are you presented with a screen with 2 options?
Post up some pics for us
