[THEME] ICE CREAM SANDWICH FOR FroYo (27.12.2011) - Hero, G2 Touch Themes and Apps

After some delay i can now finally release my theme. It's not finished yet, but allmost
This is NOT for any Froyo rom. It's for FroYo (with capital y). It's a rom Goku ported. other roms like froyd, floyo etc. will NOT work.
Will update the OP more later
Install instructions:
1) Download the zips. Unpack the CMTheme.zip and place the xml in a folder named CMTheme on ur SD. Place the other one in the root of your SD (in no folder).
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik
4) Flash the zip
5) Reboot
6) Go to Settings/CM settings/User interface/ Tweaks extras/ select theme and select ICS
About the ICS Pack: This is not a flashable zip, extract it
This one includes some stock wallpapers and some other ICS style wallpapers. It also includes the stock dock background, the same which are used in my screenies. The dock icons included are NOT stock ICS icons, they are the ones I've used my screenies. If you want stock icons it's easier to download a icon pack for your launcher. If you want more dock icons like I use, make them with the app Simple Text from Market, it's really easy
Changelog:
4/1: Added a .zip with some wallpapers and such. (xda is bugging so i can't upload, u'll have to wait. Look at page 2 for one wallpaper and dock background
27/12: Added some reaaally nice stuff, let's all admire the settings.

Looks realy cool, ty for making it, going to check it right away.

Cheers. Will give it a try later.

Revert?
anyway to revert back to old theme ?

Reflash rom with cache and dalvik wipe.
In what way is it buggy? I know there's a gap over and to the left of the icon in pulldown, but other than that I don't find any bugs at all atm...

I couldn't boot up after installing theme. Was using floyo 1.4 and entered the endless boot loop.

Added screenies, lol that took a while

Great job, looks awesome really . How did you make your launcher look like that? Have you changed it? I am running default rom launcher and it doesn't look anything like yours.

[08/05/10] Suave Sense Theme For Any Eclair MDPI ROM [METAMORPH]

Well first..READ ALL BOLDED AREAS!!! lol
So..I decided to put this together..just a little mix of themes that I was runnin' includin' my ADW Suave Sense launcher. This is a Sense lookin' mix for those who like the whole sense look deal. Comes with black bar like in Sense Roms.
HOW TO METAMORPH THESE FILES:
Go into the Android Market, and search for Metamorph, and then download and install. Once it's done installing, open Metamorph, and it will ask to do some checks and when the Superuser Permissions come up, click Allow, making sure that 'Remember' is checked on...once that is done, just press on 'Unzip/Extract new theme' and navigate to where you downloaded the file. Click on the zip file, and then it should unzip it for you automatically. Click 'Close' on the pop up, and then click on 'Apply All!' which should appear on the bottom right button, then just wait for it to do its thing. If a warning comes up about the framework edit, just hit continue. Once you press the home button, as is usual of metamorph edits, there will be a brief pause and black screen while the page reloads, and it should be done. Hope I explained it well for you. Let me know if you have any problems.
Well, here you go! Enjoy!
IF YOU ARE USING A CM BASED ROM To change the color of the clock/date/network/notifications, you can do so in Spare Parts. For other roms, you'll probably have black text..lol

It should work for it. Why did you think it wouldn't work. It's a metamorph file for any eclair MDPI rom as the title says in the OP..go ahead and try it out!
I figured it would work its just you mentioned for any other ROM, use CM ROM ... I guess that was a joke that went over my head, lol! Thanks! Ill try it out a little later.
for anyone who downloaded it before, download link again...forgot to add full black bar earlier. hehe Updated link now in OP with it. enjoy!
I'm at work...
...so I will morph as soon as I get home. Looks promising. I'm assuming your using sense 2.1 icons, right?

[Theme] Black Hole Epic 4G FIXED!!

BLACK HOLE
This is my latest theme for the Epic, and will most probably be the last before Froyo is out. I'm not sure the framework changes in Froyo, but I assume it will be no trouble to port all of my themes over to Froyo after the release. I hope you enjoy!
First you need to root
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770388
Then you need clockwork
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782300
Finally you need a deoxed theme template

do you know how the battery life on a stock deodexed di18 is compared to a custom deodexed rom. I really want to flash your theme. Also, does crake001 for the battery percentage mod work with stock deodexed and your theme?
i'm new to the android world but was successful with changing themes on my iphone. please help me by giving me step by step on how to apply this theme. i already downloaded to my samsung epic but is stuck there.
g.salas
I haven't played around with too many roms to compare battery life. I carry two batteries and don't really worry about it. I didn't do the battery in percentages on this one. It is on the list for the future. Right this second I'm using a blue battery widget. Flashing my theme over crake's battery percentage will erase his mod, but it might be possible to copy my framework-res.apk and twframework.apk. I'm not sure though. Keep checking back and the percentage mod will end up on here.

Alright, first you need to download the one click root method and one click clockworkmod recovery if you haven't done that yet. The next step is you need to choose a rom that is deodexed, or download the stock di18 deodexed rom and flash the zip in clockworkmod recovery. You cannot theme the stock rom that comes on your phone, it must be deodexed so you don't run into force closed issues. Once your rom is booted and running, just boot back into recovery and apply blackhole.zip. That isn't the basic as the instructions get if you need more help, pm me and I'll go into further detail, as well as provide you with links to everything you need. Everything you need is available here at xda. Don't hesitate to ask more questions.

having some trouble with this theme i have tried it on the galaxy rom by noobnl and the epic experience and on both right after i flash it the browser, contacts, and messaging icons disappear.
Sorry to hear that! I haven't tested either of these roms with the theme. The only rom I ever themed besides stock di18 deodexed was andromeda. I'll contact a few people and find out if there is something I can change in the theme to fix this. I'll pm you with anything I find out and update the OP to let others know. Once again, sorry about that! I believe when apps dissappear like that it has something to do with noticing a change in the md5sum. So I'm guessing that I'll have to sign those apps individually to fix but I'll wait for some confirmation before having you flash a mistake again.

I found the root of the problem dealing with the theme erasing half the system apps out of the phone on flash. I re-worked the apps and just successfully flashed over Frontier GS 3.0 rom, but I know it will work finally because I had the aosp magic rom and my theme deleted all the apps on there as well. It was because I was still theming apps from the dg07 build instead of using the ones from di18. Since I was using stock di18 deodexed, for some reason the apps still took but when I flashed any rom at XDA, the results were bad. I will update the OP and post as soon as I post the fix. Sorry for any inconvenience anyone has suffered.
Theme is fixed, link is updated enjoy!
Theme update! I have been real busy but haven't stopped working on the theme. The dialer colors will be adjust next!
Included now is a fix for the power control widget where you can actually see the buttons. Also the camera is themed now, here are some pics:
**Notice in the pictures the button to switch from camera to camcorder is lighter than the rest, that was fixed before upload, they should all be the same.
Also I themed Tapatalk pro on my phone. Since so many people use it, I'll help anyone who wants their version to match. I'll supply the drawable-hdpi folder and show you how to copy it in.
wow awesome work! Where is that power control widget? does it live in another apk?
edit: I think I just found it in the settings.apk (?)
Yeah settings.apk, just pull out the pngs for the widget or you'll get the other colors as well

[THEMES] Cognition 4.1+: Gingerbread, Honeycomb

Make sure you backup before flashing in case something goes wrong. I am not responsible in any way if you brick your phone. You accept all risk that comes with flashing your phone.
With this theme I decided to go for a more genuine GB look. Which is why there are more files to flash. Also after some trial and error and help from people around the forum I finished my bootanimation.
Here are some GB themed apps. These are not required for the theme to work but do make the theme look good as a whole. *note the Dialer were pulled from Serendipity and can be found on the Serendipity site.
All of the files are Clockwork Mod flashable except the "Icons and Dock.zip"
*NOTE*
This theme will not change the look of your launcher. There are Gingerbread styled icons and dock attached if you want to theme your launcher. This is not a CWM file. Download it, unzip it and pick what you want.

Guide to Themeing
The attached guide is information I use to theme the Cognition ROMs. If there is additional information that you would like to know you can ask me and I'll try to answer.
Honeycomb Theme
Attached is the Honeycomb theme that received of 70% of the vote in the poll. This Honeycomb theme has been ported from PuffinNugz's theme he created.
*UPDATE
The battery icons in PuffinNugz's theme didn't port over properly. I tried everything I could think of to get them to work but could not. So what I have done is recolor the GB battery icons to match the blues in the rest of the HC theme.
*Note
If you want your lock screen to look like the one in the screenshot you have to use the puzzle lock in the settings.
Hmmm, I'm using Cog. 3.03 and it seems that this theme only changed certain properties of the theme. For example the notification bar is from this theme, but when in settings or any other menu, the font color and type is still from my previous theme.
Otherwise great work, thanks

I observed this as well during testing. I had flashed one of the other themes available to Cog3 and found that after applying my theme that certain things were still unchanged. This is due to the apps such as settings, dialer, browser and so forth were also themed by the developer. My theme only changes the framework and twframework files in the rom itself. Not in each individial app...for now.
Ahhhh, I see. So I'm guessing that flashing a fresh copy of Cog. 3.03 and applying your theme should work?
Thanks.

Cog2 uses JI6/JJ4 framework.
Cog3 is based of the Rogers 2.2 and uses JL1 framework. Other users tried to use my other GB theme on Cog3 and it didn't work. So I made one that would. Supply and demand is what will drive my themes mostly.

Which one of the Cog2 themes are you referring to? I know there are differences in the extended power menu and the status bar pull down. I'm not aware at anything else blatantly different. The reason behind the icons being different is that I didn't have new icons when I made for first two themes. If there is a request to update the old themes with the newer icons I will update them. Like I said before supply and demand.

I just wanted to say thank you! I love the theme... I have been on EE03 since it came out (thank you to ACS and the whole team over there) and I was coming from the Cynox theme on EC05 (which I loved)(thank you IMPuLSe EX) and this is right in that same vein. I also wanted to attach some screenshots and also mention that when I flashed the TW Lockscreen (here)(thank you p3dr0maz) I got a pretty cool result! (Screenshot also attached)
EDIT: I attached screenshots after flashing 2.1, the new SMS/MMS icon and Phone icon are great, and the Dialer is really sharp!!!
EDIT: I attached screenshots after flashing 2.2, the few things that were updated are fantastic. In the notification drawer the sound/vibrate toggle is fixed (AWESOME), there is a very cool new blue glow on the bottom drawer bar (also AWESOME) and the keyboard looks outstanding!!!

Backup before hand. You can just flash another theme/rom but that can be hit or miss as it could have things it doesn't replace. Backup is best bet.

Yes, once i have the phone.apk and mms.apk themed the new icons will be there too. Im not sure if i will get everything done before an official gingerbread comes out. Most of the work i have done so far i will have to do all over again when that comes out so no promises for EE03

[Theme]BStyle Naked Simplicity theme for Speedmachine (UPDATE FOR V5!)

Hello everybody!
This is a theme inspired by Dbilliters awesome MIUI theme Naked Simplicity
If you want a version with a Sense statusbar background, scream out Or if you want another background scream out and post a link to the theme you want background from
Install instructions:
1: Place the .zip in the root of your SD card (not in any folder)
2: Boot into your recovery
3: Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4: Flash the zip
5: reboot
About Transparency
Not all launchers supports transparent statusbar, for eksample Go Launcher does not. It will then only show a plain black bar. ADW Launcher, Zeam and SweeterHome supports transparent statusbar, but you'll may have to uncheck wallpaper manager in preferences
Thanks to:
Elelinux for the awesome rom and the update script
Dbilliter for the awesome theme
ZduneX25 for the some framework
I am not responsible to any damage this may cause your device. It worked for me and I see no reason how it could mess up your phone, but if it does do not blame me.
Your theme looks really nice.
You cant make it into a theme chooser theme instead?

Hey great theme for a great rom,
any way i can just install the lockscreen? I like the status bar icons but they are a little...mashed together...perhaps its my eyes? anyway, really like the monochrome rotary lockscreen...
@Hkki
Ahh, sorry about that, i have just flashed too much and thought it was pretty obvious Added now
@M4rk84
It is made in the UOT theme kitchen, pretty fast work. I just selected the Outline lockscreen and rover icons. But if you like I can make it tomorrow
Edit: I made it anyway Flash it from recovery with cache/ dalvik wipe

Yes, actually I could start right now since I've not got anything better to do I will post it in the Villainrom forum
Edit. Blæææ, it seems that it's way harder to port it to Froydvillain than to any other Froyo rom, but I'll take a look at it later

Thank you very much, I appreciate what your doing for all of us a lot.
Edit: I switched over to Speedmachine just to see the theme, and after flashing the zip's the battery still doesn't change to the monochrome battery.
