I noticed that the phone as he began to slow down, rebooted and then ceased to be installed
memory card, I tried three different cards, still can not see (in recovery also does not see).
After a while, the phone is mounted in its own, but when accessing the card phone reboots.
I tried hardreset and other firmware did not help.
What should I do?
It was happen to me when I changed sdcard, but it works now.
I scratched the plastic around sdcard metal pad using knife to make it flat with it metal pad. Just becarefull when you do that.

Hi,
Has anyone experienced this problem with their BA?
The SD card won't stay in the slot, it's as if the mechanism won't catch or something. As a side effect, I can't get my BA to read the card even when I hold it in place.
It was working fine and has just stopped working for no apparent reason.
I had this problem, and found there was a small bit of "fluff" stuck down inside the slot...thats what happens when you carry it around in your pocket lol..
I have been using a class 2 16 GB SD card that I bought off play.com for a while now, and it worked perfectly in both my Hero and my N1, until recently. Since flashing Froyo, I have been having some issues, for example my mp3 files are not indexed in the music app, so nothing shows up, also my phone was freezing, both when I unplugged it from USB and at other random intervals.
So I decided to try another SD Card to see if it would clear up the music indexing problem. Since then, that has worked, and my N1 does not seem to have frozen at all.
Has anyone else had any issues like this, and could the SD card be causing my phone to freeze? (By freeze I mean it sits with whatever I was doing on the screen, but is completely unresponsive, and sometimes if I wake the phone it sits on the slide to unlock screen with the screen dimmed.
Thanks for any help.
I have a issue like this and I re-formated the the card and all worked for me. I again had the issue with another card I just took all data off the card and all worked so there was a file that had corrupted on the card. Hope this helps
That is definitely useful. Thank you.
Did your problem involve freezing at all?
So I have this old g1, it's been through 5 owners and over the summer it got crunched in a recliner chair mechanism, and it stopped booting up. In short, I took it apart, determined that the slight bend in the daughter board to motherboard connector was the culprit. However, a month or so ago it started booting again, and the only 2 serious issues with it that I have found is that if you press too hard on the back, the daughter board becomes disconnected, which causes the processor to be cut off, crashing the phone, requiring a battery pull, etc etc., and also that the sd card controller no longer works. (Also for some strange reason rebooting won't actually reboot the phone, it just does this odd interlace fade to a black screen and you have to do a battery pull to even get it to turn off, only power off works)
Anywho, the issue about the daughter board connector becoming disconnected temporarily on pressure wasn't a huge issue as long as you were careful with the phone. The sd card controller wasn't an issue either until I wiped /system without knowing the sd card slot was dead.
The phone boots into fastboot and recovery, it has clockworkmod. However, I can't really flash a new rom onto it without an sd card, and I have tried every way fathomable to mount a folder in /system/ or somewhere on the nand as the sd card so I could adb push a rom and flash it, but it never worked.
I tried flashing something from fastboot, but it gave an error about the signature verification or something rather. Any suggestions for flashing through hboot/fastboot? Have I just not found the right htc signed zip yet or what? Help much appreciated. Its not a huge deal since I have a mt3g slide now but it'd still be cool to **** around with the g1 ya know? First android phone ever manufactured and its still kickin. But if its done, its done. It lead a good life, 5 owners haha.
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys
I'm having issues with my HD7.
I'll start by saying I had the phone with no problems for about 2 months and then suddenly the problems started.
Basically it starts by just randomly rebooting and it loses all the data, going into the phone info shows that it has about 15 megs of memory, normally this is around 16 Gigs.
So I opened it up removed and reinserted the microsd and factory reset in the menu and via the volume buttons + power method, this works for about a week then the problem happens again.
Initially the problem would go away by just rebooting, but lately I have to open her up every week and reseat it and reset it.
I've tried replacing the SD card, from what I've read online the only card that you can replace the internal one is with a sandisk class 2 card, but the one that was in there already is a class 4?
The new card I tried with still has the same problems.
I have tried contacting my local HTC and they keep referring me to the US HTC as the HD7 is not out here yet. so that isnt a solution.
Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
Did you try formatting the sdcard that was inside the hd7? You can use a Symbian device to format it. Let me know if this works.

Thanks for the reply.
I have tried a format on a PC. I formatted to NTFS and then did a factory reset (volume buttons).
It usually works this way for about a week or two then the problem shows up again.
my card was comming unseated so i took off the bootom antenna cover part and reseated the card and no problems after that
Yeah, thats what i have to do to try and get it to work, basically unscrew the phone take out and reinsert the sd card, but again that is a temporary solution, wondering if there is a more permanent one. = (
I love marshmallow's adoptable storage feature, allowing me to install more apps. This feature worked beautifully for about a month and a half. However, I shut down the device, plugged it in to charge, went to sleep, and the next morning, the apps that were moved to the sd card were not available anymore. They were all greyed out on my launcher(Nova). I moved about 4 gigs worth of mostly games. Fortunately, most of them had cloud storage, but some favorite games didnt. This isn't that big of a problem, but I'd like to try to fix it. So, I went here for help.
At first, I thought the class 10 SanDisk 16gb sd had just gotten bumped out of the slot where the connections happen, so I opened the back cover and removed and inserted the sd card. The notification that prompted me to put the sd back in went away for a few seconds, but then came back. I repeated the process of removing and inserting the sd a few times, but still no moved apps were available. I put the sd into an adapter, then into my laptop, and it showed on file explorer. So the sd card could still be recognized, but maybe unusable.
I dont know what happened, one day it was working, the next day it wasn't. I know i formatted it as internal and portable storage a few times, so maybe that wore it out. I'm running cm13
Hello,
On my phone I used the micro SD card normally as external storage. On day I plugged in my headphones and there was no music. I though that the micro SD card must have come out. However, reinserted it it didn't work. I wouldn't open on computer either. While I don't have a solution, I am pretty sure I also had the same problem.
Once I was taking pictures with my phone when it crashed and rebooted. Some hours before the crash I uninstalled some apps and installed some others (but never rebooted the phone). After the phone started again after the crash, all the pictures and files were gone, the uninstalled apps were there as if I've never uninstalled them and the new installed ones dissapeared.

how long have you used your sd card? i'm sure that the more you use a micro sd card, the more it will wear out and become unuseable/corrupted. That has happened to me before, where the sd card just stopped working.

I have used it for about 1 year. So it may be that but, it has never occurred before.
Same problem here, you can read it here. While I am writing hopefully my files from Titanium Backup are transfered to my laptop. It got worse and worse, in my opinion the sd-card has reached it's end of life because of it's heavy usage. Error occured the first time after the phone got really hot recording gpx tracks. Bye bye sd-card
Another opinion is that warranty is over after two years, so the phone can quit it's duty now - obsolescense plans

yeah, i'm starting to think my micro sd just bailed from wear like that too, but i got to use mine for just over 3 months. i ejected the sd and put it into my computer, and interestingly enough, on my computer it reads 16 megabytes. i was like WAAT that cant be, i formatted it, put it back in my phone as portable, and it read as the normal 14gb. i'm starting to think my sd as internal is the cause of my random reboots. im even running the lastest cm13 update too...
i guess ill try and use my sd as just portable storage from now on, and see if i get any random reboots..
I switched to TurboROM which is using the sd-card as a portable media device, so no more encryption, heavy usage and complete data loss if you do not get your encryption key with root permission.
System space left after complete recovery of my apps with TB is quite nice - but you do not have the possibility to use App2SD (correct me if I am wrong).
So the only way to save internal system space is to move pictures, movies and heavy openstreetmap cards to external.
