Hi. Wanted to install enigma rom, but I had some problems. When wanted to flash the system using fastboot - there was an error, not enough space. Then I tried with clockwork, didn't work either.
After that I noticed that I have to change size of partitions, went to this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15901109&postcount=23 , downloaded System: 250 Data: 134, tried to flash it. But again a f**king error -writing appsbl failed (remote: unknown partition).
Googled it, but didn't found nothing useful. Would be very glad, if someone here would help.

Hi there glad your interested in enigma we have a nice release comming very soon
What are you using windows or linux?
If its linux remember sudo or su before the commands and to restart you terminal check permissions and do a clean wipe ex sudo ./fastboot -w
If using windows download mur4iks custom boot loader it works better than the pre made files for windows the pre mades where more for linux.

There wasn't much to do, and yes I did everything correct. Cause if there wasn't enough space, there would be that error again, that there isn't enough space.

Download Mur4iks custom bootloader and then put ur phone into fastboot.
Connect phone to pc and check that all the fastboot driver has been installed.
Then open the bootloader and select ur system partition.. (data partition will
change auto) then click wipe data and then click flash partition..
Click reboot and then go into recovery and then flash enigma !!
Hey i think you should use the bootloadertool not the predefined one's maybe that works.
http://kulkoff.com/swift/ and then download the swiftbootloaderbuilder.zip.
extract into one folder ! it needs some additional files.
make backup with clockworkmod!
put the gt540 via usb , restart into fastboot mode before starting the bootloaderbuilder!
run the bootloaderbuilder.exe as administrator if using 7 / vista.
select partition sizes, flash bootloader. wipe & reboot.
restore an backup of your rom, flashable zips work too.

"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" run command from parent file of ADB rename the img from cwm6 to recovery.img next time dont encrypt unless you absolutely need to, even then just save it to a passworded zip file and change the extension to something seemingly innocent and at most if anyone finds it they will think its a corrupt file

Hello,
knowing there are a lot of specialist out here, but also that each of You lack time, I hope with this new thread that somebody is able to catch upp and help me with my problem.
HTC One
Firmware 2.24.401.1 (CID HTC__A07)
TWRP 2.6.3.0
Fastboot is working
ADB is working
File copy from PC to phone working (Thanks to Matt !!)
Booting into recovery possible
Booting into system not possible, (TWRP says OS not available), stops at 1st white HTC screen
Wiping is not possible, 'failed', cannot mount /data
Flash .zip is not possible, 'failed', cannot mount /data
Anyone has ideas how this can be solved. I understood it happens more often, but personally I have no knowledge whatsoever how to solve this .
All help highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ruud
As adb is working then side load the rom onto the phone and install from adb
Hi L0rdNes0n,

Thanks, M8, I found the site already, but had to leave somewhere.
When I come back I see You link to the same site, good !
But, I understand that what it actually does is make sure the rom (*.zip file) gets loaded into the phone. As I said, I did that, or better Matt did that for me while he supported me through a teamviewer session.
When I open TWRP and try to install the rom, it will immediately come with the error "failed" and a jumpload of lines telling more or less the same
E:Unable to wipe '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
and such like.
If I understood correctly, adb sideload is no help here, or did I misunderstand this ?

Hi Herwegan,
No I was wondering if I should try the format option in TWRP, but my locig was the following :
-if format is an option, Matt would have offered me to do it
So, if this is an option, I'll do it :
-format, confirmed with yes, := succesfull
-wipe factory := successfull
-opened a cmd window and started adb push rom.zip /sdcard :=succesfull
-TWRP install rom ARHD 20.2
This looks great, I got aroma and it is installing.
Will call back when results are available !!

I saw some Google + and Google Play errors flying by, but am not able to understand these yet, maybe later.
Although planned, now I will be spending time with installing all the programs again.

these errors are most probably caused by the new 3.09 base which is only a leak and not a 100% stable one
you're welcome!
Not out of the woods yet.
A restart is giving me the error that I have inconsistent UIDs and recmommended to wipe data partition.
Made a nandroid , copied all files and nandroid to PC, probably will have to do that wipe

From memory this odd effect is often caused by the app Quadrant.
If this app is on your phone then delete it and message goes away.

Hi! I've founded and successfully installed CWM on S7390. All credits goes to @trivalent for compiling CWM for S7392. Because of the same processor on both devices, we can run that same CWM also for our devices
INSTALLING:
Code:
1. Download the attachment.
2. Extract it. You will get a .tar.md5 package
3. Start your device into ODIN mode by pressing VolDown + HOME + POWER button on your Galaxy Trend S7392.
4. Run ODIN and connect your device to your PC using USB cable.
5. Browse for the .tar.md5 file from "PDA" section. Select the recently extracted .tar.md5 package.
6. Flash it.

so ive messed with this before and have hard bricked devices doing so but those devices diddnt have custom recovery but i was able to increase the data partition size by approximately 500MB (see screenshot below) im working on a recovery zip that wll do it and seeing wherelse i can pull stuff from lol. i plan to future update it so that the system is 1GB which is about all you really need and shrink partitiojnns that have more space then they ned down to like 5MB to keep the number scheme the same
Beta 1 zip is bad i am just goinmg to make a windows bat file that will do it lol

if you want to keep your rom and data you will need and external sd card that is big nough to hold a backup of system and data.
okay i made a bat script that **SHOULD** work i havent been able to test one part of it so if youd like to test ill attach the zip to the bottom of the post

No problem.
What about restoring original partition scheme? Is this possible via kdz tools (or what's called)? Is kdz reparitioning device?
Or it has to be done manually (then we have repart making it EXACTLY the same, every single byte?
@demonslayer12349, your script is a little strange.
Code:
@adb shell su -c "mount -o remopunt rw, /"
It should be:
Code:
@adb shell su -c "mount -o remount rw, /"
isn't it?
Then another thing. You delete 4 partitions and create only three.
For D410 partition 31 is "eksst". It is 0.5mb only. What is the reason to delete it?
Or the script is device-specific?

As I know LG software doesn't recreate partitions, so you have to do it manually.

Hi there!
I have a TX1085, it is already unlocked and rooted and has the CM Recovery installed. But before the CM Recovery I had the TWRP Recovery installed and tried to use it to flash CM12, which I had put on the SD-Card. It kept on telling me that mounting the system failed. Unfortunately I wiped everything via TWRP Recovery without creating a backup. Then I installed the CM Recovery to try again. Now, if I try to flash via CM Recovery (apply update) it doesn't show anything in my internal storage and I can't connect via adb using Ubuntu (Terminal tells me either "device not found" or "device offline".)
Any suggestions?
Greets
I have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm still learning all this, but in your case, from what I've learnend so far I'd maybe try the "fastboot boot recoveryfile.img" command, loading TWRP or CMrecovery into the ram of the phone and start flashing from there?! (just an idea)

Thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately I don't know how to get access to my phone again via computer, which is - I think - because I deleted the system on it. Or how else could I get into the ram? This is my first time to flash a phone, so I really need some guidance.

I tried, but the Terminal gives me that:"cannot load 'recovery.img': No such file or directory". I'm in fastboot, is that correct? Is there another way?
Right now I can't (or don't know how to) switch back to TWRP, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for your help!
did you installed android sdk and adb drivers? if yes try to open cmd in sdk directory

Look for adb in 15 seconds and install it, go to directory where fastboot is located.
Download twrp image and rename it or something and copy recovery.img to fastboot directory.
If there is no recovery.img in that directory it will fail.
After you copy and rename recovery.img then you will be able to do what I told you.
If you are new at modding, you have to take it easy and ask everything before doing it.

I managed to get TWRP working again. I have the .zip-File in my Internal Storage, but can not mount System. How can I do this?
Edit: Wiping data seems to be working but I get the output "E:Unable to mount '/system'". When I try to install the ROM it fails to mount an unmount /system and gets stuck at "Patching system image unconditionally..."

Next time, please ask everything you need before doing something.
I have been modding my phones since the Motorola L7 and I always ask for everything on a new device before start modding.
That way I never bricked my phones.

This post seems to be aiming for Windows users, but I am using Linux. Could I still use it? If yes, how?

That is why I asked you how to get CM installed with TWRP. I had the mounting problem at the very beginning already. How can I get CM installed now?

The commands I wrote before, use the same steps but instead use the cm recovery.
I hope you understand!

In the newer versions of TWRP the first screen should show a Mount button. In that screen you should be able to mount any of the partitions.

If I use the "fastboot boot CM_recovery.img" command the phone installs it and then starts into TWRP. Except for that nothing changes. How can I continue?

If I try to make a tick (as to mount) system the phone vibrates but doesn't tick system, so I can't mount it this way.
