Maybe he got contacted by HTC and either threatened or bought not to dump the pre-prod rom?
I guess there are not so many pre-prods out there and perhaps HTC have a iron grip on them with contracts or something???

As you know I also have a working GPS pre-production model of the S730.
I was going to dump everything you like but I don't know if tis is still necessary. If yes, could you give me a hand?
Attention: I need to return the model tomorrow (the distributor asked it back)

Yes it's necessary. A complete dump of the pre-prod ROM is still missing I think. I never did any dumps so I wont be much of help to you.

For what reason???? They want to avoid possibility to find out how to enable GPS maybe. After that will you receive the production model with nonworking GPS?

Why would someone on a forum give you a link to forum spamming software? That would obviously not be the smartest decision. I found a cracked version of it, but considering warez are not approved of on this forum and I don't really want it being spammed anyhow, I don't think I'll post it.

[Q] Are these the right instructions?

I have a rooted SGT 7.0 (Sprint) with the Samsung version of Gingerbread. I'd like to flash it with an ICS build, and the one I selected said to flash it using CWM.
Could someone please tell me if the instructions in the link below are still valid for Gingerbread? They appear to be written back when the device still had Froyo, so I'm not sure if I should follow the same steps.

First time opening a thread, if theres any mistake that I make please let me know...
I'm thinking of archieving the files for rooting, openrecovery and everything so in the future if my milestone got any problem, I can solve it if the source is not in the internet anymore. The problem is I already search the UK RETAIL (RTUK) in this forum but end up I only found dead links.

Hello to all, i'm new to XDA and absolutely new to this idea of rooting and ROMs. I bought my Galaxy Note with the leaked JB ROM from Samsung
I mean build Number - N7000XXLSA. And I was wondering can i install a stock jb rom on my Note? Do I need rooting or anything like that? And how can I do it, since i'm new... I will be gladly thankful if someone can provide me with links to the steps i need to do!

P.S. I mean I really don't understand jack about the rooting and ROM-ing

Not sure which ROM is suitable for Bulgaria.
Check out your current build name and see if there is something similar on the Dr let an thread.
Basically, you need a ROM which had your language pack
Check which ROM has your language in it.

I don't need bulgarian, btw... I just need it to work with my mobile provider, which I'm sure it will, since It's the international version And english language of course!
