Hello all first im new here i like the site, secon i have a the version 5 software(i guess, don really need he v.6)
ok problem 1 i cant seem to be able to put music in my phone or starage card and have it played in the media player, it basically does not appear, but everything does apear in the ringtones seccion. When i try to syn withe active sync and media player on my pc i get this :
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available."
Problem 2, i have a chess game i got but cant seem to put it in my phone, can some one tell me exactly what folder to pu it in
P.S and good game you recomend?

ahhhh music libary

Hi all,
got something that's driving me crazy, i can sync my music with windows media player fine and the music copies across as it should however when i come to play the music with touchflo 3d it only shows the first lot of music i put on.
I cannot seem to figure out how to refresh the libray on touchflo 3d...
does anyone have the answer for me?

If you tap 'Library', then slide accross to Albums... do your recently synced items show up there?

I am having this problem too
I cannot see any of my music in TF3D music player

no nothing is showing up i resynced all my music with media player and still nothing shows, it nows says no music found.
there must be a better way to sort the library.
there shouldnt be this hassle just to put music on the phone!

I think you require too much for a phone so cheap.
Try the advantage,or wait for HD.

i want your job if you consider this to be (a phone so cheap)
you get paid too much.
on the plus side to the normally challenged people out there , you have to update the library in windows media player, then go into library on touchflo 3D, select all songs and play the first track it then updates all the tracks for you.

thannks man, this has been driving me crazy - talk about a flaw in the system!
Will

Delete Application Data/HTC/AudioManager/AudioManager_Eng.vol and do soft reset.
this will rescann your complete library.
i got the same problem and this helped

I still cannot get it to work - all my music syncs of from media player and I can play it on media player on the diamond but on TF3D it just hangs on Searching!!!
If i delete all my media and load 1 song it works fine if I do the above deleting of the HTC application folder but if I then try to add some more it does not work!!
Has anyone got this working? or is it just me?????

I have moved to S2P but its a shame i wanted to use the built in stuff

I had the same problems too. Until I read and followed the instructions for adding songs and album art and updating the library on TF3D.
Now for the enchilada!! Does anyone know how you can update windows media's library (once you have added more songs to the Diamond from PC) and set it to search in a particular folder instead of adding all the media files on the phone(tomtom files, alert & warning sounds and the like) to your music library. Only solution thus far more is to delete these files every time i update, which is now getting a bit tiring .
Any help or suggestions welcomed.

new rom...not full picture..

i just flashed my kaiser with the hyperdraggon IV 6.5 lite and when i stream videos in .asx format in windows media player, i am getting a zoomed in picture of the center of the video. it is missing the edges all around it. i did not have this problem before i flashed so im thinkin it might be the windows media player in the rom.
is there a reason for this? if not is there any other player that can play a streaming file in the form of .flv, .asx., .ram/.rm, .sdp, or .pls ?

Problem with HTC Audio Manager

Hello everyone, Im new to this forum.
i have brought the HTC Touch VIVA last week, i have noticed that HTC Audio manager has got a problem. whenever i play the songs it usually plays for 40 seconds & the player closes itself. Dont know what could be the problem.
i did searched this forum regarding the problem htc audio manager but couldn't find any.
Default Version of audio manager that comes with HTC touch viva is ver 2.0 build 1819.2129.
jst now i have upgraded the audio manager to HTC_Audio_Manager_2.2_1822.3925_L
but this dint help, the problem still persists.
any help will be appreciated. ty

probably your mp3s are the problem, have you tried playing other mp3s?

yes i have tried many other songs, the player closes itself after 40sec n so, i have tired other players like WMP, Kinoma free player, the songs jst plays well in other players but the problem is with this htc audio manager, even when im usin the earphones the problem still persists.
after reading all the members post in this forum i planning to upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 released by PhamQuang n posted by licat.
hope winmo6.5 not have such prob regarding the audio manager.

try this...
go to Application Data\HTC\AudioManager
delete currentplaylist
when you open AudioManager, it will scan for songs and generate a new currentplaylist.
if that did not solve the problem... use Nitrogen instead, it's way better that AudioManager.

windows media player lagging

help my X1 wmp is lagging when playing video i recorded from my x1 camera,video is lagging juz like a scratched cd is playing(but if i play that 3gp video at my desktop there is no lagging problem),b4 this im using w6.1 now cooked to w6.5 still the same,have any idea to slove this lagging problem?

tried other players then wmp ?

You may want to try out TCPMP. It's old, reliable (for the most part) and free.
