Is it possible for someone to skin the current dialer so it fixes the damn lag issue? I'm not a fan of the default 6.1 dialer...
try Inesoft Dialer
Or Iconsoft, http://www.iconsoft.com/
thanks for the links but I'm just interested in keeping the stock dialer with speed increase.
I just tried the dialer from Iconsoft...
I am impressed with the sound/speed of the dialer. and the full screen incoming call. I know s2u2 will do that too, but I disabled it to try the Iconsoft one.
Finally a dialer where the sound works with the touching of the keys!
I hated the lag before.
I may try this dialer for a while... Quite large buttons too.

Have you tried http://www.tweaks2k2.com/? There is a tweak that removes the 3 sec ringtone lag. Working perfect so far for me.
I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9 WIFI model with The Samsung Keyboard dock where you stick your tablet in but i have now one problem Some buttons on the keyboard are not working on ICS Honeycomb 3.2 it was working fine.
Buttons that are not working Are:
- Home button On keyboard
- Recent apps Button on Keyboard
- Internet shortcut
- Brightness up and down
- Mute volume
- Play Pause, Next track
- Apps tab On keyboard
- Hide Keyboard
Buttons that are working Are:
- Back button on keyboard
- Numbers from 1 to 0
- You can write
- Tab
- Caps lock
- Shift
- Ctrl
- Search shotcut
What can cause this Problem is the Keyboard dock just not compitable with ICS?
I suspect that it won't work fully until Samsung releases the official ICS update. My assumption is that the AOKP ROMs lack the necessary drivers for the keyboard (and the built in camera as well).

Okee Thanks for the answer!
In the stock rom you have to use the samsung keyboard while using the dock to get all the features. To use the keyboard dock with a custom ICS rom someone will have to port the samsung keyboard to ICS. I have tried but have been unsuccessful so far (probably a libs issue).

Hmmm - didn't know that. Haven't even opened the keyboard dock that I got bundled with my 8.9 - since I knew it didn't work with the ICS ROMs.
Any update?
Hi guys, I just purchased the keyboard dock and its not working. When I plug the charger into the charger port, it does charge my tablet.
I have the galaxy tab 8.9 LTE running the jellybean AOKP rom from dan-htc-touch.
Should I try to change my rom to see if there's any change?
Hey everyone,
When I install Slim Bean (4.2.2) or CM 10.1 I lose the ability to voice input text. Whenever I hit the microphone on the keyboard or the search bar, the keyboard crashes and won't reappear. This happens on the stock keyboard and Swiftkey alike so I believe it is a google voice recognition problem.
This happens on a clean install from CWM and GAPPS apps.
If anyone had this problem and fixed it I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks!
I'm using HTC One Developer Edition ARHD 51.0 and Swiftkey beta keyboard.
LMT Launcher is working fine normally. The problem arises when I am using Whatsapp.
When the Swiftkey keyboard is open and I click on emoji icon it opens above the keyboard instead of closing the keyboard on opening over it thus covering up the whole screen which is annoying. cos whenever you need to put the emoticon u need to press back key once to close the keyboard and then tap the emoji icon to open it. this way it works correctly.
Recently I found out the this issue occurs only when you keep the "Set keyboard state listener" checked.
If I uncheck it everything works fine.
And it happens with stock keyboard also.
I wanted to know that is everyone facing this issue or something is wrong with my phone?
I am hoping someone can help me here. I use Substarum and Swift black to theme many aspects of my phone. But 3 updates ago to Swift black has left my keyboard practically unusable. Removing the theme has not corrected the issue: the keys are still blacked out to the point you can not see the letters and the keyboard is shifted to the left which makes it quite the pain to type on. I do not have any one handed operation enabled, and removing the substratum theme does not correct the issue. No amount of removing updates of the keyboard has corrected this issue either. I'm at a loss and have found a replacement keyboard, but I miss my stock keyboard and would like to get it back to working correctly so I can theme it again.
The issue does not seem to be with the theme, but rather an issue with the Samsung keyboard. The neutral Beta version of the keyboard does work, but is not able to be themed.
I appreciate any assistance in solving this issue.
I feel it is important to note that I am on 7.1.1 not oreo.
To answer my own question, somehow my dpi settings got changed in Developer settings to 457 instead of 455.
I changed it back and all is well!
