I recently installed CM7 after rooting my phone with Superoneclick and installing Clockworkmod. However, after installation of CM7, i managed to boot up the system, played around with it and realised that i needed to install the google addon as well. So i rebooted the phone to enter into CWM recovery, however the problem started.
My phone is now stucked on the LG logo screen and would not change. I left the phone in that state till the battery went dead. Recharged the phone and it remained on that screen.
Tried to connect the phone to the PC to flash it with smartflash, but it doesnt work at all. I removed the battery and held the volume down button while plugging in the usb cable. All i see is the phone stucked on the white LG logo screen.
Is there any way that i can reformat the contents of the phone or is my phone certified?
All help would be much appreciated!
Power up directly to cwm by pressing power button and volume down key at the same time.
Once in cwm, full wipe including /system and reflash cm and gapps.
Good luck.
I have tried that method as well. Sorry. Forgot to mention it in my initial post. It didn't work. I have tried to pull the battery, hold down the volume down and power button for at least 20 times now. Each time i get the same screen. The CWM menu does not come up.
Any other ways?

Hmm.....if u can't power to cwm directly then perhaps try smartflash to any stock rom.
1. Download any stock rom
2. Start smartflash app from pc
3. In power off mode, just press volume down to boot to software update screen. Start smartflash stock rom.
4. Boot up stock rom
5. Install rom manager and flash cwm from rom manager. (Or download cwm from Rusty! Cwm thread)
6. Boot to recovery
7. Flash cm rom
8. Flash gapps
Remove battery, hold both vol buttons and plug in USB. Screen should stay blank, but Windows will pick up an APX device. Now NVFlash back to stock and start again.
yup, tried the exact method that you suggested too. But it doesnt work. Still gets stuck at the LG logo.

This method worked! But i have another problem, windows found an APX device, tried to install it but failed. It says driver was not found. Do i have to install a specific driver for this to work? Thanks!
Yes, good point: http://android.modaco.com/topic/335...k-rom-release-v10b-dated-1300166062-15032011/
I have managed to flash the phone and it is back working now. Thank you so much for your help rusty and temasek!
Hi, first post, hope the thread is not too old.
Unfortunately this is my best chance.
I have the same problem on my O1:
Updated from mik's beta 6.5.7 to beta 6.5.8 with the clockwork manager, at the reboot, I was stuck on lg logo.
Unfortunately usb + both volume buttons didn't work.
It remains still at the lg logo.
Pressing home + both volume, it repeately reboots.
In every case I can't go in recovery mode, so I can't wipe the system folder.
Any help will be appreciated,
thank for your time!
PS: sorry, maybe thread in p500, cm7 will be more appropriate.
hold power button + volume down button for 5-10 seconds may work, phone will reboot into recovery mode, then you are able to flash a stock rom or restore your nandroid-backup (if you made one)
good luck, hope it helps you
thanks, I saw a useful post here:

Then I proceded as you wrote.
Now I'm stuck at adroid logo, without the chance to wipe cache.
The recovery does not start: loading bar and then forced reboot...
I don't know what to do
nvflash
maybe you try this link
android.modaco.com/topic/335416-nvflash-setup-instructions-drivers-links-active/
Sorry, i don't get the link working, copy it in your browser, then it should work (i'm posting with my phone that's why the link is'nt correct, but it works with browser, i tried it out)
If the link doesnt work, search 'nvflash lg p990 instructions' with google, you'll see the modaco website with the instructions and the download links
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
Thank you. A few hours ago, I managed to make it working.
Thanks for your answers, I appreciated.
nvflash is the way to go. Always make sure to use the usb ports on your motherboard (back of your computer) and not some usb hub or so.
Had a black screen for 8 hours, not able to boot, flash, recover or anything.
Changed usb port and I was able to flash the phone again.
My lg optimus black p970g will not turn on and when i plug it into my computer while holding vol + usb nothing happens
This happened after i was using smartflash and i choose Erase entire AP & Erase user data. It said that it completed fine and after a reboot it wont turn on.
No leds or anything, just black.

I think, your phone is hard bricked.
If at least phone turns on, you can try Rewriting IMEI process, then problem will be solved.
Take some developer's advice and confirm the device's problem will be solved or not.
If not, you have to go to LG service center.
You should NOT check erase entire (what it now is)

Big thanks to RC
Hey, xda-developers !
Here I will write everything I'd done with me phone that have put it into bootloop.
First I dropped it into shower. I qucikly put it out, and dried. It was working till the noon. Then after I was putting my phone into sleep (power button) it was hanging, and I had to pull the battery out and turn it on again. After several resets, I decided to do factory reset, and Install CM11 again, but I wasn't able to pass the "language choose" screen - my screen wasn't recognizing the bottom part of the screen. I mean I could choose my language but I couldn't click "next". Then after restart my phone is stuck at lg logo.
What I tried to do:
Install official LG .KDZ - still LG logo
Recover and update software with LG mobile support tool - still LG logo
I can't turn on my phone without being pluged in charger, I can't get into recovery, I only can get S/W UPDATE.
Do you have any thoughts how I can fix my phone?
I have a lg optimus l90 and I flashed with with an incompatible rom (noob) so it wasnt
behaving the way I wanted it to so I flashed it to d41510c and now it's in a boot loop ...I know you can get it off by entering recovery mode and wiping the data on my galaxy s4
...is it the same way For this phone? And how do you enter recovery mode? My carrier is t-mobile...thank you for helping all reply are appreciated!
take batteries out and hold the button of including and turning down and when you see the lg logo hold including button and release turning down and make factory reset
My Lg L90 D410 is not booting up. Whenever I am putting the battery, the lg logo is coming automatically(without pressing the power button) and keeps on blinking. Cannot even switch off the device. Not able to go to the recovery mode. Can anyone help me?
I think I'm having the same problem! My d410 (with CM13), restarted from scratch and did not stop more, he calls on the logo of LG, off and back on again soon, this form of loop.
I could not access the recovery or the download mode, the solution was to arrange for assistance.
Factory reset it using the button combo (vol down + power). if you cant do that, enter the phone into download mode by holding vol up and plugging it into a PC, then flash a new stock ROM.
nothing is working... no one is here who can help me???
where are the experts..
LG logo blinking at boot looks like a hardware problem... You can try the fix hard unbrick tutorial before sending it to fix (probably replace the main board):
