I found the KJ4 deodexed rom but their is something wrong with it. It does not install correctly. Are there any other stock galaxy note deodexed roms which are CWM flashable?

deodexed JVH with bootloaders?

Can't find a deodexed JVH with bootloaders.. preferably Odin flashable.
Also cracked my phone screen today! D: Shall definitely be buying the SGS2 now!
Yeah, I haven't seen one.
Just flash the firmware with bootloaders.
Then flash again with the deodexed firmware. Only takes another 2 minutes
Okay cheers and flash the deodexed rom via cwm?

Is there a CWM 2.3 ROM for flashing with CWM that UPDATES BOOTLOADERS? Im on darky 9.5...
No.
I'm not completely sure, but I think it's technically impossible.
Anyway, flashing with Odin is pretty straightforward.

Do you have CWM recovery?
Sent from my SGH-I897 using Tapatalk
Recovery versions and bootloaders DO NOT MATTER. cwm is baked into the kernel. bootloaders are backward compatible.

Flash this, then Flash CM7 after full wipe

Hi Guys,I was quite surprise that cwm recovery is already installed.can someone enlighten me?I was previously using Motorola Atrix and it was different.just hope to understand more on SGN.

Kernels nearly always contain CWM Recovery, so when you flash a kernel, you get the CWMR as well.
Thanks for your reply!you have really brighten my knowledge on SGN.

are kernels ICS and/or GB compatible only or can we flash any kernel on any rom ?
"are kernels ICS and/or GB compatible only or can we flash any kernel on any rom ? "
Nope. ICS kernels only work on ICS roms and vice versa for GB kernels.

Just flash stock rom with pc Odin, simples.

Will that unroot it too? Or do I not need to unroot to get OTAs and Kies compatibility?

If you flash stock rom, it will unroot and remove cwm also.

Hmm, and I can use Odin to flash a stock ROM over cm10? I've never used Odin before, why cant I just flash the stock ROM over cwm?

because stock roms doesn't come in the form of cwm installable zips.
Thanks for the advice so far guys, just a few more things:
do I need to go back to a GB rom before flashing a stock ICS ROM via Odin?
I saw in this thread that says it's optional: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
And just to make sure, if I do flash back to a stock ICS ROM via Odin, it will overwrite my current kernal/root right?

You can flash straight to ics but remember you'll then be on unsafe kernel. Do wipes before flashing.
Yes, flashing stock will overwrite kernel.

You could use temporary cwm and then flash a proper bootanimation zip
