[WANTED] Riptide GP for Tegra 2 - Xoom Themes and Apps

Android Market won't allow me to install MotoPack, because I am in Brazil. The only thing from MotoPack that interests me is Riptide GP for Tegra 2.
Is there anyone who can send me the APK that, for the Xoom?
Thanks in advance.

The app costs $2.99 so that would be asking for Warez..... which isn't allowed.
The Motopack app just shows apps that are tablet optimized and links to them in the Android Market, you should be able to just go into the Market and find the app listed there, then pay your US $2.99 and be happy you have a great game to play.

HI,
i cant find the fifa 10 app in the market? (the fifa 10 game) has any one found it? or is this a known bug in the stock rom
I can see it, but I added the Eris Market Fix to enable all apps. Try that if you didn't before.

Im on the same FW and Voodoo Fix, i can see Caligo,
Rerun Eris, reboot and let your phone startup normaly, then shutdown, then boot to recovery mode and click "wipe/clean cache"
Then give it about 10 mins for the paid apps including your Caligo to appear..
What games aren't on the market.
I was just wondering what high end games or apps might be out there that aren't on the market. I just found out about gameloft are there others? Also has the unreal engine 3 made its way to android yet I was looking around and found only older articles saying it might be. The technology demo for it on the I phone look amazing.

From experience, the games from Gameloft aren't on the market. You have to buy them directly from their website. These games include N.O.V.A. HD, UNO HD, Avatar HD, etc etc. There are around 10 or so "HD" games that all have pretty good graphics. I'm not too sure how they are gameplay-wise but I've heard a lot about N.O.V.A... Check out videos on Youtube for this and other Gameloft games.
If you aren't from one of the countries that the full Android market is available in, then you won't be seeing ALOT and you won't be seeing the paid games if that's what you've been searching for. There's a sim emulator app floating around somewhere that would bypass that and as long as you have a valid credit card then you'd be able to buy games and stuff from the market and from gameloft.
Dunno about any really great free games that aren't on the market though..
Hope that helped!
Thanks for the reply. I'm in Canada so I get paid apps but like you said gameloft games arent on the market and if you didn't read form like xda or use apps like buzz you would never know they exist. So I'm wondering if there are other companys out there the have games that aren't on the market free or paid.

I found Gameloft games through Youtube actually. So far, that's pretty much all I know that isn't in the Android market. It's taking some time for the big developers out there to roll out Android versions of their games but I know of a lot that are working towards that. Expect though that as soon as they do have something, they'd release it via the Android market since that's the main form of distribution for those things anyway. I have no idea why Gameloft chose to ignore the Android market way of distributing games. I guess they want to handle piracy issues their way.
The Android market isn't as strict as the App Store of Apple. That's why there are a lot of other sources of iOS apps out there that provide apps and games not in or not yet in the App store (since they weren't approved or are taking a while to be approved).
You dont need to pay all the gameloft game..just search at 4shared.com 4 example nova.apk.. But i've a problem to install the other game data to memory card because after preinstallation at hp it required install the game data to memory card..anyone can help me please..

I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to be encouraging piracy in this forum.

New free Flash-based games from Kongregate

Kongregate was bought by GameStop a while ago and now they are offering their app in the Market which will allow you to play over 300 free flash based games.
While this isn't on par with for-pay games from companies like Polarbit or Gameloft, it's something and it's free.
Here's the article.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/18/kongregate-arcade-hits-android-gamestop-shoving-free-flash-game/
Update: The app has been removed from the Market with Google saying they didn't do it and GameStop saying that Google did do it. Meh, whatever. Here's the direct link below to download it from Kongregate directly.
http://www.kongregate.com/android
Aside from the main screen(s) being only in portrait mode, all the games I've tried go full-screen landscape mode and run really well.
Here's to another time-killer.
hum.. It does not show up in the market for me. Was the app already pulled?
Arrgh! Another app that I can't see in market !
Jim
No show here
You can download the app directly from Kongregate!

I did a search in the Market on my g Tab running VEGAn rom beta 5.1 and it showed up for me. I am using Swype and had to modify my properties file to mimic a Galaxy Tab. Maybe that's why it showed for me?
Dude! Gotta tell me how you got swype going! Thats awesome!

The instructions are in the thread below. I can't live without Swype on my gTab and my Droid X. My job issued me an iPhone 4 and an iPad and wish I could use Swype on them as well.
Anyway, here it is.

Kongregate Arcade is back in the Market
This app is available in the Market again after they made some changes to the app. The downloaded games are no longer saved to the sd card so you can play them later without launching the arcade app first. Now the arcade app runs the games in memory.
It's still free and runs great on my VEGAn rom beta 5.1 gTab.

Peggle for Android is finally here

I don't always keep the best track of stuff, but when I woke up I found an email saying that today Peggle was free for download. I went to the page then tried to "buy it" via the amazon appstore app on my coom and got an incompatible error. But, I didn't give up, no, I just "bought it" from the site and when it showed up in the download area on my amazon appstore app I downloaded it and it installed and is working as well as plants vs zombies on my Xoom.
I can confirm that the method OP used, does in fact work. Was getting the same incompatible device message, and getting it through the website worked. Was able to "buy" Peggle and then it showed up in the downloads on my Xoom.
Not available in the Market?

Not as of now. For now it is sadly only Amazon appstore exclusive.
Thanks, work for me to (purchase from the web and install from the amazon app)!
Where do you purchase from the web? What's the website.
I must be spoiled because I'm already craving a THD version. Looks too blurry to me

I wouldn't mind a THD version, but to be the graphics are good enough expecially for a game I got for free, but to be honest I am hoping they just update like the maker of angry birds did instead of us having to "buy" the game again...
Actually, to be honest I find this to have better graphics then PvZ which is odd bc Amazon said that PvZ was good with Tabllets and that Peggle wasn't
PVZ graphics are way better. At least the version I have. The game is fun though. Thanks OP for the trick to make WIFI downloads work. The game is fun and takes me back to my Shenmue days when I would spend a lot of time playing a similar game.
I was able to install from the appstore app on xoom just by trying a few times. Works perfectly.

getjar

Did you guys try getjar ? Bunch of free games and apps overthere. I even got 3 different version of angry birds game that works on Viewsonic G tablet.

Thanks for the info, I have been using it on the EVO 4g for a few weeks!
Getjar is great. I have a few apps from it: splashtop, angry birds, beautiful widgets, solo.
The thing I really like about it is that you do not need to have the getjar app installed to run the apps. Unlike the amazon appstore app.

Multiplayer apps that work with IOS

I'm looking for apps/games that can be played cross platform with an IOS device. Since a friend as an iPhone I was wondering if there are any apps that could do this?
Words With Friends- off the top of my head. Of course the Android version is the red-headed step child of the favored (by Zanga) almighty iDevice version. They don't even offer a paid version for Android version so we get bloated up with ads.
I'll be following this thread too as I would like to see/learn about more cross platform MP games.
I think one or more of the MMO's available is multiplatform. But who wants to play one of those?
Correction on Words With Friends- they do now offer an ad-free version but you have to buy "Zynga points" or some silliness with your credit card, in-app- meaning, you cannot download a paid ad-free app from any app market- unlike the iVersion.
HomerunBattle 3D is one that works for sure (online matchups) as for multiplayer lan games I'd think all the gameloft games that have mp (asphalt,uno,...) should work just fine.
The muffin Knight. Never tried cross platform but it claims to work. Not the best game ever but might be fun for you.

Hanging With Friends...another zynga game like WordsW/Friends....
Minecraft works also when connected on the same Wifi.
