Help me identify an app as well as offer your app suggestions. - Xoom Themes and Apps

Hi! Alrighty, This is my first thread on here and im quite sorry if my question(s) can be answered elsewhere, But unfortunately after a good hour or so of google searching I couldn't find an answer. So I apologize in advance, But on with the point of my thread.
First, Can someone help me identify which app is used in this picture. Im not sure which section of the android market to even begin to start looking for it, It could be in photography, tools, productivity. paid or free.. and I really haven't a clue where to start. So any help would be appreciated.

Edit; Ignore the second portion of this, Just discovered plex read's my itunes library xD.

I think that is the digital pen support the HTC Flyer come with. I would imagine that is not downloadable from the Market.

Program to have Stock Ticker On Home Screen?

Anyone know of a program that displays the stock ticker on your home screen, preferably that updates regularly or on demand, similar to the htc weather.
Thanks.

I agree with kumar00455. This was completely unnecessary. This forum is here for a reason and you cannot guarantee that he didn't search the forum. Sometimes things are harder to find. Try going through a few hundred threads. If someone gets misdirected or makes an error, I think we must all use our good judgment and direct them to where they can be address properly . Not turn them down--that defeats the purpose of a community!
Anywho, I found something you may like that displays stocks on the Today screen as a plug in. Personally, I haven't used it myself, but you may want to give it a try.

thanks for the links guys i appreciate it,...and i did search the forum, didnt really find much. Not only was i looking for a program that displays the stocks on the homescreen updated, but as well anyone's feedback about which programs are better for this purpose, or which ones have worked better for you.
Thank you for explaining that i should learn to count to 10. That post was extremely helpful and i would like to express my deepest gratitude to that wonderful moderator for such an insightful tip. That was definately feedback at its finest.
lol thanks guys.

Are there any apps like these on the Nexus One?

I was wondering if there are any apps like "cydia" or "install0us" on the iPhone or even like "OMarket" on windows mobile?
Nope... no alternative markets AT ALL for Android. Not sure where you'd get that idea.
unlike the iphone or win-mo, its easier for devs to submit apps to the android store... so there's not need for an alternate store

Lol...except there IS an alternate store. SlideMe is available... My original post was only because the guy asked a question that could easily have been answered by searching.

There actually is. Aptoide / Blapk Market.
apktor ftw
thanks for the real responses, very helpful...
uansari1 there is no need for your response, it could have been omitted...if you wanted to emphasize that I should have just searched (which I did) then you could have said so without giving a smart *** response which leads to nothing productive and just an up in your post count (maybe thats what you want? ) honestly...what do you get out of your initial response ? nothing...what -maybe a laugh? (a mild chuckle at that ?) haha seriously...I hate when people post these condescending/ lame responses...but I understand if someone is trying to say just search or something, should have avoided your response and just said your intended message directly
any ways- thanks for ALL responses...I appreciate your feedback/ advices...

How do I root a Stock N1 FRF91?

Hi Guys
I agree there are TONS of threads on this forum, but somehow, not all of them describe the same steps (or maybe just that I'm a little too confused)
I have a stock unlocked N1 with FRF91 and would like to root my phone
Basically the whole idea behind rooting my N1 is to be able to use ShootMe (screenshot app)
Can someone please give me some step-by-step instructions on how to do it?
I'm actually a n00b at Android, so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!
I don't think there is a way yet with stock.

I'll give you a hint, though. You need to find two threads to do what you need. Both the threads that you need are in the first page of the dev forum. The mere act of glancing over the titles of the thread won't get you anywhere, try reading some of them for a change.
EDIT-I take it back, there's only one thread you need to find. And considering how prominent a position it's holding in that forum, it's plain obvious that you haven't bothered to look.

The whole point of these forums is to help people out, not to degrade them. They might be new to the site and dont know how its set up. Try not being a jerk and actually help them out. You know like direct them to the thread w/ a link.

No, I didn't go through the thread before deciding to not link it. I just know that the thread is there. If you had looked for it, you would have seen it. The previously-mentioned thread has been stickied in the previously-mentioned forum for at least a week now. Considering that stickied topics are an obvious READ-ME-FIRST tactic, well, you should have known better and actually looked.
And yes, it would have been a lot easier--a lot easier for you, had I posted the link. Waiting for someone else to do the work for your is not how you learn.

Hidden Programming Menu

I just got off the phone with support attempting to get my SMS working correctly and they had me go into a menu I had not seen anyone mention in here yet. This is a programming menu that you find on other android devices although I hadn't seen anyone find it for the droid X yet. Here is how to enter it-
##7764726

It was getting into a menu very similar to this on the Droid Incredible that enabled us to get Wifi Hotspot working without subscription.
Tinker away.

No wonder there is zero development inspiration for this phone. The emo teenieboppers will just be unappreciative and immature and ruin the community anyhow, so why bother?

It's only an option to enable/disable cmas which has something to do with with emergency alerts.
There is also another menu to access which the number is listed below, which I found in another thread here in the DX forums, but it seems to have been abandoned(the thread I mean).

My implication was the inability to use search with 900+ posts under your belt. Instead just adding to the clutter of repetitive threads; which is unappreciative, immature, and ruin's the community.
Just because you don't see development, you again assume there is little inspiration... that's a little mind speaking.

Actually, since the entire Droid X forum here gets less hits than my personal website (which is unlisted, unadvertised and mostly for my friends and family), discouraging anyone from posting anything that might be additional or useful information is FAR more damaging to any community you might think you serve (FYI, "the community" is not considered "you and you alone" - despite what your parents may teach you).
If YOU (of course, that's what you are thinking of here) don't like it, hit the back button. If you need guidance in locating this tool in your browser, send me a PM and I will work through it with you since I am familiar with pretty much every major browser out there.

I know there is development, but not NEARLY as much as other phones released at the same time, and certainly the majority of it isn't discussed here. Gee, wonder why.
When you;
a) Figure out that you do not speak for any community or, in fact, comprise the majority opinion just because you think you do
and
b) Find the back button or the link located at the top of the page that takes you to the message list
THEN you can even begin to talk to me. Until then, let the discussion resume with the big people and you just stay quiet and let other people do all the work.
Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi,im new to the site.Have a Samsung Transform...For those of you that dont know it looks like the Epic hardware wise and like the Moment software wise.
My question is if anyone has an iphone dock and icon pack for launcher pro plus.Im familiar with applying docks but not icons...Sorry if its been asked just cant find it.
Thanks in advance.
Icons: Here.
Longpress any dock shortcut > Change icon.
Dock: Here's a nice collection. If not, Google helps.
"Glass" under Apperance settings > Dock backgrounds also works.

This is the best answer I have ever seen.....
Yeah. It was a **** answer too.
The whole reason people post in this forum is to seek help and help others.
If you take the time to be a douche and post one of those "Let Me Google That For You" links, then you might as well just help them.
Being from a senior member too, that knows exactly where those icon sets are, and could easily have pointed them in the RIGHT direction. Or even provided them with the icons.
If they wanted to Google it, they would have. Not asked the question in the forum where it should be. Just sayin'. ;D

A **** answer?
There are literally a thousand - No, a million iPhone icon sets on the web.
Google iPhone icons and you get 10 relevant pages on the first search.
The fifth link was actually iPhone icons over at DeviantART where there would be a thousand more related icon packs.

Most people come here and ask questions without searching. This is a very, very basic question that would have been 'resolved' with a quick search either here on XDA or Google. If you feel "Let me Google that for you" is a '****' link then I assure you I was not trying to be a ****. I was given that link at some point and realized Google'ing might be a good idea before raising a question or creating a thread.
You're very helpful yourself, Mr.God. Your answer to this thread really helped the OP more out than I did.

Couldn't agree more, this is why XDA is going down the pan, because of idiots diluting the forums all the time. Then you get children like "God!" who think its fine to post silly questions but not ok to give silly answers, Although the answer given was not actually silly as it 100% answered the OP's question and took him directly to what he needed aswell as also a lesson to use XDA search or Google FIRST.
