here you can grab the Gingerbread source code for our beloved phone...maybe this will result in better/more stable kernels?

Yeah, they did, but it took them a hell of a lot longer. How do you think we have custom kernels? Would be hard without source.
Hopefully there are some fixes in this source that'll make both CM and custom kernels for GB more stable and even better.

Nope... Kernel is the known kernel, same version than Froyo, with perhaps some changes but same version number, and Nvidia is not LG... So ask Nvidia for their
Sources.

Thanks a lot. now. I have PMed Ricardo. the 3.0.8 kernel was the KU kernel and that it has audio bugs. currently it has just been fixed so It will release after now or tomorroe

Ricardo has reaches and is a pro dev at cm, he might have used it from lg or ti or the korean version

It should be CM10 Nightly build for P990
You need to have permission to use that kernel source. RC worked hard for it. Give some credits.

any hardware or software issues? many says all the issues will be solved after updating to ICS
from hardware i don't think there is big difference, both have chipset nvidia tegra 2. the difference in software, i don't know what is the suitable ROM for SU660 because it's different from optimus 2x international version.
the software update SU660 is faster than optimus 2x don't know why, maybe LG decide to prioritize Korean people i guess. but optimus 2x has many ROMS beside stock, CM7 for the example, or you can use flash stock zip rom with CWM which already tweaked. and you can flash another kernel, like mine using CM7 and symbiosis kernel (the kernel already discontinued due to the author leave xda). or you can flash CM10 but still bugs on it.
