Update cya..7.2.0RC1 to RC2 - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hello. Thanks.
Is it posible to update to RC2 without have to install all the aplications?

In recovery don't wipe data but only wipe cache partition and dalvik cache and flash

yes..just wipe cache only..before and after update RC2..thats how i do it,and it works..

I make, just wipe cache only..before and after update RC2, and works....
Thanks

Different CM versions have different CyanogenMod Settings. Just make sure you check your CyanogenMod settings (mainly performance) after following above suggestions.

[Q] Rocksteady ROM Help

This is mostly for anyone who runs kifno's rocksteady ROM, along with his scripts. Essentially, I am not sure how to install both of them together properly. It seems the instructions kind of overlap? And I do not want to wipe anything at the improper time. So if someone could edit these instructions so I could follow them in sequence, I would be grateful. If it makes a difference, I will be flashing the uncapped kernel (768mhz).
P.S. - I've been running xda roms for about a year now, and just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and contributions to the open-source community. To ALL developers
ROM INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions:
1. Backup EVERYTHING (SD Card, Titanium Backup, Nandroid)
2. Wipe EVERYTHING (Data/Factory Rest, Wipe Cache, Format Boot, System, Cache, and Data, Wipe Dalvik)
3. Download and Copy RockSteady & Gapps to your sdcard
Get Rock Steady Here
Get Gapps Here
4. Flash RockSteady and Gapps and Reboot
5. Skips gapps setup and reboot into recovery and wipe data, cache, and dalvik again
6. reboot into system
7. After setting up gapps, in the menu > sense settings > ui setting > check tink ab and make the scale factor 1 instead of 7
8. Long press home screen and create a custom widget with phone as the activity. Then click the phone icon and us es file explorer or gallery and use the transparent.png I provided for you on the root of your SD card. Okay the custom widget and the drag and drop it over the phone button. Do the same for right sense dock button (choose a custom activity of your choice)
9. Add the sense clock by using the fancy widget widget i provided for you.
10. Choose a new wallpaper if you wish by picking one of the sense wallpapers I provided for you on your sdcard's root directory.
11. Please see here about widgetlocker. Please purchase this app from the market to use as the sense lockscreen. I REALLY RECOMMEND IT. And you can easily disable the default lockscreen once you start using this app by going into the cyanogenmod settings > tablet settings > and checking disable lockscreen.

dalvik wont wipe your phone it wipes the main cache that apps run from.
if your rooted best option would be to clean dalvik from recovery and reboot. it will take alot longer to boot, once booted i would suggest using rom manager and fix permissions. then allow it to reboot, if not reboot it yourself and it should sort its self out

[TOOL] Simple full wipe cache flashable zip.

Hi guys,
Didn't saw any simple full wiping cache script for the Galaxy S3, so I decided to make one and share it to the community.
It might help and be useful in some case or if you are lazy like me at some hours
Feature :
Wiping cache
Wiping dalvik-cache
... and .. that's all
Just flash attached file via CMW recovery, (or directly via CF-Root CMW app if you are more lazy than lazy ).
Enjoy !

Flashing it like this will not create any advantage/benefit, but It can mainly solve various problems which is very often concerned by roms, kernel, after apk installation, or maintenance, etc.
How about a version with fix permissions too?

Depends on where you want to put it, but generally people put them into their "/sdcard" folder.
is it possible to create a script that can wipe cache, dalvik, fix permissions, then reboot? that would be really useful
Sent via TCP/IP
what's the problem with just wiping it manually? recovery->advance->wipe dalvik->wipe cache->fix permissions ?
This is for lazy/on-the-go members -_-
Recovery executor by fraggel does this from an app - in addition to flashing zips and installing apks.

CyanVivo 10.1 - camera FC is true

Hey all- I haven't had enough posts to be able to post in the development thread, but wanted to post here.
CLEAN FULL WIPE- formatted all partitions (data, cache, system) wiped Dalvik cache.
Installed latest version of cyanVivo 10.1 - CyanVivo_10.1_04.24 from zip. Installed gapps gapps-jb-20130301-signed from zip.
System boots up fine. Opening camera causes gallery FC every time- wiped gallery app data.
Should I re-build Dalvik?
It is a known issue. The op is aware of it and has said he will make a fix for it. This was all in the thread, maybe page 9 or 10
