[ROM] MyTouch 3G RLS1[Espresso UI] [2-24-11]

Hello Everyone
This Rom is sort of the completion of incubus's Espresso since it never came out it still looks postponed.
It runs in 320x480.
Here is my version:
It has everything his was supposed to have.
Eclair 2.1
-Smooth Great looking New Expresso UI
-New task bar drop down with recent apps
-Friend Stream
-New Dialer
-Much More

It IS necessary to clear dalvik cache before it will work! You MUST or it will bootloop!
I use a modded kernel for this rom. The kernel overclocks to 510 mhz automatically and has the necessary space for this rom to run on NAND making it nicely quick. It is set to use 320x480 which is what this rom needs

hmm wont install for me. Just a boot loop at the htc boot screen

I am looking at sense and espresso 2.2
Bootloop occurs randomly, its really weird. I'm trying to figure it out. try a standard 320x480 kernel and install on sd ext2 img.

I don't know and can't test because WinMo doesn't accept touchscreen input on my phone but NAND android does.

i got it to boot in haret, but then it looped on the htc screen when the progress bar was half way.. I cleared my dalvik cache and it worked. it was extremely slow once in and even though it said i had 3g in the status bar any application said i couldnt connect

ok thanks i don't have data plan so its iffy for me to tell if it will work
I'll be repairing and fixing this soon.

As usual, to install, rename the file to bootanimation.zip and push the zip to /data/local folder.

I saw the scribble and instantly had to get it. Def gonna get this loading screen running on my phone. Do hope to see more..Awesome job.

I haven't played around with creating flashable zips before. I've thought about doing some kind of app that would download the boot animation right into place.

Have you ever thought of teaming up with UOT kitchen? Their boot images are placed in a flashable zip.

Looks like you're quite new to all this stuff. Right? The thing is that you need MIUI ROM (a custom ROM, perhaps the best one right now) on your android phone. Why? Because this theme is compatible with MIUI ROM only. Meaningless otherwise. But MIUI is not available for all android phones -- only selected android phones have been lucky. So, which one is yours?

Hi this is only for MIUI ROMs. If you are running a HTC HD2, I highly recommend JaguarMIUI. Install it first, then download this mtz and put it in /MIUI dir and if you select themes from the phone, it will automatically show this new theme. Select, Apply and enjoy!

How to install:
1. Put the downloaded ROM into root of sdcard, then go to vM00CWMv3f recovery
2. Wipe cache,data, and dalvik cache
3. Format system, data and cache
4. Mount system, data and cache
5. Install ROM that earlier you've downloaded
6. Wait the installation process until done
7. Reboot your phone
8. Enjoy it!
I recomended to flash stock kernel first before you install Icarus ROM V.1.1. You can get stock kernel link in below section.
