Same here. I've tried several things with no luck.
Things I've tried:
force attaching app to market with titanium backup
Uninstalling from phone and downloading from market
Clearing data on music and market
Clearing cache on phone.
Running liberty, stock radio and kernel

Good looking out.
For anyone having issues here is what I did.
1. Uninstall Music through Titanium Backup
2. In TB hit menu > More > Clean up the Dalvik cache ... > OK
3. Reboot
4. Install Music from Market
5. Good to go

So I flashed the zip asop provided for the new market then I instantly got a force close error when I started my phone. So I used root explorer to delete the apk. I flashed the old gapps back. But I'm STILL getting the force close error and my market won't open. I thought flashing the old gapps would fix it but it didn't
I want to avoid nanding back.
Nevermind I found a fix.
Go into settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All tab, scroll down and click on market, then hit clear data.
That should reset the market app, when you open it again it should review the terms and conditions.

For those of you who didn't already know, a new Android Market was released today! The Market was updated to v2.2.6. It will gradually roll out to different phones. Those of you who want it now can install it with this easy .apk file.
Download
Have fun!
I installed after deleting the existing market apk. It force closes every time I try to use it. I cannot move it or copy it to system apps. I can put it in either internal memory or on the SD card. I can accept market terms and start it but then it force closes. I tried clearing data, cache and rebooting but same force close every time. I did not delete market updater apk. Any suggestions? I have the original market reinstalled until I can come up with a solution.
Woah, that's a huge change. o.o
I recommend getting the sgs tools app from the market. It has this included now and you don't have to worry about sideloading or moving the apk with a file manager or adv commands. The new market is really nice.
This is my captivate. There are many like it buy this one is mine.
works on cm6.1 beta 3
Worked on Perception 8. Just copied it over to my sdcard and installed it using the normal installer. Thanks man! It looks awesome.

Looks/works well but where's the update all button? Does it only appear only when there are more than one apps to update?

Works and looks great on Captivate and I also suggest using SGS Tools FTW.

I installed via sgs tools. (amazing app by the way)

New market seems like a step backwards in some ways. I can see the need to reduce the refund time, but 15 minutes is nuts. Also, removing the tabs? That's just a mess.
Bring the tabs back, and make refund time 3 hours, and I'm a happy guy.
I also think it's a step backwards in a lot of ways. Yeah, that nice green design header looks cool... but it dominates the damn screen. Annoying!

Update: Tried to go back to original version via SGS tools restore script and lost Market completely.
Reinstalled new apk via droid explorer and it reappeared, and now search functionality works as expected.

Yea... but you can scroll around and lose the header once you start browsing.
Didn't have any issues after installing it - search feature worked.
Just downloaded straight onto my phone and used the base installer (no droid explorer, astro etc..) and it worked fine.
Also you get the "update all" on the top button under your downloads if you have multiple updates - which I did
Thanks again for this.
It works both on stock and rooted versions, and valid for all devices.
ANSWER:
1. Go to Applications-All Apps and select Marquet app, then:
2. Clear storage+clear data+ Force Stop.
3. Go to Google Services Framework app, then:
4. Clear data + Force stop.
5. Reset your device.
6. Open Market app and accept Google conds.
7. Press Home and wait a couple of minutes.
Then: tou've got it!
Plain and simple.
That simple? You over-complicated the **** out of it.
1) Go to applications, stop market, clear data
2) Relaunch the market, install or update any app
3) Exit market, and go back in to it
You have the new market. I did this literally 30 minutes ago to update my market
This is the same way past market updates have always gone.
Neither way worked for me. Either the so-called-simple way or the so-called-over-complicated-****-way.
Same here - neither worked...
I've tried many different alleged methods, but I think it's ultimately down to luck. Flashing nightlies, I've tried the new market many times, and have succeeded a few times, but there's no consistency in which method works...

Thanks it worked just fine for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried to hit your thank button but I have already had my 5 for the day
My method :
1) Download flashable zip file. Place on root of sd card.
2) Go to titanium backup...delete market.
3) Reboot into recovery and flash zip file.
Done!! Been working for me since i did it. Hope this helps.
I've tried CM7, HoneyComb v4 eMMC-2nd Edition, NookieFroyo 0.68.3, PhireMod v4 - WTF!?
I've downloaded .apk's, etc. NOTHING! What the hell is it going to take to get YouTube working?
I'm running Nookie-FroYo 0.68.3 and has no problem with YouTube app or website.

If I use that ROM, I can't install YouTube from the Market. It just says "installation was unsuccessfull".
Fix your Market first:
1. Clear data in Google Services Framework then force stop.
2. Clear cache in Market then force stop.
3. Fix permissions using ROM Manager.
4. Reboot into recovery using ROM Manager and clear cache.
5. Reboot.
Hopefully that would fix your market app and let you download YouTube.
If you cannot fix the market, think about using Aptoide or Aptor apk, which are market alternatives, you can find some un-official apps there.

YOU CRAFTY BASTARD!! Why haven't I seen this somewhere else? I've been pulling my hair out for DAYS! Trying every ROM, waiting up nights for CM7 nightlies - to no avail!
It installs and works fine now that I've done this. If I wasn't straight, I'd kiss you!
I'm on f1 innovation rom jvt and it has the new market which I do not like. So I used this method to get the old one back. I deleted vending.apk and marketupdater.apk. Then I copied updater.apk and market.apk to system/app.
Now when I open the market it force closes straight away on the circular loading icon
