I just NVflashed my optimus 2x to stock ROM. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007825)
Now i have a almost invisible LG logo flashing constant in the wallpaper. Like a flickering of light.
I cant regulate the background lights wither. It's just disabled.
What on earth is happening??
I be ever grateful if someone can help me
it goes away after a few reboots, i have had the same thing.
i got a topic on it aswell
thanks mate!
In the meantime, you can change the background. It helps ;-)
Or you can just flash the stock rom with SmartFlash

Hello Everyone,
Before proceeding, I have searched my problem, but I couldnt find an answer to it.
I am basically running GingerDX v26 on Stock Kernel, and whenever i try to install (flash) via CWM, it doesnt intalls,
I came to know about this, when I was trying to flash Sound Module by CKKnot, I didnt got the installation files in my respective directories. Furthermore, i tried flashing ICSified settings, but nothing happened.
Am I doing something wrong, or there is bug??
Please report me, and I will be really grateful to you guyzz!!!

What error do you get ? Try flashing another ROM. Does the ROM flash ? I had problems flashing ICS-ified settings on my GDx v27 (I finally did it)
So probably , we shared the same problem...
Or just use X8 Toolbox to re-install recoveries.
SOLVE
hello !!
please try this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1507021 :good:
everythings work i test it it's owesome:good:
@Mayank77, the roms flash ONLY when i full wipe...:crying:
and this is the reason y i cannot flash some of the flashable zip files.,
PS, it completely shows me everything as normal script, but later when I locate the directory using root explorer, I dont have the files.
I noticed this when I was flashing CKKnots sound module, it related that "delete the files from soundfx folder" later when i flashed nothing was installed!! it was clean. rebooted multiple times but no chance, again i flashed, nothing happened.

You should've told the OP about the kernel requirements before suggesting him that and thus leading him to a soft brick.
I am almost sure he is on stock kernel.
and that ROM is NOT for stock kernel.

I rarely flash update zips.
I did have a problem with icsified settings. What i did was full wipe>flash gdx (i use v28 now), wipe again (to be safe), then flash icsified settings.
Btw my 1st post was a mistake. I was supposed to post that on a diff thread.

What does Odin have to do with flashing a Custom ROM?
Under Flashing ROM you can find the instructions.
You must have CWMR to do this. Here are the instructions for downloading and installing CWMR.
Make sure your phone is rooted.

Excuse me. I missed a night worth of sleep.
I thought you tried to flash a Custom ROM via Odin.
What version of Odin are you using?
Also, changing the baseband version will not do anything good.
Can you clarify "stuck at white android logo"?

New Experience Stock rom, it has a white Android logo, just like the "android" word before the bootanimation starts..
after this, for a long time, it will become black screen, and I tried to wait for the black screen to stop, but it doesnt I waited overnight..

This is the ROM you're talking about if I'm not mistaken.
That's quite odd, if you don't mind waiting for 10 minutes so I can test it out myself. I will reply to you if I encounter the same problem

Well it seems I can't help you, I can't even get it past the samsung.com at the beginning.
After flashing it, I suggest you wipe cache and data. From here, post it in the development thread.

Hey changing baseband wont work, i wont recommend you to change your baseband. You mite end up into hardbrick or no network problems.
Try install another rom first (try any)
then flash your desired rom.
Always DO full WIPE.
I helped you? Wow, lol., then Don't thank me, rather follow me on twitter

Hello,
First I used Se7en Rom v3.3. It worked perfectly. Then I decided to update to v3.8 so I wiped cache and dalvik cache. Installed the v3.8 Rom. Wiped cache and dalvik cache again and reboote the phone. It booted just fine, I could choose the language and connect to WiFi, but then It rebooted to the bootloader.
Now I have tried to install every rom that's available but with every rom it boots and then reboots to the bootloader. Can anyone help me with this problem? I really don't know what to do!
I hope someone can help me solve this problem!

Now I have discovered something strange. I have installed Se7en Rom v3.3 and it boots. I can get to the google welcome screen and into settings etc. But when the phone is booted, the screen glitches and show some weird things randomly, like a cable isn't connected properly. It doesn't matter what ap i'm in. It always shows weird glitchy things.
I also discovered it always reboots to the bootloader after exactly 1 minute and 5 seconds after pressing the power button. So it isn't random, as I first thought.

hmm, now it sais the bootloader is "locked" in stead of "unlocked". Does that mean I have my warranty back? Then I'm just going to send it back to Huawei for warranty.

No haha, first it was unlocked. Now it is locked. I really don't know how I did it but now I have warranty again. So I am going to send it for repair in stead of trying myself.

I had a custom rom and cwm recovery when the bootloader was locked. Now I've deleted that rom and restored the stock recovery, so they can't see I had a custom rom. I think I'm just very lucky

i have try many roms "sotck / costom roms"
Well I have the feeling you might have flashed something not correctly. But I'm not sure what you could have done to get the phone into this state.
If you're running stock try a factory reset. If your on a ROM update it or use another.
Do you have this problem with all ROMs?
