[Q] how to change the lock screen for csl mi 410

Here is my one more question.. i had recently used miui and it has so many custom lock screen .. well lets not talk about that becoz when i used miui it was doing nothin bt jst hanging so much so i restored my phone to rc2 now my question is to change the lock screen we have here
i liked that 5 way unlock on miui and there was also one which has a slider simple sober slider to slide right to unlock and scroll down to unlock is also cool ... is there any possibilities to change to these lock screens .?

ya i was wondering that too.. can i get stock lock of FIH-FB0 back...

Hmm thanx for sharing same problem hope it will be resolved soon.. there are certain apps for this like widgetlocker and all bt i dont wanna use those apps i rather like some codes and some copy pasting

i also dont want to use that..i want one app for one thing in my phone.. i was also wondering if can delete the rc2 launcher.. as i use...go launcher...lol

oh yaa sure u can do that .. if u have go launcher installed .. then just use titanium backup to uninstall .. i also tried and it worked its named as something like sharpui uninstall it bt first ofcourse make a backup play it

there is only one person giving time for miui rom is proff tj. soon he will release the final version with wifi fix and i think that would be final one..

Be patience.... you are not the only one facing the problem.... majority of us are facing it too... furthermore, like kshitij_bhatt says that theres only one developer working on the rom tat is Mr TJ... so lets try and help whatever we can to make the rom even more stable and bug free...

more than sufficient option
for changing lock screen what i can suggest is that use third party lock screens..they are much better with custom wallpaper selection,icons for shortcut to apps direct from lock screen.some of them are go locker, magic locker.they also supports themes and there are so many themes in playstore.my personal recomendation would be magic locker with htc sense 3.0 theme.try it

i root my phone before for long time...and this is the first time...
wheni press the buttom ,the words 'HTC' appear ,but after a few second ,the monitor change to black colour and reboot again
Before it ,i had played 'Eternal Legacy' ,but my phone stopped working and the monitor stay in the same image.....
I was charging my phone and playing 3D games ,maybe the problem is too hot???

Try powering on your phone holding volume down and the power button.
Are you able to get into the Bootloader?
Then you could access recovery and reflash the ROM.

But how to refresh???Install the rom zip again???or any recovery rom ????

Yes, reinstall the ROM or another rom.
You'll have to do a fresh install so hopefully you had stuff backed up

[Q] about criskelo ics v2 rom

May i know why criskelo ics rom thread was deleted? he was created a really good rom

Yeah I just saw it half hour ago and was gonna download it to try but can't find it too.

I'm using it now. Smooth as butter. Nice theming as well . Only missing point is Samsung apps is not included in rom. I was going to type it in the thread but i recognised it was gone

yeh im using it now as daily, almost perfect rom, but damn why it was removed :O

Is the thread been deleted ( if so why ? ) or is it my browser that is acting up ???

Last thing I saw was that there was some discussion on wether or not this rom was (partly) midnite rom, without ginving due credit. It was put to attention of the mods. Apperently there was enough truth in that claim that the thread was deleted.

i flashed repack chainfires, made some reboots to settle ics, then made full wipe and flashed criskelo rom and no problems for me, no fc, no lag, just now i faced up with one problem, wtf criskelo rom thread was deleted -.-

flashing is just like u mentioned. Clock widget doesn't work but the rom is rock solid

criskelo rom = good rom i follow his rom since I900>I9100>note but now he leave.....

i flashed it too, but why am i getting FC when I double click on the screen with the pen

Because SNote Lite is not included in Rom. Double tapping with Spen makes system trying to open an app doesnt exist.

can we include s-note lite and how

I have a little problem with this rom. Everything work well except one thing: the last line of my keybord is totaly messed up. I'm french so Azerty keybord and when I press B (for exemple), it shows N on the screen.

Its already mentioned there is a bug in sms app.
Eybee is working to fix it.
Wait till u get it fixed.

The problem i encounter in this rom is the home button isn't working, keyboard always capslocked, the message that i have typed isnt automatically erased. After that everything is fine. Can't wait for this rom to be perfect.

home button not working then call yourself.
If your home button is not working, try call yourself. This fixed it for me.

On RocketROM JB v1 with an almost full 64gb card. In the first 24 hours the battery consumption was terrible and the gallery was taking over a minute to come up. A whopping 63% of battery was being used by media services. Finally all has settled down in the last six hours and battry draining more normally.

Even though my flash counter is 0,i just tried the app now
It succesfully booted up,but as my flash counter is already zero,i cant say it really works

that facebook apk work?

So far it is a very nice rom in my use of it. Tested camera, flash, gps, speakers, notification lights, many apps (including installing facebook app and logging in, but not actually using it more than that), etc. So far so good. Everything seems to be working. Thank you very much msfkonsole for making it available.
(Edit: backlights on soft buttons are working fine; no problem.)

Fantastic ROM. I have been using CM 12.1 and post that I used CM 13. But this is better than all of them [including MIUI 7.1]
But Facing the following problems:
1. No Transparent Status Bar
2. Weather not working - neither on the status bar, nor on the lock screen
3. Cannot change the Lock Screen Wallpaper through settings
Please help to fix this

1. The Status bar is definitely transparent on my phone. (Did you do a clean install?)
2. I also haven't gotten the weather to work.
3. Lockscreen wallpaper does not change for me either.
I'd also like to be able to adjust the soft buttons backlight brightness like I could in CM12.1.
But all those are only very minor problems, and this is proving to be a very good rom for me.

Edit: I just installed latest 5.6.6 using Philz Touch with rom in root folder of external SD card. No problem.

Try this to get the newest version 5.6.6: https://basketbuild.com/devs/resurrectionremix/dior You will also need this kernel patch: https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Msf_Console&dl=Msf_Console/RR/kernel/edgefix_20160403.zip. Just flash the patch after your flash the rom.

Another little bug. Flashlight not showing up in the Quick Setting Panel in v5.6.6 with edge touch bug fix kernel update.
Edit: reboot solved that problem, but I don't know why it happened in the first place.

I can't give any "official" suggestion. I first just installed and wiped cache & dalvik cache. But then I had some weird things happening (strange lag), so I wiped it and started over with a clean install (wipe, flashed 5.6.6 rom, flashed the patched kernel, reboot). YMMV, but that's how it worked for me.

btw any link for kernel..i never patch any kernel ..dunno how to use and what for ..(nubie )

The link is from post #9 on page one by nz_mincemeat (https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Msf_Console&dl=Msf_Console/RR/kernel/edgefix_20160403.zip). You just download that zip file, and then flash it from recovery just like you would do with a new rom. It replaces the boot.img ("kernel") and one file, and that solves the edge scrolling problem with the 5.6.6 rom. No need to wipe or do a fresh install when flashing that patch.

Hmm, strange. This file, edgefix_20160403.zip, right?
I'm using CWM based Philz Touch Recovery, but I don't know if that is the issue or not. If you were able to flash the rom, I can't see why you can't flash the edgefix update.
I'm having a few weird troubles though. Twice today I had the screen freeze for a time, and then when it came back, it was jumping around as if an invisible finger was touching all over the screen randomly. I had to force a reboot both times. That's not a minor bug. Also, I've had it turn on in my pocket and start to do pocket-dialing. At least I can hear it when that starts. Is there a setting to eliminate pocket dialing?
Edit: Ah, I see that 20160406 is released. Maybe I'll give that a try and see if it still has those problems.
