Like I mention in every one of these threads, Status 7 is, at least 99% of the time, a bad download. Redownload and verify the MD5 checksum.
The MD5 for the official nightly is "513639551c586888db38bc9b17c7dab2". Use this program to verify the MD5 checksum.

Thank you. I just flashed that recovery and it worked.
I'm having the same problem with every single 4.4 and 4.4.x rom. I've tried removing the lines of code method already, running 6.0.2.8 cwm

4.4 needs the latest CWM to install. Try using Philz Touch Recovery or install the latest img from the Clockwork website.
I don't know if any of you guys solved your issues but you need to download cm11 onto external SD card then download philz touch version of cwm also on ESD card. Flash philz touch in your already existing cwm whatever version that may be. I forgot if it will boot back into recovery automatically but get back into recovery. If you are soft bricked get back in recovery by holding the power and vol up button I think and just flash rom as normal wipe data/cache/dalvik etc. That's how fixed my status 7 and flashed OSE 4.4.2 and loving it. Hope I helped.

Try flashing Phil's Recovery, it should be version 6.0.4.5. Once I flashed Phil's I have not had a failed flash of any 4.4 Rom.
Here is the link in case you need it.

Hello everybody.
I was trying to install CyanogenMod 11.0 for Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 but after getting Status 7 error, I did some research and found out that I had to update the CWM to the newest one.
I updated it successfully from the old CWM and after restart it booted me into the new one. Than I rebooted the phone and since then, it started looping. It doesn't go into recovery mode. Only if I push Volume Down + home + Power, it goes into Download Mode.
I googled but I couldn't find anything that would help.
I'm inexperienced in die-hard tweaking on Android but I'm not a newbie in mobile phones (Proud ex owner of N900).
Please help and thank you in advance

One sure way to fix this is to go back to stock. You said that you can go to download mode. So use odin to flash stock.
Another way would be to use adb to get into recovery, but I don't know if you have access to adb.

I have never used cwm 6.0.4.7. I always used cwm 6.0.4.5 and I had no problem installing CM 11 with this. So what I suggest is:
-First flash cwm via odin (whatever version you find available).
-Then via cwm flash an update to cwm-6.0.4.5.
-Then wipe data/cache and /system.
-Flash cm11.
-(Perhaps flash gapps?)
-Reboot and enjoy (it will take a lot of a time to boot for first time so be patient)
Warning: While using cwm 6.0.3.2 avoid using option "reboot to recovery". This is what will get you stuck in a recovery bootloop.
After upgrating to 6.0.4.5 you should be ok.

It has internal SD mount problems, but not everyone has this problem. For some it just works fine.
Also I think that 6.0.4.7 also has the same problem.
Finally there is a 6.0.4.5 that I've uploaded that avoids mounting internal SD and only mounts external SD. Just for those who have mount problems and still want to install KitKat (because KitKat needs cwm 6.0.4.5 +)
thanks

I was hoping you fixed the issue. I don't know what to do.
It's a matter of unlocking the boot loader. Once you do that, you can jump back and forth between ICS-based ROMs and everything else.
Gingerbread ROMs include the boot loader (marvel and Huexxx).

I think the bootloader it's unlocked because I can acces CWM from switch off phone(key combo)....I am confused because i read many tutorials but they are contradictory
That happends also with me 2 times.

No, I don't tried to unlock bootloader, but like you , I got the bootloops every time I downgrade from ICS, Nameless or cyanogen roms . I use original Froyo - flashed with SFT , then upgrade to GB with Cwm recovery patch- flashed with SFT, then boot to recovery and install Nameless. Did you already try the alternative way without the app? Which means load the files to your sdcard and afterwards type the dd if=xxxx of=xxxx? This could show if it works or fails. And did you ever flash the LU5900 port? So the early ICS ROM released by Redy, Gabwerkz and me. Try the manual unlock first.

OK I have the terminal emulator on my phone.
I've read the thread and it says "Move this two files, bootloader and recovery to the root of memory sdcard;
Enter in the command line
su
dd if=/sdcard/u-boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
And reboot or reboot recovery."
I have downloaded all on my laptop(bootloader recovery and su) but I am confuse....what's with that "su"?
Do I have to put it on the root of the sdcard too?
Sorry for my noob question
Hi guys,
Ok, so I've searched through everything and I still can't find an answer to my problem. So, basically, I have just installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia SP successfully using CWM recovery and then I wanted to reboot my phone again into CWM, so that I could install gapps, but I just couln't. Despite pushing right buttons while booting or making him boot into recovery mode, he always turns on the system. I can't get into flash tool either, but maybe it is because I have a blocked bootloader. I don't know if it's a valid info, but I have used "Wipe data/factory reset" before installing Cyanogenmod 11.
Please, help me, as I have no clue what to do now :<

Maybe his bootloader can't be unlocked.
But if it can be (just dial *#*#7378423#*#* and check bootloader status), I too would suggest unlocking it. Makes flashing and customizing so much more easier and there infinitely more ROM's and other files to choose from.
Of course take a TA backup before you unlock your bootloader or your warranty's gone for good.
Hi Everyone,
Im now using slim lp rom with sabermod which is installed, i was wondering which tangerine kernel version is more stable and can be used for either candy5 rom or slim lp rom or even stryflex rom? Can it also beat an iphone 6 through performance?
From Nandan
Use the latest version.
To install it flash the zip in recovery.
No, you wont beat the iphone 6 performance. The hardware is much powerfull and the kernel wont make any miracles.

If recovery doesnt show up you can install an app called "Rashr - Flash Tool" and install the recovery from there. You need to be rooted.
I dont know if the recovery partition is the same as the boot/kernel partition. Ih It's not, you could also install recovery trought fastboot mode. But I'd give Rashr a try, if rooted.
