I made these back for my Nexus One but they all work on the Desire HD.
All you need is to put it in the correct folder depending on your rom. FYI these dont work as downanimations.

No you can use adb or like me use root explorer to replace your current one. For example on cm7 its in system/media. On sense roms I think its under local/customize or something similar. Root explorer is very handy for this and other stuff thus not needing adb or mounting on roms
I made these 2 boot animations based on the Co-op loading screens on Portal 2. Yes the files are large but I think they look pretty good. You can use root explorer to replace your existing one or do it via ADB but don’t ask how never have done it via ADB.
You are welcome to mod them as you see fit but.

Try some of the other providers on the link. Megaupload and RapidShare links seem to be working fine for the blue Tsar animation

[MOD] Samsung Galaxy S3/S4 Boot/Shutdown Animation, Boot/Shutdown Audio and Boot Logo

I was looking around this forum and through google for a stock/original samsung galaxy s3/s4 boot animation that is for ROMs that uses sets of image frames as bootanimation like my devices which are Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0/Karbonn S1 Titanium/K-Touch Lotus II/Kiss U86 and Cherry Mobile Flare/Karbonn A9+. But I can't find any. Mostly I found are QMG files which are compatible for Samsung devices only. So, instead, I decided to make one. This has 480x800 resolution and the boot audio is the one from S3. If you have galaxy S4 audio. You can share it to me or here. You can customize/edit the files and filenames to make it compatible to your device. :good:

Set the following fields: Conversion Method: ffmpeg Resolution: 480 by 800 (depends on your phone). Click "Browse" and select the image you want to set as the splash image. Click "Convert". Check "In Fastboot Mode?" and Click on "Flash the Splash" button. Then, Go to the AIO Flasher Tab and Select "From Fastboot" under Reboot Menu. Hi
I wanna upgrade my old cellular phone to something fresh. I saw the new samsung galaxy s4 and Nokia's Lumnia. These are really great smartphones. Yet, my budget is kind of small, so I'll just have to settle on something ore simple.
Can anyone give me advise about the galaxy s3? Or should o go for windows 8 smartphone?
Thanks!

You're not supposed to flash in recovery... It's not a flashable zip. You extract the first pack, push it to system/media and set permissions to rw-r-r. Then with the other two files, you use the flasher in fastboot mode, and the OP provided a link to the flasher.
...Unless the flasher is aborting installation...
But that sounds to me like CWM's abortion script.
Splash image does not flash on Samsung Galaxy S4. A little help with this, please?
Bootanimation work in my Galaxy W i8150 with CM10.2, but not play song, only animation. How do I fix this?
Easy and popular alternative
I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 and I find that ROM Toolbox Pro offers the easiest and safest method for doing such modifications. It even has the option to convert any GIF file into a zip animation file and does all the tedious work for you instantly. Its worth the few bucks you pay on the play store. Anyways, hope this helps a few of you out there. Ha, I usually ask myself "I wonder if there's an app for that?"
Why there isnt logo of samsung galaxy i9300, means there only logo of samsung, bt i need samsung s3 logo.

[Bootanimation][Port] LCARS Star Trek bootanimation for Samsung Tab Pro/Tab S

Hey everyone! I have converted the LCARS Star Trek bootanimation.zip into qmg format so you can use this on samsung devices. I ported it to my Tab S 10.5. I later saw that the tab pros have the same resoultion. So I wanted to share it as its an awesome boot animation!
Features: Shutdown and bootup animation.
Links: https://mega.co.nz/#F!D1BDTRKJ!x1n5EBuwRai-seX4Vs7A2g
Credits: Samsung Theme application, Huskerwebhead for sharing the boot animation for our resolution,
How to install: Copy these qmgs to system> media. Then reboot.
Video: http://youtu.be/mYCKvelKv8U
Things to check: Does it work? Does it fit? Post below so I can see!
Requests: If you guys have any bootanimations for me to port, I can try! I would prefer bootanimations that are already made for 10 inch/close to our resolution. Just post a link along with a breif description of what it looks like(atleast a picture or video!). I still have to experiment around with resolution as Im still learning on how to make things perfect so try not to request phone bootanimations
Note from me: I currently need help in building a theme for the tab s 10.5. I cannot figure out how to theme the framework. If a developer can port the tab pro theme to our tab s, Id be so happy! Ive been trying for ages but I only port bootanimations... I can supply the apks also. Hopefully we can get some themes onto our tab s! Thank you

Have you tried changing the permissions? It should work on stock roms. Did you include samsungloop.Qmg also? What rom are you on?

[1080 x 1920] [Total 752 Boots] My Flashable Boot Animations For The OPO (9/15/2016)

Hello there everyone my name is Jon Wesley Tranchida (Tran-Chee-Da is how my last name sounds) and this is my boot animation collection thread. Let me tell you a little about me. I love boot animations very much and I love to collect or make every single one that works on our One Plus One and I am a 20 year old android geek by heart and soul! These boot animations that I am sharing with you all are 100% working and tested on the one plus one. A lot of these boot animations i have resized so they work on our one plus one. I am collecting many different boot animations from One Plus One ROMS, Nexus 5 ROMS, any other places or forums, or CM11/12/12.1 Themes for us to enjoy. There will be many more boot animations that I will share daily that will be put into many separate zip packages for you to download. I am doing this because it creates a shorter thread and you don't have to scroll so much! To let you all know this is a 100% free project and I make NO MONEY from doing this and all these boot animations are given 100% credit to their developers who made them if there not made by me. All these boot animations should work on all 1080 x 1920 resolution devices! All I am doing is collecting them all and sharing them for free for all of us to enjoy! Let's get started with the ongoing collection!
These developers are given 100% credit for their work and for there boot animation threads:
1. androcraze (for his nexus 5 boot collection)
2. Many more devs that i forgot because there are tons (Please let me know if you want so i can give you credit
3. I took many boot animations from many ROMS from many devices so developers if you see that the boot animation is yours you are given full credit and its not mine!
There are 17 total separate boot animation packages that you can download. For all 17 total separate zips you download separately you get a grand total of 752 boot animations! Each separate zip contains a different amount of flashable boot animation zips inside that zip file. I will be listing the boot animation names as accurately as i can so that you at least know what boots are in each zip file. Please understand that it will take awhile for me to list all them. Each boot animation has been tested and is fully working on our one plus one as well as other 1080P devices! Let's start with each package now!
My boot animations should also work for the following devices:
(Please note that certain devices such as samsung devices need a boot animation zip enabler in order to work!)
1. Samsung Galaxy S4
2. Samsung Galaxy S5
3. Samsung Galaxy Note 3
4. LG Nexus 5
5. HTC One M7
6. HTC One M8
7. One Plus X

Well, apparently I didn't help that much. Again, with batch processing, ImageMagick is your friend; There are Windows and Linux versions.
If fotosizer does the magic for you, then good for you.

Dude i am not addidng previews because first i don't have a good camera and 2 it takes up too much of my time and 3 do you realize how much space that would take up on this thread and do you realize that your pc would freeze up because it couldn't handle the amount of previews on the thread
Also android gives you so much possibility why not download the zipme app by the dev jrummy from the play store and use it to turn your current boot animation into a flashable backup.
Or pm me and give me your current boot and i will turn it into a flashable zip so if anything goes wrong you just boot into recovery and flash your boot backup and your phone i promise will boot up normally
I can promise you that these boots work as i have tested them on my s4 and one plus one both and they work fine

A preview can be a simple frame from the animation scaled; you don't have to create a full MP4 or GIF animation. In my animations thread for the N5, I scale the 1080x1920 screen image to 180x320, for a single, static image. It's enough to give users a general idea of what the animation looks like.
For your updates....
Every week you update one gigantic ZIP file with new animations. When you make 30 additions, users get to download those additions PLUS the 250 previous files that they already downloaded.
Why not break the ZIP into smaller zip files, say every 50 or so new animations? You could have:
OPO-1080x1920-bootanimations-collection-01.zip
OPO-1080x1920-bootanimations-collection-02.zip
OPO-1080x1920-bootanimations-collection-03.zip
OPO-1080x1920-bootanimations-collection-04.zip
etc.
etc.
etc.
You could also include a directory listing of the files included in each zip as well:
https://superuser.com/questions/395836/how-to-copy-a-list-of-file-names-to-text-file
With a 1.0 GB file size, your collection is starting to get daunting to download. At this point, your collection is strictly a PC-only option; few phone-only users (and there's a legion out there) will either be able, or have the desire, to download it.

Thanks for the help and tips i greatly appreciate it in fact i too believe that my 1gb zip file is just too big for people too download. I too wouldn't want to keep downloading a large file like that over and over. Which is why i have decided to make them into seperate packages like this:
OPOBootPackage#1
OPOBootPackage#2
OPOBootPackage#3
etc.....

**********************************************************************************************************************************
NOT RESPONSABLE IF SOMETHING HAPPEN DURING THIS INSTALLATION OR IF YOU DO A MISTAKE DURING THIS PROCESS
FULL BACK-UP IS RECOMMENDED
**********************************************************************************************************************************
Hi Community,
here i am bringing a few bootanimation for the LG G4 every Animation is build from scratch , i'm planning to create some good new animations so expect more soon in this Thread.
THIS ARE FLASHABLE ZIP's AND NEED CUSTOM RECOVERY
If you want to install/use this Animations without Recovery you can Extract the bootanimation.zip from the default zip file and install manually
Every Boot Animation Contains : Intro Animation , Loop Animation and End Animation.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Install
( READ NOTES BEFORE PROCEED )
NOTE 1 : To Run this New BootAnimation on this device we need to apply the Bootanimation Memory leak Fix found in THIS THREAD HERE this will fix the issues about longer boot animation not running how is suppose too, if you guys have notice the Stock animation is just a SINGLE image in Loop reason i see They doing such thing is cause the Memory Leak found in devices using Stock LP Builds.
If you want this or any other bootanimation run Smooth from beginning to end and have all system main boot file loaded so the device can run smooth from start you need to replace the bootanimation fix file located on the thread i mention before.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE 2 : Download the bootanimation_v2.zip and use the AOSP 64bits File READ the OP from download Thread for how to Change/Replace current file.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE 3 : the CM builds doen't have this issue cuz the fix is already apply so no worries there. (as far as i know)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE 4 : The Flashable Bootanimations already contains the Bootanimation leak fix so no need to worry about installing it separately.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
How to install Flashable Zip :
------------------------------------------
1- Copy Zip file to your phone (I prefer having a Folder name Boot Animations and have the files there)
2- Reboot to Recovery ( TWRP )
3- Go to where you have the file
4- Flash the Bootaniamtion
5- Reboot and Enjoy

i personally haven't tested using M , but if you are using any of the M Ports feel free to give it a shot try both way Manually (Decompress the zip and get only bootanimation.zip ) and/or just Flash the Zip File.

The "return to stock" is in an odd format. Better to pick one of the modded ones.

Those aren't Bootanimations.....
They are splash screens, that's the reason why they are in that odd format and they aren't animated. Jut a single image

The "Stock_inverted_light_blue_logo" has a 60 frame animation in it.

Same for me. I ended up downgrading anyway cause the M 6.0 port to the h811 wasn't doing too well. Works perfectly.
I made a simple bootanimation fot lg g4 https://mega.nz/#!tQ5zHY5K!Uo6wsVRZuezRwq6DCn6doEe0J8WesXkDvxfkvlNMwjk
I downloaded the LG Universe boot animation and did the whole unzip and place in manually and set all the permissions. I did this on MM which is the one released for the H811 and it works fine but only plays the last part with the LG G4. Don't see the first part with the planets and I can't remember how to edit it to play the whole thing as I have done that since my HTC MyTouch 4G days.
