Thanks, but Zeus is better than V20?

I think yes, but 6.23o ver. and zeus is faster then stock

It's difficult to be slower than Stock ROM! xD
Inviato dal mio LG-P970 con Tapatalk 2
Zeus has lots of tweaks so it really is a hell lot faster than any ROM out there.
And it's just exited Zeus 6.24!

8h and 88%?
I Read that CM7 waste a Lot Of battery...

Look better : like said above, screen is mostly off. But I have to admit that with Temasek kangs, I have a good battery but I never play games on it, so battery is less used lol. ;-)

As you can see, I didn't use a lot wifi and screen is sleep, but 10 hours and 88% is good enough for any one.
the battery life is a lot different for everyone. it depends on your rom and the usage. i need good battery and i concluded on the following steps
1. install a custom rom equipped with custom io schedulers and governors. choose an battery friendly oriented governor (f.e. ondemand/ondemandx interactive/interactivex) and tha right scheduler. you can google for the governor/scheduler combinations but the most important part is the governor.
2. switch to 2g and use only if necessary wifi bluetooth gps connections
3.disable auto sync apps like gmail
4. set the scrren out option to 30secs or 1 min and the brightness to power saving mode
5. i don't know if it really conserve battery but make the rom faster uninstall/freeze the unnecessary system apps link of what you can uninstall http://www.modaco.com/topic/341738-list-of-applications-that-can-be-safely-removed/

Really depends how you use the phone. In stand by very small baterry drain. I think the same like in 6, 24. It is my feeling

I got 2 days of battery time on Zeus V6.24, it's really awesome..
now I'm testing the new V6.25
i'm using zeus but asking in the zeus thread might offend huexxx and his disciples, is mobile standby, i.e. the mobile radio supposed to be the main battery consumer? It's always around 50% of the total battery consumtion. It is the same with 2G only
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the application Lux auto brightness, the problem is that this application should change the brightness automatically, but for me it is only possible to change with negative numbers. Between 0% and 100% I see no changes, I read that the developer said to be a bug of the rom but I have not understand . Can someone help me :banghead:

I have asked at the developer and this is the response?
"If it can only change subzero values, then your ROM/kernel isn't passing on the brightness values to the display. I use the Android API for this, so it should work fine. Also check that you haven't put Lux into sleep mode (see if it says 'sleeping' in the notification)."
My app isn't in sleep mode but I don't understand all the response can someone translate it in a comprehensive language for me
And any solution for this?

I am going to admit that I have no idea what's wrong, but let's get the debugging process rolling anyway.
First question: Have you tried asking in the CM10.1 thread?
Second question: Have you tried disabling the auto brightness feature in settings?
Third question: Are you running stock CM10.1 kernel?

Thanks for your reply
1. Yes I have asked two times but no one have replied
2. I have tried all possible combination with the option of the rom and the application without results
3. I'm running all stock rom

Assuming that the developer is correct, then either cyanogen mod omitted something critical for the app, or the auto brightness feature is locked down by the auto brightness control of cyanogen mod. Either way is not something you can solve easily.
My recommendation would be to try out another AOSP rom. I have switched to paranoid android recently after using cyanogen mod for two and a half years. Compared to other AOSP roms in order to try out the pie control feature.

Okay this is not a solution, but if I wanted to feel paranoid that tread do you recommend? I use cyanogen nightly for its continued development

I have found the problem /solution is an incompatibility with swipepad (only top corner)

I currently used a couple of ipcam Foscam, perfectly working with Galaxy note, S3 and S2, both wifi and 3g. The ipcam are on ports 5060 and 5600, ddns with no-ip.
Now I'm owning a new Xperia Z purple, and no way to see the cam!
tried many app, tried also with browser (maxthon). page not available!!!
It seems the phone is unable to see any ports other the 80, both in 3g than wifi.
Result, I cannot see my cameras, but with samsung all fine!
Anyone can help?
Nobody uses any ip camera?
Inviato dal mio GT-N7000 con Tapatalk 2
i guess you are using some surveillence ip cams that do have a dedicated login-page which shows all cams. Maybe eagleeye or avtech? Well, no matter what: its probably related to flashplayer capability of the browsers you use, as it isn't supported by adobe/google etc anylonger, so no recent browser supports it by default. You can google and find out how to install flashplayer on dolphin browser though.

I have 3 different types of webcam, all on different ports. This works fine...
http://hit-mob.com/ip-cam-viewer-android
Also I am pro user of ipcam viewer.
And it is ok on galaxy s3, s4 and Note.
But no result on xperia.
Same wifi, or same 3g.
So the issue is on my xperia: what firmware are you running?
Inviato dal mio GT-N7000 con Tapatalk 2
Used it on all stock firmwares, 350, 434, 253 and now 307. Also working fine on tablet z
Any idea what I can do? The phone is new, no brand and stock. Internet browsing is ok, only this issues with cameras.

It's more than likely a problem with the app than the phone, I use an app specific for my DVR and it works fine. I have also used different Apps with different DVR's and they work fine.
Tried many apps with same results, tried also many browsers: unable also to view config page of the camera, pages unavailable. It seems that all ports are blocked!
Some minutes ago tried a factory reset, but the issue remain the same.
I.e. Typing 192.168.1.1:80 I enter in config page of my router, typing 192.168.1.200:5060 page unavailable.
But typing 192.168.1.200:5060 in my note send me in config page of ip-camera!

Are you sure your xperia is on the same Wi-Fi network as your cameras, and not just connected to the mobile phone network. What's your phone's IP address? (Tap on your wireless network name in Settings, Wi-Fi to show)
192.168.1.10 assigned by my DHCP. Same problem accessing from 3g connection.

I can only think something is acting as a firewall on your phone. Got any security software installed? Other than that, sorry, fresh out of ideas.
I've got same idea about firewall, but.... Where is? And why only on my phone ?
Reset phone some hours ago, no software installed, and macafee uninstalled.
So, no more ideas, remaining only to change firmware.... But I do not like to do this on a phone with 6 days lifetime!
Everycase, thank for your interest!

So, the only way I am seeing is trying to install a new firmware stock. Question one: I'm running 10.11.A.1.253, what's the best/never firmware I can try?
Question two: how to backup/download my original firmware (deutch)?
Inviato dal mio GT-N7000 con Tapatalk 2
Downgraded to 434. Same results. Internet ok, no way to see ip camera. May be I need to try Cyanogenmod?
Inviato dal mio GT-N7000 con Tapatalk 2
Now upgraded to 4.2.2 Spain Firmware.
All ok, but same issues of previous firmwarw.
Not possible to see ipcam.
Anybody experience thjs?

New part of this incredible saga. Started test with Yawcam, that let me manipulate the ipcamera data simply.
Obviously the video stream do not function, but the http session ( 1 jpeg image ) works! So that is not an issue of ports or firewall, but an issue regarding the streaming. Maybe an hardware fault?

Hi guys,
Searched but couldn't see any similar topics. My camera app frequently drops me back to the home screen with no force close or error. The timing is random. Sometimes I might get a couple of shots, sometimes one. When I resume app, it is showing the last photo and resumes where I left off. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Any thoughts,?
