[Q] how to bring back my x8 to live...?

Hello Frns...lately i installed a custom ROM "MiniCM7-2.1.7-mimmi"...i installed it using Xrecovery.....
everything went fine...
but after the installation i reboot my fone...
then everything went wrong....
now my fone gets stuck in the welcome page (sony sricsson logo)
...............
so i request u all frns...is there any way i can get my fone back to working ....?
Plz...reply....need help urgently !

do a fullwipe before flashing a rom

@Kirmada i did that too....
but still after doing a fullwipe im facing this problem.....
is there any way out now to make my fone working back to normal...?

if am not wrong u need to install with cwm? neways,can u get into recovery menu?

try seus then, it will flash ur phone back to 2.1 again,gudluck

hey thanks for the guide.....now i have a hope to bring back my cell to working using Flashtool..
but i quo.... its says flashtool for x10...
will it work for my x8/......?
i have already downloaded the .ftf file (X8 Shakira E15i_2.1.1.A.0.6_generic).....

jus follow the guide properly,but if u find confusing do with SEUS

how about trying to flash xx15 kernel back with flashtool it helped me when i faced the same problem as yours. some custom rom will actually instal xxx6 kernel specially the stock software.

I'm uploading for you new LP5 FULL ROM, CF is right, hard to flash..
5% now.....stay tuned....
How to flash :
1) ODIN flash the PIT & Q1 BOOTLOADER (EUR for N7000)
2) remove the battery
3) - HOME POWER boot into ODIN model (screen will not turn on)
4) wait 10sec then + to continue
5) ODIN flash the rest of LP5

Yes, because when I unpacked it there was a "LC5" folder in it..

Chainfire has already flashed it and confirms that it's running on 1.4ghz.

You can not unlock you bootloader cos you will brick your x8.
This means you can not flash custom kernel. You can only Install rom on stock kernel, but PrimeHD is on Alfs and nAa.

You have to root your mobile and install busybox han you can install custom roms on stock kernel.

[Solved]Unable to upgrade

I have a X8 with CM7 installed(2.3.5)
I am unable to upgrade it to 2.3.7..as im unable to flash the required kernel..
I really would like to have ics on my phone

Yes, but...what's the problem? You can't unlock the bootloader? Or Flashtool throws error?

u must unlock ur bootloader in order to get the custom kernel but 1st be sure that ur x8 unlock-able there is an issue of watt.

What kind of cm7 do you use?
Did you unlock your bootloader?
Did you install the latest Flashtool?
Do you have the latest nAa ics kernel in /flashtool/firmwares?
If you didn't unlock your bootloader, then you have to check the manufacturing date. If it's 11w29>, you can unlock the bootloader. Once you unlocked using Flashtool you have to download latest nAa ics kernel and move the .ftf into /flashtool/firmwares. Then you have to download the latest MiniCM or ISDX or ParanoidAndroid zip with latest gapps-ics. Copy the 2 zips to the root of your SD and flash latest nAa kernel with Flashtool. Then go to recovery, full wipe, flash the ROM that you downloaded and latest gapps-ics. Reboot. Done!

My phone doesnot boot itself..thats the issue..I cannot see the SE logo also...

be carefull! don't ever to unlock your x8 which manufacture date is 11w29 + !
you will get a hardbrick!

unlock bootloader
Flash the latest kernel
backup
factory reset, wipe, etc (very important)
flash ROM

Go into recovery and install .145 only, without any wipe.
You will get a new system with all original apps and without losing your apps and your data.
