Getting rid of a UOT kitchen add on - HTC Incredible S

So basically I made my whole custom package and everything but now I've decided I don't like the hot kitchen lock screen. How do I get rid of it?

Can't you uninstall the whole UOT package from Settings -> Aplications -> All.
Not to be funny, but that's how i learned to take a Nandroid backup before installing anything

What he said. Or just reflash your rom if you don't know how. I would do it using adb

doesn't work for RCMIX3D ROM, i cooked something in the kitechn and it busted my backlights. returning the orginal files did restore the battery icon to original state but not the backlight

best thing is to flash the ROM again...ANd better do a nandroid backup from next time..

HTC Sense themes?

Are there any themes out there for 2.2 running HTC Sense? I'm currently using the Aria and I tried installing a theme from clockwork and it froze my phone and had to re-flash my ROM. So is HTC Sense customizable? Can I get a theme where it changes the battery icon and signal status and my notifications. I guess just all of HTC Sense. Thanks in advance.

No.

if your just wanting to tweak your framework-res.apk you should be able to cusomize that however you want here
I dont think you can install a full theme but you can modify things. Just use the link frosteddroid posted. I got an Aria too. I'm using super circle battery with a customized notification bar. I also changed my font and boot animation.
Follow the directions and flash it while in clockwork.
I did everything but when I had to upload my apk, it said "error. Try again". And I couldn't get it to work.

Did you make a 'nandroid' backup before you flashed? Just restore the backup.
That is the problem, i forgot the Nandroid :-(

Can you boot into android ? if so then use a file manager and navigate to it and delete it.
also why on earth would you flash a live wallpaper ???? why not just install the .apk ?
did you mean boot screen?

Request Reboot

Is there a way to get Reboot Option on stock rom reboot menu options?

Yeah it should be. I've never tried it on an odexed rom though so it could be a problem there. Of course you could always deodex the stock rom too. Its just code mods to some framework files: Framework-res.apk, android.policy.jar, and framework.jar all need to be modified. Nothing that needs to be done on a source level.

Just Download Rom manager, then manage back ups, rename it then delete Rom manager if you so wish

Is it safe to select optimistic 3D in Rom manager or is it gonna brick my phone ... cause the thrill isn't in the list

You can also use oi file manager just browse to your backup like if you use cwm :
Sdcard/cwm/backups
Once there long press the file you wanna rename and choose "rename" and just make sure to not put "spaces" while renaming your backup.. instead you can put "/" or "-"..

Yes Optimus 3D is safe. This is what I use. It works on both the Optimus 3D and the Thrill. Using this option you can also get cwm touch recovery. I use Rom manager to flash cwm recovery. The 'Thrill' cwm recovery that we were manually installing is also an Optimus 3D recovery image.

Every time I rename it says md5 sum mismatch

you can rename them with any file manager, but to restore it has to be the original file name, so when renaming them add a prefix and then delete only what you added and it will flash with out a mismatch.

Have you tried restoring the rom whitout changing name to see if it works ?? Otherwise just take the numbers like : 1039.3.203030 and on your pc make a new note using note pad and name it whatever you wanna name it so it should look lile this :
102.2034.3404 = Energy Rom might not be the best solution but a quick workaround...

Just use rom manager to rename. It will generate a new md5 sum to match.

I would also agree that it is safe. I just flashed it yesterday and it works perfectly. ROM Manager is a nice app to have.
I know this thread is a few months old, but just figured i'd update this for anyone else who may be having issues, or might have issues in the future and google's it... but you can rename the backups to whatever you feel like and have no issues restoring it due to MD5 sums mismatches. The only thing is that you can't use spaces. If you absolutely have to have some form of a space in the name of the folder for the backup, use a period or something instead.

Restore stock Flip Clock

I replaced the flip clock with the RED HTC CLOCK MOD (used in Desire 200). replaced the original apk with the modded one. It worked for the time but disappear as I did a reboot. So i have to repeat the same steps everytime after reboot to make it work again.
Secondly, When I got tired and i wanted to revert back to the old clock. i del the modded apk and put back the original apk, supported by odex. The system doesnot detect it.
I want to revert back to the Desire C Flip clock but I neither want to do a CWM Restore. It's just lame and time waste to Restore the whole system for a flip clock. Any help related to downgrading/reverting the flip clock will be appreciated
PS: For those who want to try out the BLACK CLOCK MOD:
1. Download attachment
2. Copy or use PUSH ADB method to replace the file from original file. They are located in system/app/ (If Stock ROM, make sure to del the ODEX)
3. apk --> system/app, del odex = First Enjoy then take tention about how to revert
creating backup of the original file is useless, as i said, system won't detect the original apk once the modded one is copied
" Use it on your own risk, Its not my work, credit goes to the dev " and have a nandroid backup before try.

Thanks I tried it. I set permissions to rw-r-r. System detects the clock now after first reboot but still doesn't show up in widgets.
