[Q] My phone won't turn on and no recovery mode! - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everybody, I'm just new here and I know I'm one of those people who keeps on asking about the same problem! I'm sorry about that.
Here's the problem, yesterday I rooted my s2 for the first time and it was successful. My current ROM right now is chekrom latest version and my current kernel is speedmod latest version which can be downloaded in the kitchenpro application. This morning I was downloading a widget in the Kitchenpro and then it was successfully installed in my s2 but it turned out that I got a bootloop. I immediately turn it on to recovery mode and "reboot" my phone. (So dumb didn't access the forums for any solutions! It was too late for me.. sigh) I tried to put out the battery from my phone and when I was about to turn it on, my phone won't turn ON! I tried to do the recovery mode (vol up + home key + power) but it won't open! I tried to open the download mode and it was okay. The worst part of it there's this grey battery blinking on my screen! I tried to flash it to my stock ROM which is KF1 but it still won't work.
Please I'm a newbie here. If there's someone out there who wants to help me, it will be much appreciated
Thanks!

Mate, you need to post in the sgs2 forum.

[Q] Stuck in a bootloop... HAALPPPP!!!

Hi all,
I recently got a samsung i9000 after owning an htc desire for a while.... I was more than happy with cm7 on the htc so i rooted etc and installed it on my galaxy... but it seems that its a bit more buggy on the i9000 port and i had loads of force closes and my phone was pretty unusable... so i then used clockwork recovery to install what i believed was the correct version of darky's rom 10.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814091) and now im stuck in a bootloop... when i turn it on for 'normal' use, the original GALAXY S logo comes up (the one that says SAMSUNG at the bottom of the screen.... then it switches to the GALAXY S logo with cyanogen(mod) underneath it, then it restarts and im back to the original SAMSUNG logo.
I've tried to enter download mode (vol down, home then power) and when i do this, it just restarts with the original logo in a loop until i let go, then the cyanogen(mod) logo comes up.
Ive downloaded kies and odin to a fresh machine, but when i connect the phone over usb, I get the litter circular timer icon lighting up my phone for a few seconds, then the cyanogen(mod) screen comes up for a few seconds.... and then reboots....
Anyone got a way out for me? ive been without a phone for a few days and its really hurting now!
So you can't get into download mode??, did you flash back to stock rom before flashing Darky's? Because with CM7 a froyo bootloader is needed, and with Darky's a GB bootloader is needed. If you can get into recovery, go to mounts and storage, format system, data, cache, and datadata. Then pull battery out and try getting into download mode again Vol down + home + power. Report back dude

No I'm afraid not, their are two other things you could try....using adb booting into download mode from their....or a jig....that will force it into download mode, u in the UK??

I guess you need a jig to get into download mode. after that, try to flash to different ROMs and see if you have fix the problem.
If you internal sd card is physically damaged, try this method here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188482
Yep, Im in the UK.... I dont think the internal sd is damaged as it was fine before flashing darkies rom... Ive not used adb to try and force a 'download mode' before.... handy link to a tute?
sorry for my brevety, im quickly writing this at work!

Hey guys,
Last night I rooted my GT-P7310 8.9 WiFi. Today I downloaded ROM Manager and when I hit backup my screen went black. Now, every few seconds I'll get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 screen and then a bunch of vertical lines and then it goes black again. It won't reboot or turn off. Any suggestions?

Flash back to stock using Odin

I really hate to be a bother, but can you direct me to a thread that can walk me through this? I've tried going through Kies, but my device won't connect. Thanks.
Just check out the general guide up above. It's chock full of useful information on rooting, loading Roms with Odin and changing recovery.
I can't find anything to help. It won't go into Restore mode. If I click on it it just goes black. I can get to Download mode, but it won't do anything. If I plug it in and open Kies, it will only try to connect if I'm in Download mode, but it won't connect. It just times out and says to reboot the device. Is this thing salvageable or is it toast?
Ok, after doing some more reading, it seems that it is fixable, if I can get it to connect to Kies. Anyone have in ideas on what to try? It doesn't even attempt to connect to my tablet until I put it in download mode, and then it just runs until it times out.
I'll help you tomorrow.
Download odin and your stock firmware in the meantime

There is no 3 buttons combo that can factory reset your phone, press vol. Down + home +power button, you will enter to the download mode"here you can flash rooms using PC Odin", download PC odinb from the development section, and flash stock rom in .tar format, then you can root and flash a recovery where you can flash custom rooms. But read the guides in the dev. Section about using PC Odin before any thing

[Q] Bootloop, can't access recovery

Hi everybody,
I have a Galaxy mini 2 non nfc model (GT-S6500D) and i've been using CM11 and CWM 6.0.4.5 or version after that and everything was fine. Then my battery decided to stop working. I got a new battery from a friend and i wanted to go back to stock rom and i forgot to wipe data and cache before going back to stock rom. This is where the problem appeared.
Now i'm stuck in a bootloop and cannot access recovery in any way. I can go into download mode, and i have tried another stock rom too, didn't work out. I tried flashing CWM 5.0.2.8, 6.0.3.2 and 6.0.3.3, it flashed but i still can't go to recovery. The phone just stays turned off when i hold Vol up + Vol down + home + power. Download mode works though. I also found a pit file and did a re-partition along with stock rom, it didn't work either.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix this or get past it?
Sorry because its my first post, i've been on the forum for some time but never registered.
Thanks ahead for any help!
EDIT: I managed to enter recovery somehow when it was already bootlooping or somewhat like that, im not sure myself. It's fixed now, Thanks.
