my phone now have eclair 2.2.1 and i have one big problem....when i change language ( in this case croatian ) and apply settings my phone is on english again...in settings on croatian but in phone text is english
pls help giving thanks button xDD
Are you sure you're on Eclair? Cuz Eclair is 2.1 and you are saying you're on 2.2.1...which is Froyo.

I guess you are still on eclair, so you have three choices:
1) root and add hebrew fonts and keyboard but no RTL support.
2) flash your phone to jg8 firmware which comes with built in hebrew fonts and RTL support.
3) flash your phone to froyo firmware(or wait for one).

I flashed my phone to I9000XXJPK which is an european Froyo release and no hebrew keyboard .. but I can read now

I've just received my captivate and updated it to 2.1.1 from cognition, is there any way to add the portuguese language to swype ?! i know that the brazilian i9000 version has swype in portuguese so how can i get it too ?

hello there!!! ive bought my SGS on ebay from england and upgraded it immediately on froyo via odin from XDA. my problem is that it has greek language on the menu but it doesnt on typing an sms!! is there a froyo version supporting greek typing?? im not interested on using swype. just greek will be fine!! thanks!

Really it's not working! Funny, I thought this is the way, although I've never used it. I have only 3 contacts in cyrilic and they are at bottom of the list so it is not hard to find them.
