Call sound

Hi everybody, actually I don't know if anybody had the same problem, if so please post a link to the thread. So, I have a bad issue with my Nexus One. The sound during a call is very very weak, even when I turn the volume to the maximum, it sounds like my contact is talking from afar. I bought my phone from a guy, and the phone was powered by non-customized Android 2.2.1 FRG83D build (the Vodafone/SFR french carrier version). Someone tell me to install CyanogenMod 7 because the sound is a little bit louder, so i did this, but it doesn't solve my problem. Actually I can give the phone back to this guy, or bring it to the HTC customer service, but I really want to take care of this issue as fast as possible. If someone can help me I would appreciate.

Try flashing a kernel with the audio boost feature.

Hello,
I noticed this problem today, at first I thought it was a Rom or App related (I even unloaded voodoo) so during testing I did a full reboot and had the phones rear speaker against my ear with it facing a mirror... As soon as the samsung boot logo came up (the first one) the rear speaker was active and it kept making this "hissing" sound. (like the sound you hear from large speakers when the power is on but there's no audio input.
The sound is very low and you can only notice it when the speaker is near your ear, now is this normal behavior ? does your sgs do this too? any solution?
during my search for a similar problem I found some thread on cyanogen saying it's samsung related and that it was fixed on later versions (Froyo and up) that doesn't seem to be the case for me...

Exactly the same situation here. We have 3 SGS i9000,all of them have the same problem. I tried several firmwares but nothing changed.Now I am trying the ServiceMode-Audio configurations.
Did you find a solution?
I have the latest Europe firmware (v2.3.4 - I9000XXJVP) but still have the problem.

Do the people you talk to on the phone complain about not hearing you well due to low voice? Make sure by listening to a recorded conversation

The people i talk have no complains about low voice or noise.I tested it with changing phones in a call with my friend. My problem is in my site. In a call i always hear radio interference sound on the background. It is coming from the rear speaker because it is always on. This sound is so loud that i hear it from the ear-speaker hole. Do you have any interference sound ?

I am new to this, I have rooted my SGM, installed CWM, tried various CM ROMs including ver 7.1, 7.2 RC1 to RC5.1.
None of this would play sounf through the speaker while playing a recorded clip from the camera?
Is this a bug or has anybody tried this ?? or is it just me bad luck??
Just to confirm that Iflashed enamoN ROM V4 and it played the same file through the speaker, so I dont think there is anything wrong with the phone.

Mostly Hardware Problem

I do not think hardware is a problem as flashing emanoN rom does produce sound on speaker.
And everything else like Alarm, Ring, other notification, everything comes from the speaker, even youtube media comes from the speaker, its only when the media recorded from the camera does not come?
I am sure it is not a hardware problem.

That happend to me also after installing some music app i don't know which was it.
I can't explain why this happens but i guess there is some kind of problem with the software......

[Q] Speaker problem on CM7

All CM7 based Rom or CM10 I can not use the speaker phone conversation because I do not hear well, and who I talk to hear background noise if double unbearable, I am very happy to solve the problem.
