I found this app, LCD Resolution (Root), on the market, and i was wondering if it really upgrade my screen resolution?
I notice a great difference on videos(Youtube->1080p) and browsing Dolphin Hd.
i take some screen shot from my devide, they are on 1280x800, but they look more compact.

After, I notice that the icons don't re-size, those this have a fix

Wouldn't this make the system render at a overly high resolution? Say you run a game, doesn't this make the system think your screen is much higher resolution thus degrading performance?

But what i want to say was that i notice the icons and numbers on the screen are too big and i want to make them small so i can see more icons, the problem is the blind spots. Where now are nothing,
is there a fix for it, like put more icons on the grid?
Yes it does, i done a benchmark and the result was dramatic.
But i think for movies is the best thing because it shows the details much better, on 1080p movies, and now I'm guessing.
For example if you want to connect to a led display that supports full hd, do you think it will show in full hd? and not the resolution of the phone?
It changes the density, not the resolution.
And Why did i have a lower score when i did the benchmark?

Hi there, the petitdroid animation is stretched because the size in "desc.txt" is set to 480x800, it should be 320x480. I attached a modified file.
I had troubles installing it as a ROM, so I just included the file bootanimation_petitdorid.zip which contains the animation itself. It has to be reanmed to bootanimation.zip and placed into /data/local, root needed.

Hi everybody.
These full flashable zips will replace the lockscreen handled. Simple, but looks good. Like these:
Install instructions:
-Save zip to SD card
-Boot into recovery mode
-Install zip
-Reboot
Very easy!!
If you want to revert to original lockscreen handled just install zip whith the name "Original" + the name of the rom.
Tested on:
-CyanogenMod 11 by PecanCM
-CalibanCM 2.5.
-CalibanCM 2.7.
I don't know if works on other devices or roms. If works please tell me.
I can make a flashable zip file with the icon, symbol you like, as long as you provide me the image or example that you want.

I guess not work on other roms. Because lockscreen unlock thing (I dont remember it name ) into framework-res.apk. if you change framework-res.apk in any rom, rom not working and staying bootanim. So It won't working other roms

All these images are 100% fine and are working at some times when i restart my phone or kill and restart the app which wants to load a picture. In one screen you can see that one picture loaded, but after that one, others just do not load (in messenger for example). These unloaded images cant be selected or edited whatso ever.
I am using latest CM 13 https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=w7 , it does the same with fresh install even a literal fresh install. Both on SD card and not on SD card. GIF images are more likely to start this unloaded images chain, but also loading more images while like scrolling can cause this and it suddenly reflects on every image in the gallery .

I solved this problem by installing quickpick gallery.
