by the way, i use samsung galaxy mini
u have go widget transparent theme u can use it for go widgets
but i don't use GO Widget right now..
is there any other way than using GO Widget?
Go to the main themes section...there are many transparent widget mods posted in a thread..just search transparent widgets or something..u should just open the apk and change the background if u want to do it yourself that is.

Hi
Is there a way to make the Background of Widgets transparent? E.g. Fancy Widget.
There is a thread with a number a widgets and a tutorial on how to make the widgets transparent yourself.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=796399
Check it out. The thread owner takes requests and I've been really satisfied with the Apps I've tried so far.

Is there a way to remove the text under the home screen icons? Any apps or anything? And I know Bettercut lets you remove the text, but I also want to remove the space (Which Bettercut doesn't let you do) so I can just have the icons.
Using Serendipity 5.12.
Thanks!

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted.
Edit: It leaves a little space under the icon >.< Darn it.

use the 1x1 small and not the 1x1 small ss

ADW lets you as well.
Thank you! This is just what I've been looking for. The tip to use the 1x1 widget instead of 1x1ss, or creating it via homescreen is the right one. When you use LP or ADW, as has been suggest in this thread and everywhere else I've looked on the web, it leaves a space below the icon where the text would have been, so it looks clunky when put next to a 1x1 widget. But DesktopVisualiseR AND using the 1x1 widget option that it has, resizes the icon so it's the same size as a widget without any text. Perfect!

Yea. I hope they put it back on the later updates
In fact you can apply your live wallpapers from any apps, like google wallpapers or if you have them stored or instaled from themes, personalize, wallpapers, and you have ours wallpapes somewhere in a live section!

I noticed that after one of the recent updates the default Samsung clock & weather widget has disappeared. The built-in weather app, which used to provide two widgets, now provides only one small "weather only" widget. The wide "clock & weather" version is gone. What exactly happened? Did they move it to some other app? If so, what app is it? It is kinda hard to believe that they killed the widget that is featured on each and every promotional shot of the tablet.

Oops... Sorry. Apparently it is not a Samsung issue, but a Nova Launcher issue. TouchWiz launcher "sees" both widgets, but Nova Launcher doesn't. Does anyone by any chance know what might be the problem here?
what launcher your using ?

There's no digital clock widget for this phone when using the google launcher? Is it only present in HTC's Blinkfeed?

The clock widget is an HTC Sense UI feature and afaik requires HTC clock, HTC location services and HTC weather to work properly. These app will only work on with Sense IU framework but I remember a thread where ppl where able to port HTC apps for all devices, I'll try to find it for you...
