Anyone used this yet and can confirm it works? I want to play games on my TV
Thanks

Install and run this. I know it works since i checked myself today, but hey, maybe you want to check for yourself. But yes it works on the Note.
Keep in mind that you have to be rooted and have Windows on your computer since you'll have to install the configuration tool.
Damn. That is a good reason to root... Any other bluetooth controllers work?
I can also confirm this works.
Other controllers that work: Phonejoy, iControlPad, ZeeMote (although Zeemote has too few buttons to be much good for anything).

I am still looking for a way to get the Wii apps to work, has anyone had any luck with any ROM for our phone?
CM7 is a success!
Wow it seems like such a long time coming, that I thought I wouldn't care anymore. But Damn! Its great to have Wii Controller Functionality! I have tried it, and with my classic controller attachment to my wiimote, I like the Free WiimoteController app from the free apps. Took a little work to make the emulators working correctly (tip: check the other settings for the Use Input Method checkbox)
Thank you everyone for keeping up the hope!
Is it possible to use more than one remote for multiplayer action?
multiplayr
I would think so, download an app to get it to work search "Wii controller" in the market
Yeah, most of the wiimote apps have multiple controller functionality
Someone get a way for a ps3 controller to connect. I just like finding multi used for my PlayStation stuff. Already got it as a Bluetooth gamepad for my laptop and I'd like to use it for my phone too!

Agreed. Better button layout options than that damned classic controller
Mind sharing how you got it working? Does it just work with the official KB1 release now (and of course corresponding custom roms?) Or does it still require some changes under the hood?
NO, only CM7 has gotten the right bluetooth to work with the pre-existing apps. No "under the hood" work.
Wont work with anything to do with touch wiz no matter what build u need cyanogen

Only cm7 and miui have the bluetooth files for it. The touch woz files are newer than the ones wii remotes use

IS there any gamepads that work with a WiFi only stock HC Dell streak 7 ? Or any xbox/ps3 controllers?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
I can say that I cant get my sixaxis to actually work with any streaks. After pairing it never actually detects it.
USB ones dont work as stock kernels dont support usb host mode.
Try a wiimote, mabye that'll work
Thanks I'll try, is there a video for the Wii one or a tutorial?

I read for the sixaxis it harms to be rooted,

Yes you need to be rooted to use the sixaxis, I tried the compability checker tool and it says it should work. But after pressing the go button it launches but never actually does the final step of detecting my sixaxis.
Oh ok, well post about it if it works out

I got my sixaxis working, I use a HC rom from dj steve. One tip I have after you use the PC pairing tool to enter the BT ID in. Look at the local BT address that sixaxis says your system is. Not quite sure, but think it showed me a different one then the system about page did. Then it was working.
I am fully aware that you can get a Official PS3 control pad to work on Android.
Using the USB method of contecting devices does anyone have a USB gamepad working?
Edit: If so which gamepads?
You can simply connect via Bluetooth
USB not Bluetooth

He's talking about using the OTH method, rather than the Bluetooth method.
As for any working, I have no idea, since I haven't made an OTG setup for my tablet yet. It's on my to-do list.

Yes I am talking about the OTG method. In my current location I really struggle to get anything so any advice on what I should buy to play games?
After checking all the threads I could find for those using various OTG setups, there do not seem to be any game controllers working that way. BT is going to be your best option here and there are several game pads that will work well with the touchpad.

I'm not sure specifically about the TP, but on my Nexus S, as long as you had ICS and a kernel that supported OTG, then there were a number of game pads you could use through OTG such as a wired 360 controller and some Logitech ones.
You can check the link in my sig for more info.
I'll try and test this out on my TP sometime this week when I get a chance.

I have found a few older posts stating that you cannot pair the HTC One with a PS3 controller, but nothing particularly recent. I'm running the Android Revolution ROM that is based on Android 4.2.2. I also have a Wiimote and a Wii U Pro controller: I'd love to use any of the damn things on this device, mainly so I can connect the phone to my TV and play old NES and SNES games. Thanks in advance.
Still haven't seen any info. Anybody know how to do this?

I looked briefly into this about a week ago. Basically, we can't. I think there may be some ROMs out there that support the particular Bluetooth protocol we need, but Stock and AD 4.2.2 do not.

I tried doing this last week. HTC One can't pair with PS3 via BT. I tried it also with Sixaxis... and Sixaxis doesn't work with HTC One.
I did try the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Logitech Bluetooth Mouse on the One and they worked flawlessly.

That was on a sense based rom. CM roms work, I don't know about GE roms.
Thanks folks. Anybody know if a Wii U controller or other Bluetooth controllers will work? Mouse and keyboard are cool, but for old school games I want a controller.

Has anyone tried and used Sony remote play
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/ps4-remote-play-t2929147/page231
Does it work well on our nexus 6.
I've used it. It works fantastic when you're on the same network as your PS4. They haven't made it work outside the home yet on Lollipop. Probably won't until Lollipop comes out for the Xperia phones.
I too have tried it, and it does work great!

Yep works great
works flawless after you set it up properly. I use it almost every day
Are you guys able to use the dualshock manager to connect the controller natively, or are you all using sixaxis? Do you still have to double click for R3 and L3?

How did you get this to work on the nexus 6
Thanks guys so am I right to assume what this does is allow me to a game on ps4 on my phone?. I thought it meant I could play all the free games as well, on psn. Wishful thinking I suppose.
