Try nik's rom or rcmix 4.0
if you want customization, you can't beat miui. bar none, the most customizeable rom i've tried (i.e. very easy to create custom themes) but most roms are customizeable, to a point. are you looking for sense or aosp? you need to specify which and you also need to specify what type of customization you are looking to perform.
ps yes, you can make the statusbar transparent with miui. just flash extended settings.
edit: the new ics miui already has extended settings built in

I've just installed MIUI, and found the danish translation that i needed in .XML - But I can't seem to flash them.. And can't find any answer on google
afaik MIUI roms make the status bar transparent.
else ADW under Cyanogenmod can hide the status bar

GingerElite v3...
Any other way to remove it?
There must be an option... Scan through all the options under Cyanogenmod Settings.
Probably asking in the original ROM thread would help you better.. Because most of the people on that thread would be using that ROM. So they might be able to help better
Hey there, I was wondering if someone could make me a transparent status bar for This cm9 sense rom. I can upload any system files that you'll need to do it. If you can't or dont want to, could you atleast point me to a guide that can help me create it? I just want this cm9 sense rom to have the full look of sense4, before it comes out. all I need is the transparent status bar. please & thank you
Look for statusbar transparency setting in Settings->System->Statusbar
there's nothing in settings about it.
i am also looking for transparent statusbar for new cm9 plz!!!!
Can it be done?
Would be nice to have.
I haven't chek my messeges but I wil update the rom and add that, you can also do it by editing the status bar background png ( whixh I tried and didn't work.) I also think that cm9reloaded might work if flashed.

Good morning friends,
presently i am using icon changer app to change icons for home screen, wherein in have to change every icon manually
i.e. open icon changer - select app - browse icons - etc..
whereas can it be automatic like... if we select an icon pack, it should change all icons automatically (all of them at once)..
I have even tried using different launchers but they spoil stock look.
Can anyone help me change all icons without having to change every icon & retaining the stock look?
Thanks for bearing with my stupid question, if it isn't possible.
Have youbtried different roms like cm10.1 or miui? Or even avatar or chameleon os? And please, questions do not belong here

Oh wait. I just remebered. There's the xtheme engine for stock roms which needs the xposed framework
I loaded up the ROM I found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2356512&page=1
I didn't get an Aroma installer (I expected as much because the first post says "No Aroma") but now that the ROM is running, I'm not seeing any option to switch to the standard lockscreen or app launcher.
Is there a menu item I'm supposed to be seeing, or is it buried in settings someplace? The ROM itself is running fine, I was just looking to sprinkle a little AOSP goodness into the Sense mix
If you will flash this rom, you can't restore the stock lockscreen or app launcher

Looks like I didn't specify - when I said standard, I meant the AOSP lockscreen, NOT the sense lockscreen.
When I installed the ROM, I didn't see any place to switch to the AOSP lockscreen (what's showing is the normal Sense lockscreen).

Anh, no, wait.
The rom didn't have the AOSP lockscreen as i see and read.
You have to do other thing for this

My impression was that a google edition ROM with a number of features available from the standard Sense ROM. As a GE ROM I would have expected it to have the standard google edition lockscreen available in some way or shape.
Am I right?
The other ROM (GE on Sense) has exactly what I want for the most part, but it's being discontinued (no more updates) - so I hesitate to run it for the future. Additionally, some of the comments on both threads made it look like it was possible to switch between GE/Sense versions for certain components.
Again, I'm thinking it might be something simple I missed. What's the word?
GE roms have the AOSP lockscreen.
The "mix" rom like GE+Sense, have some and some thing of the two roms.
So, you have to do a choise or wait for the MoDaCo Switch
I just updated to 4.4.2 on stock OS and noticed that this didn't change as I expected it to. Is there a setting that I need to activate for this?

Sorry to tell you this- The app drawer wasn't meant to be transparent. The pull down bar is transparent in most apps. A few don't have the API i guess.
Solution: Install a Sense-based custom ROM. U have the option of making both of them fully transparent, the way you actually wanted it to.
