I was just wondering if there is a limit to the number of applications you can put on a gs1 ... Right now, i have reached 10 pages with touchwiz. The recent commercial offer doesn't help

The limit are the 2gb of memory you have for the apps.

Dunno. I would assume there's a limit on the number of apps, but it's probably ridiculously high.

Every site that shows the spec of Captivate says is has 512 of ram. Why does ever task/file manager says it has 339?

It's because the remaining ram is used by Samsung for system operation.
All phones show less ram than what they are supposed to have because the remaining is reserved for the system.
Oh ok. Thanks alot.

There's your answer right there. Your on a stock Rom. Free your phones capabilities. Stock always seems to freeze up or lag..

I keep getting a notification that my internal memory is getting full. Does ICS not allow the transfer of apps to sd card?

Actually they did not remove it from ICS..its up to the Motorola..I upgraded a Sony Arc S to ICS with original unaltered Sony firmware and I can still move apps to and from the SD card.
So, I was looking for some roms for my Note, and it seems like the devs warn about a memory limit on the /system folder, is that right?
If so, are there any other memory limits on the Note?
Thanks for your help!
These limits will only be faced if you have a repaired emmc chip as part of the /system and or /data sections will be corrupt.
If you've got a fully functioning unit, there are no limits really for the ROMs that are available.

I do not take credit for this and will post the original link when I find it, although I thought I would share for anyone that doesn't know. there is an app in the marketplace called Seeder, once installed on a rooted android device it eliminates almost all lag.
I've used it for several days now and I admit it works amazing! Check it out if your phone is rooted...
It was originally posted under the Nexus 4 section...
Enjoy

Sorry but it as already been told and explained, even by RC.
It doesn't really work, it's more like a placebo.
Forget it.
