Installation:
Note: EleganceSwift 5.0 works fine with 150 system, 234 data partition (Data2System). How to get this: [HOW-TO] Easily resize system + data partitions!
1. Download EleganceSwift-5.0-standard_(update).zip from below and put it into the root of your SD-card
2. Turn off the phone and start in recovery-mode (press HOME+POWER button)
3. For clean installation you should wipe data/factory reset, cache partition and Dalvik-cache before next step
3. Go to 'install zip from sdcard' > 'choose zip from sdcard' > select EleganceSwift-5.0-standard_(update).zip
4. After installation finished go back and reboot system
5. Enjoy

Me too.
As I know it's also the latest 2.1 release. It's a shame, that there are no other devs, who optimize the official LG Rom with newer Kernel and other tweaks. I think such releases are the most stable ones.

there is no 2.1 ROM in development anymore.. but there were so many but now gingerbread is nearly the only one just a little bit froyo and soon there will be only gingerbread a little bit and much Ice cream sandwich. The good thing is that the fragmentation isn't that high on custom ROMS as in official releases. there are still devices running 1.5 and I know one

As far as I know there is no DSP manager for Eclair. I would suggest you to try PlayerPro or PowerAMP, which come with build in equalizers/DSP packages.

greendroid was better, i think.
I think as both ROMs have the same base, patryk95juve tweaked ES5.0 even better than GreenDroid (the release is 2 month older).
yes, but... greendroid support swap, and init.d scripting and elegance 5 don`t.
Thats true, but ES5 uses optimized kernel.
patryk95juve planed to bring a new version, but unfortunately he never did.
Dont think so, it use miroslav kernel. btw, you can use any kernel you want with elegance 5 (miroslav, pcfighter, quarks) and enable swap, and init.d support.

kernel development is not easy at all... but it is very easy to change kernel on rom. You need boot.img or update.zip with working kernel you want to use and just use fastboot/recovery to flash it.

For Data2Ext: Open terminal, type "su", hit enter, then type "d2ext" and hit enter and reboot (Not required for 5.0)
Open music app, play some music, press menu button, select "sound effects", and configure SRS Panel
For SWAP: Open Terminal, type "su", hit enter, type "swapon", hit enter and reboot. TO TURN SWAP OFF: type "swapoff" and reboot
TO ENABLE LED BUTTON BACKLIGHT: Delete 14led from /system/etc/init.d

Battery backup is great because of the fixes in kernel by hephappy. Speed is same of cm9

This rom is absolutely awesome. The theme is really gud. So bugs so far. Will have to use it for couple of days to comment on the battery life of this rom. Hope it's decent too.

There is a mod that allows user to apply HDPI nd XHDPI thems on MDPI devices running ICS nd JB..

Meanwhile as you said the keyboard is toooo small. Tried the ICS one and I love it. Have been using the Rom for past 3 days. Again good job.

Hello MatrixGJ96 Can you check the wifi portable hotspot is working without any problem all the time. Because in the last two cm7 based roms that I have used, I faced error in wifi hotspot, So I assumed it to the problem of base ( but Heard no one reporting about that ) .It happened exactly when I tried to send files using fast file transfer, after that, even if I access wifi hotspot from system settings, it will show some error ( not turning on ) but sometimes wifi hotspot works.

but could you please check the following things just to make things smoother
- I could not turn on BlueTooth, but after a reflash it is working ?!
- Home button was not working when i flashed the rom, but after the first reboot after flashing it works ?!
- Wifi Hotspot / usb tethering where can i find this option??? would be nice to have it in this rom. Or is there another app i need to install for this?

Hello sir. For me all work at first boot and wifi hotspot it's hidden (in the next release i will fix it)

the rom is awesome n fast..but i have suggestion if dont mind, in app drawler i saw the gap between icons is tight may be you can make wider like a standar drawler..
