I am trying to add some weather information to the lockscreen without buying WidgetLocker, or replacing my homescreen with FlyScreen. I noticed that the Desk Clock app seems to use GenieWidget / News and Weather widget to display weather info. Is there a way to do this on the lockscreen? The clock on the lockscreen seems to be a widget.
I am familiar with editing framework-res.apk etc. I have made some modifications to my lockscreen already!

Widgetsoid/Widgetsoid 2.x is a great (free) alternative to the other toggle widgets. I actually think it's better than any of the paid ones I've tried.
Oh, and I totally second Folder Organizer (the paid version). Best app I've ever bought for my phone. Endless possibilities.
Like a lot of people I found the LG widget garish and wanted something that looked nicer and had more functionality.
"Fancy Widget" (a rip-off of HTC's widget) used to be perfect for me until that functionality was moved to the paid version - attached is the version before that happened
Within the app select Clock settings then
Clock tap action - Launch my application, Select clock application - Clock,
Date tap action - Launch my application, Select date application - Calendar
Then add the widget to your home screen and you're good to go!

Anyone able to get the colorize bookmark widget to work? I have no problem with the facebook or agenda widget, but the bookmark widget won't show any bookmarks.
Is the a full calendar widget or a way to add any widget to rooted note 3
