I have been searching for a way to overclock the bionic. Someone has figured out a way to overclock the droid 3 without a custom kernel. Is there anyway we can use this info for overclocking the bionic and improve on it?? Here is the post....see what you think!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341514
People should try this cause it's actually working for the bionic. Just needs some work.
Give it a shot ppl!!

Is there anyway that you can explain how to do this? I followed the op's directions to a T and keep getting errors in term emulator?
I was getting 2200 quadrant runs before this after the best I've gotten is 2527. Not a whole lot of improvement

Just download the file straight to your phone and do it. Make sure you have the "download all files" app installed on your phone from the market. Then extract the file with astro file manager. Also free on the market.

Couldnt install any. Parsing error using File Expert. Noobish so I could be doing something wrong.
mounted system/apps to RW
Copied apk into directory. Modified permissions on APK file
rebooted.
Apps not installed
Trying installing from File Expert and get the parsing error.
Am I doing something wrong?
i just threw together a quick KJ3 build with as many apps as seemed logical, and the only things that would even show up on a gingerbread rom were maps<br>
market (couldnt setup account though because of gmail)<br>
plus. (no account setup)<br>
live wallpapers (most if not all)<br>
videos.<br>earth. <br>
browser<div>music</div><div>google search box (showed on desktop but Force close constantly)<br>
<br>
<br>
no <br>
phone<br>
contacts.<br>
camera/email<br>
gmail (no account setup either)<br>
launcher<br>
bluethooth<br>
video editor<br>
everything else...<br>
<br>
they just wont work, at least yet...</div>
The only thing I have got to work was new gplus

Does anyone have the HTC Hub apk from the AT&T ICS ROM? I just noticed that it's missing from Rum Float b2, and I want it back. I'm not on unlimited internet, so I don't want to have to download a 400MB pack just for one APK.

that question is quite frowned upon in this forum
it all depends on the individuals needs, everyone is different
they encourage you to flash the roms to see for yourself
and the don't wanna ruffle the feathers of the dev's
hellybean seems to be one of the more popular at the moment

You've started at least one other thread asking basically the exact same question. You're probably going to get the same answers. And you're going to piss a lot of people off.
That being said, try them. Read through the development threads, see what the people are saying.
Edit: I see that you've started two threads that have gotten locked.
