UPDATED 12/3 [THEME] ACSyndicate V2.2 for DK17 W/ Transitions, 1% batt, ACS branding

Hello Everyone,
This guy seems to be fully working for me now! Sorry for the delay, been extremely busy. The ACSyndicate theme gives you one percent batt, ACSyndicate branding as opposed to sprint branding, a new ACSyndicate styled lockscreen, and some other changes due to all of the wonderful work over at ACS. Enjoy everyone!

To disable transitions, simply download spare parts and disable within there
Updates to come - Fix colored tabs on dialer
- More ACS specific theming

Here's where I stand on that. It does but not much. I'm on 10 hrs right now and I haver the battery mod in my theme. If people want it give it to them

This looked really good, when I go back to Froyo I may be rocking this! Congrats on the good work.

1% increments does not draw on the battery, the system is still going to read the voltage whether u display an image for it or not

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but with this theme phone would disconnect occasionally. Uninstalled theme and phone calls are working perfectly now.

Not yet, I threw this together right before I went to work today. That's coming with my next release. With the new dialertabactivity.apk there are tons of different images now, so it will take a bit to fully theme it. Will be out on Monday most likely.

LOL short and sweet right. It's one of the 3 apps that have control over your dialer. There is dialertabactivity, phone, and contacts. Contacts has more control with pictures of contacts and what not. Dialertabactivity holds the images for the actual dialer buttons and the icon for phone.apk.

Im only going to do a couple more themes and then im done will start taking requests. Ive only been porting/themeing themes I like myself. This is based off jabbawalkee's amazing MattedBlues theme. I ported it and made a few edits. This is my DD.

I was in the middle of porting this myself, been wanting this theme, nice work.
I have a gingerbread keyboard I modded for my port ill post it if anyone is interested and its ok with OP..

Edit: There is a small "R" over my 3G bars? Also my 3G icon keeps switching from the themed version to stock version every so often.

Fitti I really dont see a reason to post my port, looks like mak did an awsome job besides I only finished Framework and TW-Framework res, didnt even start the apps...... Ill PM him the links so he can add them I also have a honeycomb acc circ batt in matted blue, ill PM that to mak as well...

For some off reason my 3G icon will change back and forth from the stock ComRom 3G icon to what I believe is the themed matte 3G icon. Also sometimes It will show a very tiny "R" over my 3G bars

Sometimes when the phone boots up it shows a different 3g icon. It goes back to the one its supposed to be in around 10 seconds or so.

Ok I'm a little confused. From what I read over at the fascinate forum, this was achieved by adding an xml and images to framework-res.apk, and adding an xml to twframework-res.apk.
but when I look at your .zip, I see a systemUI.apk that's apparently being flashed to /system/app...browsing the apk, I see that you added the images and edited the xml that would normally be in twframework-res, however I can't find the xml that would have to be added to framework-res....and a bunch of other files and folders that I didn't think would need flashed...
So I guess my question is, how did you accomplish this? I would have thought that same steps would be needed as for the fascinate, and the two framework apks would need to be edited directly. This whole systemui.apk just has me a little confused....
A little help would be much appreciated as I'm dipping my feet in to themeing...

I'm running marcusant v7 rom. The only thing it changed was the 3g,wifi and the widdgets on the notification pull down back to stock looking. Look at the pic I posted up on the first page

Ahh..my bad. Just read the link you posted...I had figured it would have been the same...so, on that note, what is exactly is systemui.apk and what purpose does it serve? Does it replace framework-res? Or is it something that wouldn't normally come with our gingerbread build and we're just adding it in there?

[MOD] [THEME] Custom Dialer's for the NS4G (DISCONTINUED)

Custom Dialer's for the NS4G
DISCONTINUED: Not making these dialer's anymore. Thank you to those of you that have supported and donated. I just don't have the time, and every time I post something new, somebody is messaging me saying that because they have done this on other phones, they deserve thanks for the work that I have done. I don't need the headache or drama.
I have been playing around with these dialers on my NS4G. These have been tested on CM7 Nightlies, Deck Gingerbread Rom, Bugless Pete's ASOP Nightlies and Carbon Series Rom and they work just fine. These zips will only change the contacts.apk on your system. I have made a few changes on most of the zips so a few things in the contacts will be themed. Here are some screenshots.
I guess that I should add that I am not responsible if anything would happen to your phone, so please flash at your own risk. If anybody has any problems on other roms than I listed, please let me know so I can update the OP.

Any special request on a themed dialer you would like, just post it in this thread. It might take me some time to get it done, but I will get it done as soon as possible. I have a pretty busy work schedule but I can usually work on this stuff on the weekends.​

I know I have had several downloads, but not very many. I was thinking about doing quite a few dialers with sporting team themes. If people are interested please let me know. There is quite a bit of time spent making these, so give me some ideas if you would like something made.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this on my nexus since I did it on my epic. I'm going to have to look at the contacts.apk and find the files I need to change to do this. Is it easy like the epics?

Look in the drawable HDPI finger folder in the contact.apk. Thats where I changed the keypad.

Which file within the HDPI finger file do i have to modify? is it each individule number key? Or is it like the epics where there is a Dialer Panel image to just swap?

Each individual number key. Unless there is an easier way that I don't know about. I'm kind of new to doing this but thats how I do it.

So i looked in the file and thought hmmm alot more work than i expected, is there a way to change the back ground picture behind the buttons instead of being all black?
Also im running kings rom on my phone which has been running beautifully, but it is not deodexed will this give me an issue with modding my dialer? or any other files within my phone? ive looked at other roms but nothing has caught my liking. which one are you running?
I will post up a pic on here i want made into a dialer to ry it out on mine if you can make it for me.

This is a real nice theme. Can't wait until it is more orange in the blue spots. But really, good job.

I agree with you guys. this being my first theme ever, I don't exactly know where to find the files for say, the clock in the statusbar or Sprint and the date in the Notification Area. I will have to consult with my adviser @travismoreno for his expert opinion. lol.

For the settings pictures....settings.apk needs to be themed

The settings is themed. The only thing in settings that isn't themed fro settings is the icon.

clock/carrier/date coding for color are in the framework.res resources.arsc..

The dialer would also look much better with a black background like in my new Blue Mist theme. Pm me if you need help with it.

Change blue code to an orange code (keep it labeled blue/cyan) in colors.XML on framework-res and systemui.

Is this an .xml file? As I said, this is my first theme port and I have zero experience. I would love to edit this however I have no knowledge of editing .xml files. If you know how please PM me so I could get it done for you guys. Thanks rickriego.

I will change the dialer background if that is what everybody wants.

strange result...
I flashed this theme, and when the phone rebooted there was a new "dock" at the bottom...it's the same dock as on my tablet. screen shot attached. any idea? It is functional, but I've got buttons already and don't need this.

The original thread might say it but that doesn't mean it's true. So far every theme has had to be rebuilt for each alpha. This ones no different.
